In June, my good friend Nansi was having some difficulty, and I promised her that if she named an HP pairing, I would write her Smut On Demand. She named Harry/Snape, and despite my issues with the pairing, I gritted my teeth and got to work.

The thing rapidly spiraled out of all control, and I didn't finish it until, like, the middle of August, at which point I sent it away for Brit-beta and started to fret. But the results are finally in; thanks to resonant, Ellen Fremedon, and BethH for (extra)ordinary beta, and to Lexin and Rahalia for Brit-picking.

Because I began writing this before the release of OotP, it's a tiny bit jossed. Nothing serious. We're in 1998, in the same timeline as In the Dark.
