Little sparkly lights and multicoloured tinsel adorned the branches, shimmering between the thick foliage.
"Got your balls right here."
Jason snorted. "Har har."
Lex hung the shiny ornaments on his favourite tree slash uncle.
"It's so great that it's the same date as Christmas." He fixed a star made of gold and diamonds on top of Jason's head, careful not to mess the hair and leaves that grew as one from the creature's skin.
"So great that you invite your boyfriend Superman in here, really. He and his friends are always nice to me." The villainous doctor grumbled, stretching his arms to the sides to allow Lex better access.
"Oh, come on," Lex grinned. "It's your birthday. We all play nice on
your birthday."
