Her father Gene Halliwell is a gifted psychic who cna read the minds of others and induce thoughts, he also can move objects with his mind with out touching them. He also has a gift to change the physical form of a solid object to an animal. Her mother likewise can start, control and put out fire at will and move objects with her mind. "But Mom, I need those pills!" Jasmine pleaded with her mother as she watched her dump her migraine headache medicine in the garbage. "No you don't and wouldn't have to rely on them either if you would just listen to me and your father." She snorted and said "But I hate mediation it is so boring..." Her mother just shook her head and watched as Jasmine stomped off. Her father walked in a few moments later "Is every thing alright?" She gave him a piercing look "No Gene your daughter is suffering. Just look at her. Her grades have dropped she won't talk to any one and her visions are becoming more intense. We should have of binded her when she was born." Gene sighed he knew and couldn't do anything to helo because of the stubburnness, from her mother's side. "I know. I know. But what can we do she won't listen to us." "Well I just say we bind her pow-" Robin was cut off midsentence by a small exsplosion in the left corner of their house.Jasmine's room. They both ran towards her room their adreniline rushing. "Jasmine what-" Gene was cut off this time. There was her small chair in peices on the floor and a black scorch mark on the wall. "Daddy I didn't mean....Mom I'm sorry I just...." Jasmine started crying and Gene could feel her powers of empathy pushing him to cry but her stopped it, she needed to feel it. "It's okay hunny...We've gotta talk thought okay?" She nodded tears flowing from her hazel eyes, and down her fair skin. "Jasmine, you don't think we know what yoru going through but we do...We've gone through it too." She looked up at him and gave him a clueless expression. "Watch." Her father waved his hand and moved a lamp on her dresser across to a small coffee table she had. "Robin." She looked at her Mother now. She watched in fascination as her mother started a small fire in her hands and kindled it till it looked like a small burning heart. "See? Now you've got to listen to us or it's only going to get worst." They talked about control and not using their gifts for personal gain. But for Jasmine it didn't sink in and her parnets would find out at about 3 pm when her school got out the next day.
