A really good example of fanfic reflecting realism rather than perfection in a relationship. Not everything works perfectly every time, although you wouldn't know that from much slash written. Don't like to read too much of the realistic type of fic, slash or not, but once in a while, it's kinda nice and this was. Loved the 'paunchy' comment. Thank goodness they have the TV!

I really enjoyed reading this. Poor boys - they just can't get it together. It's just so nice to read a story where it's not all fantastic! Cause yeah, we all know that there are times when it's just not working.
I guess it's also a bit sad - is this the way they view the relationship in general? That they just can't be bothered?
On the whole though, I like the little bits of insight that we get, such as the fact that House is a considerate lover.
I hope the boys have better luck next time :)
Oh, and this was such a delightful counterpoint to your other post, where everything is "oh so perfect"!
