Verbs

by fluffmonster

Wilson entered House's office to get his morning coffee when he noticed him writing something.

"Avoiding clinic duty I see. You must be amazing, healing people from all the way in here."

"Yeah, that's what they pay me for."

"Gimme a verb."

"What?"

"A verb. You know, an action word..."

"I know what it is, but why-"

"Never mind, I've got one."

"What are you doing? Is that like a mad-lib or something?"

"You could say that. This reminds me of those commercials, you know, `Verb, it's what you do."

"Well, since you do me, does that make me a verb?" Wilson said with a grin.

House snorted. "I guess so."

House set the paper down.

"You done? Let's hear it."

James picked up the pad and studied it. House beamed as he watched the series of odd looks that flashed across Wilson's face as he read.

"This isn't a mad-lib! This is a story about us! Having sex in your office!"

"There are a lot of verbs in there. I can't do them all myself." House said suggestively.

James raised his eyebrows. "Clear the desk."
