Nice! It is so hard to get House in character, but I could see this. The fear of being hurt by a loved one stemming from his abusive childhood. All the way to it ultimately being a test for wilson. Nice

Oh, I liked this a *whole* lot. Wilson's thoughtfulness in relation to House's leg being restrained, House's wllingness to let Wilson actually hurt him. Wilson's reassurance that he would have let House die rather than leave him in chronic pain. All of it.
Just one phrase I didn't even begin to understand:
'receiving the ascent'
Something to do with climbing? I'd love to know what you meant by it...
