Why does everyone keep calling me a neo?

Sometimes, people who are new don't ask questions and get kind of 
skewed meanings of the terms.  If you're new and asking 
questions, you're a "neo" -- everybody was once, so don't be 
embarrassed. Welcome aboard, you'll catch on.  Anybody who isn't 
in fandom -- and especially those who just don't understand our 
obsessions -- is "mundane" (god save me from a mundane life!)  

So, I say, fiawol*, don't gafiate**!
