I don't gain anything by posting this except perhaps for a few reviews, did I forget to mention anything? A/N: Now, my busted fics always did seem to be popular, so when I was suddenly hit with plotbunnies for a few more, I didn't hesitate to write them down. It's not exactly like the others as it's a lot less rickety, but I like it anyway and I hope you do too. Please review. --- Kathryn bound into the small room. It was relatively dark and almost exploding with the stuff that had been crammed into it. Chairs, tables and Starfleet-issue sofas were almost toppled on top of each other and in a corner, a closet seemed to be winning its fight with a large – and rather ugly – lamp. A tall figure was doing a good attempt at pacing amidst all the clutter. "Chakotay?" Kathryn asked, surprised at seeing him pace, which was in fact more her habit than his. The man, who really was Chakotay, looked up startled and immediately tripped over a stray bean-bag – an idea of Tom's no doubt – and landed face-first on a conveniently placed couch. "Kathryn!" he mumbled into the couch's pillows. His head emerged slowly from the hot pink fabric. "What are you doing here?" "Coming to wish you luck, of course!" she exclaimed. "Now tell me, what are you doing for talent night?" Chakotay grinned. "Sorry, I can't say. It's a surprise." Kathryn pouted. "Are you sure about that?" She walked through the mess with purposeful strides and quickly reached the sofa that he was still sprawled on. She leaned dangerously close to his face and continued in a husky whisper. "Surely you can tell me." "Uh… Kathryn –" Chakotay sputtered, but she had already closed the gap between them. A soft startle made them abruptly break the kiss and Kathryn saw little Naomi Wildman – dressed in a lovely fairy tale dress that made her look very sweet even though it clashed horribly with her hair – standing on the other side of the tiny room, half-hidden between a trunk and a large potted plant. "Captain, is Chakotay your prince charming?" The young half-Ktarian asked. Kathryn blinked. "Uh. . . Naomi is also in the performance." Chakotay gulped. Kathryn stared. Naomi didn't blink.
