I've been watching then for months. They think they're being discreet, but I recognize the signs. After all, Denny played these same games with me, a lifetime ago.
The more I watch, the more I realize I miss that life...but he has Alan now...it's too late for me to try and win him back. Or is it?
Maybe not win him back, per se, but join them? Denny would be open to it, but would Alan? I step out on the balcony and they turn as one, "Paul...join us," Alan says, as Denny hands me a cigar.
