Chapter Text
I have a story to tell. It's not a fairy tale. It's not a pleasant story, nor is it easy to believe. But unbelievable as it may be, and however dark and horrible it might seem at times, it is a story that needs be told.
It is the story of my life. I do not care what you think of it. I do not care what you think of me. It is a story that needs to be told, for if I do not tell anyone, I fear I might go insane, convincing myself it was all a dream. And then the question comes. What part is a dream? I'll let you be the judge of that.
So this, then, is the story of Me. A story of my search for love, for trust, for friendship. A story about war and death, about heroes and villains â€" perhaps not the ones you would suspect, but they are there. All in all, it is the kind of story, I guess, that could be found in any library. For one exception.
This story is true.
