But things had changed and his own circumstances, his own sense of rightness, made it necessary for him to adapt the tradition and to uphold it -- that of dancing for one's husband on one's wedding night. His mother had done it, as had both of his grandmothers and as many ancestresses as he had ever heard of. They had, every one of them, danced for their husbands on their wedding night. So he was going to dance for Elim, as best as he could. Julian nervously tugged on the golden bronze open vest he wore, making the bells upon the fringe at the bottom of it tinkle merrily. He was both thrilled and embarrassed by how well the gauzy gold harem pants fit him. So soft against his skin. Pants that were not quite see through. The doctor's feet were bare, except for the mehndi designs he had decorated them with and the ankle bracelets made of golden coins. Quite frankly, Julian thought he looked like a harem boy and could only hope that the dance he had come up with would please his new husband as much as the outfit would. Julian picked up the finger castanets his mother had given him and stepped into the bedroom. Garak was half reclined on the bed, reminding the younger man of a smug sheik. Julian grinned as he heard his beloved Cardassian gasp. He posed for a moment and then snapped the castanets together and began to sway ever so slowly. Feet just barely moving, hips moving slightly, making bell and coin tinkle softly. Slowly tracing his upper body with the castanets on his fingers, teasingly, allowing his head to fall back as if in pleasure. Allowing a sigh to leave his lips as the cool metal on his fingers brushed against his nipples. At his husband's moan, Julian began to rock his hips as his body undulated. Legs parted as he thrust forward, as if seeking more contact and then twisting back. Taunting Elim, tempting him. The bells and coins punctuating his every movement. Catching the light, reflecting it. Moving towards Garak one moment and away the next, but always drawing nearer, while still staying out of reach. Julian heard Garak growl with frustration and grinned in triumph. His husband had a hungry look about him, one Julian wanted to sate. Longed to sate. He strutted over to the bed and straddled his husband. He bent down and kissed his love voraciously, as hungry as him for more. Thrilled as Garak grabbed his vest and pulled him closer. Julian broke the kiss. "I take it you liked the dance." "Very much so. In fact, I'd quite like another." Garak said, pulling him in for another kiss and rolling Julian underneath him. "Sounds good to me." Julian smiled and kissed his husband, sure he would enjoy this dance even more than the traditional one. --- The End
