The Glitter Jungle:
Fiction:

Dawn
History. Highlander, Methos/Kronos

I remember those golden mornings in the beginning of time, so many years ago, so many lifetimes ago. I remember the lazy nights by the campfire, only the crickets around us, the world ours. How you'd sleep, your head on my belly, the sweet smile of innocence on your sleeping face. You were innocent then, before mortals started walking the earth and you lost your sweetness. Before you turned into what we were, into what you still are now.

There was only sweat between us then, not blood. On a fur rug, with no other soul around us for thousands of miles, your skin glistening when you arched on top of me - do you remember? Do you still think of those days?

What I wouldn't give to have those vanilla days back.
