Oh wow. You sure know how to break hearts. Short, but it packed a real emotional punch. I'm surprised it's affecting me as much as it did. Yay catharsis.

That was one of the saddest things I have ever read. My Grandfather had Alzheimer's so it hit even closer to home.
The "I'll remind you bit was sweet and cute and all, but the last part, about how he one day wouldn't remember which notes to play... Oh that ripped my heart out.
But I loved it.
