How could I not have known your pain?
It took an alien to tell me that you might

I was frightened beyond anything
When you did not know us, did

And furious beyond words
when she did not move to heal you.
When I thought you might be lost to me.

Everything is in balance once more.
Having you back I could be gracious,
Even understanding.

But I don't understand what to do with
This new love for you, deeper than ever,
