If I love you too much you won't believe me, thinking yourself
unworthy
And me too unaware or insincere.
You will think perhaps that I mean to seduce you with empty promises
And leave you alone and not caring.

If I love you not enough you won't believe me, you'll
File it as a feeling born of familiarity, shared time.
I can hear you say that you appreciate my fealty but see you
Pull away from my embrace.

How will I find the balance you will take?
My life and light and oh so Vulcan love.
