Will looked at his ship-mates, disappointment and frustration in his
eyes. Why would they not accept his gifts? He only wanted to help. Why
couldn't they see that? And there was Q, smilingly observing. Will
turned towards the entity, who shrugged.

And then Will realized.

He could change them. If his friends didn't know their own good, he
could make them understand. He was a god-like being! He closed his
eyes, and opened them again. In the space between the universe that
was and the universe that was to be, thrilled the triumphant laughter
of Q.
