I think so. If you are under the age of 18 years old, leave while you still can. This is an alternate reality story, which starts out on DS9, three years before Voyager ends up in the Delta Quadrant. Note: Part of the Femme Fuh-Q Fest. --- She slipped quietly down yet another empty corridor checking occasionally to make sure she wasn't detected. Following the directions of the map contained in the padd she held, she made her way to one of the most secluded and least used comm. panels on the station. Finding the unit, she placed the padd securely in her pocket and pulled out a tricorder specifically designed to detect hidden security measures. Her message had to get out about the Cardassian weapons base or it could mean the destruction of the Maquis, and all the lives and home worlds they fought for. She knew if she were caught, she would be dealt with most severely by Starfleet, so her objective was to quickly and inconspicuously carry out her mission, then slip off the station as easily as she had slipped on. Scanning the communications unit, she found the hidden conduit that contained the security sensors. With her expert engineering skills, she effectively and efficiently disabled the security protocols for that section of the hallway only. Disabling them in that particular secluded area would cause little if any attention to the Chief of Security on the main deck. With that done, she set the rest of her plan in action. --- It had been a long day. Lieutenant Jadzia Dax, finally off duty was heading down one of the least populated corridors toward the solitude of her own quarters. Thinking what a wonderful thing it would be to finally be able to take a hot relaxing bath, she rounded yet another corner of the seemingly endless hallway. That's when she saw her - a Klingon woman, small in stature, but with a look of determination, and a steady hand on her phaser. Ducking back around the corner, Jadzia risked another glance at the young woman. She had a small yet athletic physique. The length of her brown wavy hair was just past her shoulders and her profile was quite attractive. She had no identifying marks except for the ridges that protruded from her forehead, and even they were not very pronounced which may have been an indication that she wasn't pure Klingon. Acting with caution, the young woman checked to see if anyone was watching, then proceeded to remove the cover on an access port of a public comm panel. She began manipulating the internal workings of the system, checking her wrist chronometer occasionally as if she were on some sort of time limit. Visitors didn't usually tamper with the technology unless they were up to no good. Jadzia had wasted precious moments just observing the young Klingon, and now knew that she needed to react fast. She jumped from behind the corner armed with her phaser set on stun and shouted "Hold it!" With lightening flash movements, the stranger drew her own weapon and fired, then sprinted down the hall leaving the covering off of the panel. Jadzia, having missed being vaporized by a narrow margin, ran after her. Knowing the ship as she did, she knew the woman was headed toward a dead end section of the space station. It would be only a matter of time before she caught her. "Damn-it!" she cursed to herself as she spun around looking for a miracle of a way out. She had been too careless - not reading the map of the space station properly, and had run herself right into a dead end, with a Starfleet officer hot on her trail. B'Elanna Torres, Maquis officer and chief engineer on a ship known as Crazy Horse braced herself for what would most likely be a brigade of security officers to take her away. She vowed to go down fighting. Leaning crouched down near a wall, she aimed her phaser, determined to render unconscious the first thing that rounded the corner. Jadzia leaned against the wall, having better sense than to just run around the corner into phaser fire that she knew would be waiting for her. "I know you're there," she said loud enough for the intruder to hear her. "If you don't show any resistance, I'm sure the station authorities will go easy on you." "Who the hell are you trying to fool? You think I'm stupid enough to believe that bull shit?" B'Elanna shouted angrily. Jadzia recognized that voice - a voice she hadn't heard since her days at the academy. "B'Elanna? B'Elanna Torres?" she asked without going around the corner. "How do you know who I am?" B'Elanna demanded with a shaky voice. "Who are you?" Jadzia lowered her weapon and chanced a peak around the corner. B'Elanna immediately saw her and aimed the phaser at her head. Jadzia knew that she must have intrigued the woman mildly or else she wouldn't be alive still. "My name is Lieutenant Jadzia Dax." That was a name she hadn't heard in a long time. She knew Dax from the academy. She was one of the only other students that didn't treat her as if she were some sort of freak when she was there, because of her heritage. She was also one of the few people she had had a crush on in her life. Standing hesitantly, with the phaser still aimed, she said," Step around the corner - slowly!" Jadzia replaced her phaser in the holster, then with her hands raised to show no aggression, she moved around the corner. B'Elanna still looked the same - brown wavy hair that had grown just past her shoulders, beautiful eyes and gorgeous face. And she was still the stern and aggressive Klingon she remembered from the Academy. "It's good to see you too." Jadzia quipped. "So now what? Are you going to turn me over to the station authorities?" "Depends. What were you doing back there?" "Nothing." She stated flatly. "Just trying to send a message." "To whom?" "My mother." B'Elanna stated quite honestly. "Why didn't you just use one of the public comm units on the Promenade?" "Because I don't have the credits." B'Elanna answered angrily. She relaxed her stance and placed her phaser back in her inside jacket pocket. Looking into incredible blue eyes, she said, "and since I couldn't think of a reputable way of gaining the credits, I decided to use more unconventional means." "Yes, I remember you always had a flare for making things work for you - especially when it came to engineering reroutes." She grinned warmly at the young Klingon woman as a thought entered her head. "I wonder why no one is here?" Jadzia would have expected half of Odo's security team to be swarming the area after phaser shots were detected. "Oh, it's because I temporarily disabled the security sensors. They should be back on line now." B'Elanna stated. Dax was impressed at the woman's ability to undermine one of Odo's security measures. "You should be working for Starfleet." She answered smiling. Jadzia thought for a moment. Luckily for her there wasn't any additional weapons fire or else she wouldn't be able to help B'Elanna, no matter who she was. She didn't see the harm in helping B'Elanna reach her mother - even if she used her own personal comm. link in her quarters. Then it dawned on her that B'Elanna could be lying. "So if I go back to that comm. panel, will I find that you were trying to contact someone else and not your mother like you said?" "No, just my mother. See for yourself if you don't believe me." B'Elanna replied. Together both women made their way towards the panel and true to her word B'Elanna was sending a personal message to someone named Miral Torres. Jadzia was sure that if she did some digging, she would discover that this woman was indeed B'Elanna's mother. After replacing the cover over the panel, she turned to B'Elanna and said, "You can use the comm. unit in my quarters." "I guess this means I'm off the hook?" B'Elanna said, a twitch of a smile forming on her lips. Jadzia smiled then replied, "Guess so. C'mon." Then the two proceeded toward Lieutenant Dax's quarters. --- Once they arrived, B'Elanna used Dax's comm. panel to contact her mother. Reassured that B'Elanna was telling the truth, Jadzia left the room to take a shower and change - at the same time allowing B'Elanna some privacy. "I'm fine mother. How are you doing?" "I'm well. And I miss you, my daughter." Miral Torres was a beautiful full-blooded Klingon woman. It was easy to see where B'Elanna got her stunning looks. They shared the same skin color and eyes, however, her mother's ridges were more pronounced. She held an air of power and control, but her softness was not lost when speaking to her only child. "I miss you too, mother." B'Elanna answered warmly. "When will I see you?" Miral asked. "Soon. I have a mission in about a week and then we'll be given some down time." "Wonderful!" Her mother exclaimed. "Someone has been trying to reach you. I bet you'll never guess whom." "My father." She answered flatly. He had been sending her letters on and off since she left the Academy. But she wasn't ready to see him. Twenty years was a long time and she was not sure she could forgive him for just walking out on them the way he did. Sensing the antagonism in her daughter's voice, she replied, "B'Elanna, give him a chance. At least he is trying." "Don't you think it's a little late for that?" She answered angrily. "He should have been trying for the last 20 years. " "We all make mistakes, daughter. He is only human after all. Just think about it ok? You don't have to make a decision now." Her mother spent many years angry at her x-husband. But she learned that her anger only made her bitter inside. She didn't want that to happen to her only daughter. "Alright, mother. I'll think about it, but I'm not making any promises." Miral smiled then said, "So tell me, are you still working for Captain Chakotay?" "Yes, and..." she paused to check where Jadzia was and was pleased to hear that she was still in the shower. "...I can't really talk about that right now." Miral understood what that meant. She knew her daughter was in the Maquis, and if B'Elanna didn't want to discuss where she was going or what she was doing, it meant that she wasn't alone. "So where are you staying now?" "I'm at Deep Space 9 - a Starfleet space station. Don't worry, mother. I'm with a friend." "Good." "Mother, I've got to go now. I just wanted you to know that I was all right." "I'm glad you called, B'Elanna." Touching the screen in an uncharacteristically human fashion, she said, "I miss you, my daughter." Returning the gesture, B'Elanna replied, "I miss you too. I love you mother." "And I you, daughter." Miral smiled. "Until next time." "It will be soon. I promise." B'Elanna said emotionally. Then the comm. link was cut. "It's hard, isn't it - to be away from home for so long." Jadzia said. She had just stepped out of the bathroom long enough to hear their heart felt goodbye's to one another. Sighing she replied, "Yes. Well you know how it is - occupational hazard. Oh and thanks for the use of the comm system." "It was my pleasure." Jadzia said grinning. "Hey, if it will keep you out of trouble, feel free to use it whenever you're here." Jadzia was stunned by the young Klingon's beauty. She wore a brown pullover sleeveless shirt with brown leather pants, a leather jacket and brown boots. The outfit was meant to be practical, not sexy, but Jadzia thought it was flattering on her nevertheless. Realizing she was staring, she snapped out of it and asked, "Are you hungry? I can replicate you anything you'd like." Grinning broadly and becoming surprisingly comfortable in the warmth of Dax's quarters, she replied, "Surprise me." "Okay, you asked for it." Jadzia answered. Still wearing her white bathrobe, she tossed the towel she used to dry her hair on the sofa and padded softly to the replicator. Being that she was unsure of what B'Elanna would like, she ordered a simple pasta dish and salad, and two non-alcoholic fruit drinks. As she moved the items to the table, she asked, "So, will you be leaving DS9 soon?" "I'll be leaving in three days after tonight." B'Elanna moved to sit in one of the chairs at the small dining room table. "Smells good." "I hope you like it," Jadzia said. She sat next to B'Elanna then grabbing her fork, began to eat. The two women ate and conversed quite comfortably. Old memories of their academy days were brought up innocently enough, and they both seemed to enjoy each other's company immeasurably. After they finished their dinner, they both moved to the sofa with their drinks as their conversation continued. As they talked, it became increasingly evident to B'Elanna that Dax had absolutely no idea that she was Maquis. B'Elanna Torres was much more than just an engineer. She used her feminine charm and her aggressive nature to procure much needed medical supplies and weapons for the cause. Her latest conquest had been completed after her dealings with a creepy little Ferengi named Quark. Quark's primary agenda was to make as much latinum as possible, so she was well aware that he was someone who could prove to be a reliable supplier. He was also taken by her looks and aggressiveness, which gave B'Elanna an edge. She conversed with him, letting him know what supplies and weaponry she would need, and had to promise to spend some personal time with him before he would even agree to let her see the merchandise in question. Although the very site of him was somewhat revolting to her, the evening she spent with him had its rewards. She was able to obtain some highly classified information on Cardassian operations. The next afternoon, at the same time she contacted her mother, she sent an encrypted message via piggyback on the signal to the captain of her ship, notifying him of the developments. She used the preface of contacting her mother as a cover up in case she was caught. The story about not having the credits to afford to contact her mother would play on the sympathies of any warm hearted humanoid and might also keep her from receiving anything stronger than a reprimand from a security guard. It worked like a charm and came with one perk - she was sitting in the presence of one of the loveliest creatures she had ever set eyes on. "You know, I wanted to thank you for not turning me in earlier." B'Elanna said. "Well, you're lucky I have a thing for Klingons, especially beautiful ones like yourself." Jadzia replied. B'Elanna blushed slightly and smiled. Then throwing caution to the wind, she said, "You know I used to have a crush on you." "Really?" Jadzia asked somewhat surprised. "I didn't even know you noticed me." "Well I did." B'Elanna placed her drink on the table then turned toward her hostess with her leg resting comfortably underneath her. "You were one of the only people there that didn't act as if I were a freak of nature, and that meant a lot to me. Klingons aren't too common among cadets at the Academy - especially Klingons like me." "Klingons like you? I'm not sure what you mean?" "My father was human." B'Elanna said. "Oh." Placing her empty glass on the table, Jadzia said, "I thought about you quite a bit after you left. I was not happy when I found out you were gone. I thought the Academy was crazy to let you go. You were one of the best engineering students I knew of." Jadzia voiced. "But most of all, I was irritated with myself because I had missed every opportunity to get to know you better. I even tried to find out where you went so we could stay in communication. But once you left, it was as if you disappeared from the Terran system completely." B'Elanna realized that her assumption wasn't too far from the truth. Once she left the Academy, she took a transport to Kessik IV to see her mother, and while she was there, she met the first of many Maquis. She began to regard them as family, and as her heart yearned to help her new found friends, she decided to join them in their freedom fight. She thought of the Trill on many occasions and never thought that she would ever run into her again. In a way, she was glad Jadzia caught her. Peering into azure eyes, she asked, "So can I assume that you had your eye on me as well back then?" Both women were facing one another now, sitting intimately close. A noticeable quiet filled the room and B'Elanna waited patiently, feeling some anticipation of what Jadzia's next words would be. The sexual encounters she had in her espionage dealings were considered work, and were done strictly for the cause. It had absolutely nothing to do with her personal desires. No one had been able to penetrate the barriers she had set around her heart - she couldn't afford to let anyone do that. It had unfortunately left her with a hollow feeling inside. But Jadzia had turned out to be much more than she had expected and after the past few grueling months, she wanted nothing more than to indulge herself in the woman that sat across from her. She hoped that Jadzia's feelings were mutual. "Why don't I show you just how deeply my feelings were for you then - and are for you now." Jadzia replied. Her hand found the side of B'Elanna's face as she placed a tentative kiss on her full lips. It was slow, at first, turning more sensual as it continued. Jadzia's tongue lightly brushed across B'Elanna's lips causing her to moan. Then Jadzia pulled away from her and kissed her way toward her ears, caressing them with her lips, then down to leave a trail of kisses on her neck. By now, B'Elanna's arms were wrapped around Jadzia, touching her back through the bathrobe with her fingertips. Her lips and tongue were like liquid heat and she felt her body responding to Jadzia's touch. "Oh my," she whispered just before Jadzia's claimed her mouth once again. B'Elanna's lips parted voluntarily, and accepted gratefully her soon to be lover's request to explore her delicious orifice with her tongue. The taste of her was such that B'Elanna wondered how she could have lived so long without such intimate contact. Jadzia found herself falling fast. Emotions that she hadn't felt for years began to swell within her as she held the young woman in her arms. She could feel B'Elanna's persistent hands, stroking the sensitive spots that cascaded down her spine and felt a surge of arousal with every touch. Pulling away from her once more, she proceeded to the other ear, and whispered, "I want you, B'Elanna. I want to make love with you." B'Elanna's response was nothing less than favorable. "Yes." she said and moved to face her lover. Jadzia's eyes were so dilated as a result their necking that they appeared navy in color. "I want you too." Then taking Jadzia's face in her hands, she kissed her ardently, showing her earnest desire for the other woman. She felt Jadzia's hands move to her shoulders and slip underneath the jacket, pushing it off of her upper body. B'Elanna took the hint and breaking contact for just a moment, pulled her arms out of the jacket and let it fall to the sofa. B'Elanna's hunger for Jadzia was rising with every passing moment. She took hold of Jadzia's left hand and brought it up so that her wrist was in front of her nostrils. She inhaled deeply the aroma of pheromones given off at this particular pulse point, moving slowly up her arm as she did. A low growl could be heard as the Klingon gradually advanced up the length of the Trill's arm until she moved to her neck. There, she continued to breathe in the other woman's scent, sensually moving from one side of her neck, underneath her chin to the other side and back. Her lover's breath quickening only succeeded in fueling the fire to her own longing, and when she stopped to gaze into the azure blue eyes, she found herself kissing Jadzia once more with what seemed to be renewed passion. Jadzia's hands were now on B'Elanna's waist, tugging her shirt out of her pants. She felt another surge of desire as B'Elanna proceeded to undo the belt that held close the bathrobe she was wearing. Without breaking yet another series of hungry kisses, Jadzia let her fingertips roam the silken skin underneath B'Elanna's shirt. Reaching around to her back, she easily undid the clasp to B'Elanna's bra and pulled away from her lover long enough to pull the shirt over her head and the bra from her arms. Then she embraced B'Elanna once again, kissing her with a fervor she didn't know she possessed. B'Elanna caressed the skin hidden by the robe Jadzia wore, stroking her hands across taut nipples, then gently squeezing the mounds of supple flesh as Jadzia devoured her neck. "Kahless, " she gasped. Jadzia's persistent lips and hands were making it nearly impossible to think let alone speak, but somehow B'Elanna found her voice and said, "Why don't we move this to the bedroom?" Jadzia pulled back from B'Elanna and blushed furiously. Unable to resist touching B'Elanna, she continued to stroke her strong arms as she said, "I guess I was a little overly zealous." Chuckling slightly, B'Elanna replied, "Me too, but I think we'll be more comfortable in there." Jadzia dropped her hands and gazed down into her lap for a moment, the reality of what she was about to do crashing in on her. "I've never done anything like this before," she admitted shyly, "I've never met anyone as captivating as you are." Pausing briefly she looked up into B'Elanna's soft brown eyes and said, "If we're moving too fast for you, we don't have to do this." B'Elanna's lip curled up on one side showing indication of a smirk as she replied, "You're kidding, right?" When Jadzia's expression didn't change, B'Elanna realized that she was indeed serious. It warmed her heart that Jadzia cared and respected her enough to consider how she might feel before they went too far. With sincerity in her eyes, she took a deep breath and said, "I'm not in the habit of bedding someone this quickly either, but I want this, need this, just as much - maybe even more than you do." Relief flooding her entire being, Jadzia grinned and got up from the sofa. With the robe revealing just a hint of her nakedness, Jadzia held out her hand for B'Elanna. She took the offered hand, and after she stood, Jadzia drew her into an embrace and resumed kissing B'Elanna's luscious lips as she guided her toward the bedroom. When they were inside, Jadzia reluctantly pulled away and took one step back, letting the robe she was wearing slide off of her shoulders and arms, then onto the floor. Never taking her eyes off the young Klingon woman, she unhurriedly crawled over the bed then lay in the middle of it, with an arm placed behind her head and her left leg bent at the knee. As B'Elanna's eyes roamed her beautifully nude body, she said, "Aren't you a little over dressed?" Jadzia was an exquisite site to behold, and B'Elanna could not remember seeing anything as beautiful before in her life. The intricate markings native to her heritage cascaded past her collarbone and further down the side of her curvy silhouette. Those marks were dark from arousal left no doubt that Jadzia wanted this as much as she did. Her breasts were full with rosy pink nipples and her shapely hips and smooth skin made B'Elanna want to investigate every inch of them with her tongue. "You're right, I am overdressed." B'Elanna replied, and began removing the rest of her clothing. With sultry eyes, Jadzia watched with increasing excitement as B'Elanna undid the clasp to her slacks pushed them slowly past her hips and legs, then stepped out of them. B'Elanna had an athlete's body - muscled arms and legs like those of a dancer, with curvy hips and rounded full breasts all covered in golden skin. Jadzia wanted to feel that stunning body against hers - wanted to watch as that golden skin flushed with arousal at her hands. She wanted B'Elanna in the worst way and she couldn't remember feeling so stimulated by anyone else she had been with in her lifetimes. Her eyes never left B'Elanna as the young woman moved sensually over her body and rested between her legs. Pressing her hips against Jadzia's, B'Elanna peered deeply into her eyes and said, "You're so amazing to me." Then she kissed her with a renewed yearning. They lay there, expressing their longing for one another through passion filled kisses. The fire continued to burn between them as B'Elanna left Jadzia's mouth to survey her body. Kissing her way toward her left ear, she moved the tip of her tongue around it, discovering every contour and crevice causing Jadzia to gasp with pleasure. Then she kissed her way down the trail of spots cascading her neck, which caused such a favorable reaction she wondered if she had found an erogenous zone. Testing her theory, she paused for just a moment to suck on the tender flesh and was rewarded with the sound of an outcry of pleasure from her lover. She had assumed correctly. Filing this new information in her mental rolodex for further investigation, she continued on her journey until she found a taut nipple. She sucked the nipple into her mouth, then stroked it slowly and redundantly with her tongue as she felt Jadzia's fingers thread through her hair, silently encouraging her in her ministrations. "Oh my," Jadzia sighed. Every lick of B'Elanna's tongue sent a strong throb through her center and her hips began to rise and fall against B'Elanna's pelvis. And just as she thought that she couldn't get any more turned on, B'Elanna moved to the other breast, which seemed impossibly more sensitive than the first. As she sucked the hard nub into her mouth and lapped at it repeatedly, Jadzia moaned, "Oh my god this is so good." B'Elanna grinned around the nipple then moved down, kissing a wet trail toward Jadzia's abdomen, then going lower until she was kissing the inside of her lover's thighs. With her Klingon senses, she could smell her lover's arousal back when they were in the living area. Now, the scent was multiplied and it nearly drove B'Elanna crazy with want. Jadzia's vulva was covered with fine dark hairs and B'Elanna used her fingers to part the lips so she could see the supple pink flesh beneath. It was warm, and wet, and extremely inviting. B'Elanna couldn't wait any longer and said with a velvety voice, "I want to taste you." "Then do it!" Jadzia urgently demanded. B'Elanna spread Jadzia's legs open so she could see and touch as much as humanly possible, then began licking the sensitive flesh. It was so soft to her tongue, and tasted incredible. She licked her in a circular pattern at first, then stroked the throbbing flesh with her tongue from top to bottom, tasting her sweet nectar as she did. Jadzia's hips undulated in time with her intimate caress, and B'Elanna found herself grabbing the woman's thighs and pulling her impossibly closer, as if anything less wouldn't be enough. Jadzia couldn't believe what she was feeling. She had been with females before, but never in her life had she been with someone who was so thorough with their lovemaking. It was as if she knew exactly what to do in order to elicit the most pleasurable of responses out of her partner. "Oh my god," she sighed, "It's so good, your tongue is so soft..." She whispered, knowing full well that B'Elanna could hear her every word. "Oh my, where did you learn..." but before she could finish the thought, she felt fingers fill her and a pleasure rush through her body that she couldn't explain. "Oh B'Elanna..." she gasped as the young woman pushed her fingers in and out of her body as she continued loving her with her mouth. She knew it wouldn't be long before her orgasm overtook her. She could feel it building, rising higher and higher. And as stars explode behind her eyelids, she gasped her lover's name. B'Elanna did not cease her actions until Jadzia was completely spent and lay limp on the bed. Then she moved up and settled next to her, watching as her orgasm began to subside. She was dazzling and looked extremely content which brought a smile to B'Elanna's lips. It was one of the most mind-blowing experiences that Dax had ever had in her life. As her breathing slowed and evened out, she was eventually able to make her vocal cords work. "Wow." B'Elanna giggled. "I take it you enjoyed yourself?" "That was..." she began, then said, "Oh my." Sighing heavily, she stretched leisurely as her ability to move returned. She turned over on her side to face her lover. Resting a hand on B'Elanna's cheek, she said, "You're the one who's amazing." B'Elanna blushed uncontrollably. She wasn't use to receiving complements, and before she could formulate a response, she was rolled over onto her back by an insistent Trill who seemed intent on kissing her into a quivering mass of mush. Jadzia lay on top of her new lover, losing herself in B'Elanna's luscious lips and reveling in the feel of her warm agile body beneath her. As she slowly ended the kiss, she gazed into the brown orbs for a long moment as she lightly brushed the back of her fingers across a strong cheekbone. "Now, B'Elanna Torres, I will do for you what you just did for me." For a moment, the young Klingon woman was speechless. Never before had anyone looked at her with such adoration. It never occurred to her that love could hit someone so quickly and with such force. But what she was seeing in Jadzia's eyes, even though the Trill gave no verbal indication, was love - pure and simple. It frightened her because she knew that she could fall for Dax just as easily. But because of their differences, B'Elanna felt that she shouldn't allow anything more to come of their encounter than it was right now. "Jadzia, I know you're tired. You don't have to..." Jadzia cut her off with a slow kiss, then said, "I know I don't have to, but I want to, and I need this, B'Elanna..." Then she proceeded to show her just how urgent the need to please her was. Their coupling lasted well into the night, both concentrating only on the other and not what the future would bring. --- Jadzia woke up to a cold spot where the young woman used to be. She closed her eyes as the reality that she was gone sunk in and she felt sadness mixed with regret and despair at the situation. She thought for sure that there was more to their encounter than just a one-night stand. She saw the way B'Elanna looked at her and responded to her touches and words of endearment. It couldn't have been meaningless. But before she could entertain the thought that maybe it was for the best, she heard the shower turn on, and relief flooded through her like a shock wave. B'Elanna stepped out of the shower, drying off with one of the towels that hung in the bathroom. She smiled as she thought of the incredible night she had before. It wasn't often that she had an intimate encounter with a woman as fine as Jadzia Dax. She finished drying herself and moved back to the bathroom where her lover still lay in the bed with her back facing her. Climbing under the covers, she spooned behind Jadzia and wrapped her arm possessively around her waist. B'Elanna heard a deep sigh from the young woman and grinned inwardly when Jadzia snuggled in closer to her. Without turning over, Jadzia began speaking her fears. "When I woke up and saw you weren't here, I thought you had left." "I had to use the bathroom and decided to take a shower afterward." B'Elanna replied lazily. B'Elanna's original intent when she first woke up was to get dressed and leave as quickly as possible. She had planned to leave a note for Jadzia thanking her for a lovely evening and the use of her comm. system. But as she got out of bed and entered the bathroom, she just couldn't go through with it. She longed more than anything to spend as much time as possible with the amazing creature known as Jadzia Dax. Jadzia turned her body so she was facing her lover. She looked so beautiful with her hair damp after her shower. She smelled fresh, clean, and her skin still had that silky soft feel that she couldn't get enough of. Her hands leisurely caressed B'Elanna's breasts, reveling in their suppleness and their sensitivity. "You said you'd only be here for three more days. Where were you going to stay?" Closing her eyes in enjoyment of the touches she received, she replied, "I was going to camp out in my shuttle." She still had to pay Quark before she could leave. The complete shipment wouldn't be ready for the next three days as the supplies had to be loaded on her shuttle via transporter. This had to be done simultaneously with other supplies from other vessels coming into DS9 in order to avoid detection by the station sensors. Then once she was cleared for departure, she was to rendezvous with the Crazy Horse, where her captain, a former Starfleet officer named Chakotay would be waiting in a designated area in the bad lands. "Why do you ask?" "Well, why don't you stay here with me?" Jadzia asked. "I have the next three days off and I would love to show you Bajor." Smiling, B'Elanna briefly considered Jadzia's request. She knew that she couldn't do anything else until her supplies had been secured. The last of the supplies would be transported by 0800 hours on the day she was scheduled to depart. She didn't see any reason why she couldn't spend some quality time with the lovely Trill. "I'd love too." "Great!" Jadzia replied grinning. "I'm going to take a shower and then we can go to the Promenade for some breakfast. After that, I'll make arrangements to get a shuttle and we'll be on our way." Then she kissed B'Elanna gently on her forehead and got out of bed. B'Elanna waited for the water to turn on and when she was sure Jadzia couldn't hear her, she got up and retrieved a data chip from her jacket pocket. The chip contained vital information on a secret base that the Cardassians were utilizing to build new and improved weapons. These weapons were rumored to be extremely brutal, and were supposed to be used to control the colonies on planets within their space. It was their hope that they could make an example out of these people in the hopes to end the resistance known as the Maquis. With this data, the Maquis would have an advantage and most likely, with the element of surprise on their side, be able to destroy the base before the Cardassians could do any real damage. She inserted the chip into the slot of the comm. system, and attached the info on it to an encrypted message. Then using her covert operations skills, she piggybacked the message on an outgoing message toward the last known coordinates of the Crazy Horse. Just as the message had been sent, Jadzia shut off the water in the shower. B'Elanna removed the chip and placed it back in her jacket pocket, then quickly and quietly returned to bed, pulling the sheet over her naked body. When Jadzia emerged from the bathroom, it was as if B'Elanna had never moved. She watched as B'Elanna's eyes roamed her nude body and flushed slightly at the close scrutiny. "Why don't we skip breakfast?" B'Elanna asked with a sultry grin. "You're not hungry?" "I'm hungry for you. I want you to make love to me again." Then she threw the sheet off of herself and stretched her lithe body invitingly. Jadzia dropped the towel she had in her hand and swiftly climbed into bed on top of the sexy Klingon woman. Her vulva pulsated with anticipation as she began kissing and caressing the bronze body beneath her. "You're incredible," she whispered between kisses. "I just can't get enough of you." Then with a feral gleam in her eyes, she grabbed her lover by the wrists, holding them on either side of her. "I intend to have my way with you, B'Elanna Torres." "Then have it, Jadzia." B'Elanna replied. Jadzia needed no further convincing. She released B'Elanna's arms and began massaging her breasts, kneading them gently at first, then with more urgency as the heat of her passion began to rise within her. She kissed the space between them, gently pushing them together so she could feel the soft mounds press against her face. Her lover's chest began to rise and fall at the erotic rub down that Jadzia performed, and when Jadzia's tongue ran across the nipples, she took great pleasure at how rapidly they swelled and the low growls of appreciation coming from her lover. Moving down, she kissed a wet trail toward her torso, past her stomach, until she was between B'Elanna's legs. Using her fingers, she separated the soft folds, and proceeded to make love to B'Elanna in a way she had only dreamed about. It was the first time that B'Elanna allowed anyone to perform oral sex on her and she was nearly shocked at the pleasure it brought about. "Kahless, sweet Kahless..." she hissed as she felt the soft tongue caress her center. It was so incredible that she lifted her legs, pulling them toward her chest so she could be completely open to her lover. "Oh my God," she moaned, then inhaled sharply as she felt fingers enter her at the same time Jadzia licked her swollen clitoris. Jadzia was in heaven. B'Elanna was so responsive and tasted so incredible. She loved pleasuring her this way. As her lover's hips began to gyrate she could feel her inner walls getting tighter and tighter against her fingers. She continued licking her until finally B'Elanna's muscles contracted so forcefully that she though her fingers might be broken if she moved them any more. At B'Elanna's scream of ecstasy she felt a warmth spill over her fingers and part of her hand as she continued making love to her. Seconds later, B'Elanna reached down and gestured for Jadzia to come up where she was on the bed. Moving back up to face B'Elanna, she watched for a moment as the woman's breathing began to slow. Then B'Elanna immediately moved into her arms, kissing her lips with such vigor that it nearly implied possession. "That was remarkable." B'Elanna said when she pulled away and looked into Jadzia's azure eyes. "I never thought it would feel like that." Jadzia realized what B'Elanna was saying. She had never been loved like that by anyone, and it made her feel good that she was the first one. Her heart swelled uncontrollably and she knew at that moment that it was going to be very difficult to let this woman leave her. "I can't wait to get you to Bajor." She said smiling at her young lover. "Me too." B'Elanna replied and snuggled deeper into Jadzia's embrace. --- The shuttle breached Bajor's atmosphere and Jadzia flew gracefully until she spotted the place that Kira told her about. After a virtually flawless landing, Jadzia got up from the pilot chair and grabbed B'Elanna's hand. "C'mon, I think you'll like this place." Smiling at Dax's eagerness to please her, she knew that it wouldn't take much for her to fall in love with the Trill. She watched as Jadzia punched the keypad that released the hatch then she followed her out into the open. The view was absolutely breathtaking. They were standing just outside of one of the most stunning resorts she had ever seen. The building looked almost like a ancient Terran castle. There had to be at least 4 wings to it, each one with a balcony large enough to accommodate a king sized bed. The landscape was beautifully maintained - trimmed plush blue-green grass, with beds of flowers that were native to the planet. Brilliant colors of gold, purple, red and blue grew from nearly every corner of the front of the building, and the scent of the flowers made you want to just stand there and inhale for hours. "It's so beautiful here," B'Elanna said in awe, "Where did you ever find a place like this?" "A friend of mine told me about it." Jadzia said as they started walking to the entrance of the stunning home. "She's very good friends with a man who owns the property. I told her that I wanted to get away for a while with someone very special and she arranged for us to stay here." "Remind me to thank your friend later." B'Elanna said. She watched as other couples wondered about the grounds, enjoying the scenery and the many outdoor games and activities taking place. "I never expected anything like this." Once inside, Jadzia went to the desk to check them in, while B'Elanna continued to appreciate the beauty all around her. The lobby was absolutely breathtaking with its black marble floors and baseboards trimmed in gold. Beautifully designed glass chandeliers hung from various positions in the ceiling and the sunlight poured in through tall oval shaped glass windows. An attendant led them to their room, which was nothing short of colossal with a four-poster king-sized bed. Silky shear fabric of pastel colors - purple, blue, yellow, pink and red were draped expressively over the top panels of the bed, and the mattress was dressed in a soft downy white comforter with enough pillows to allow at least four people to sit propped up comfortably if they wished. The carpet was a soft plush burgundy, with a slew of Bajoran symbols woven into it at the corners of the room. The bed faced a large window covered by a velvet burgundy drape. Jadzia walked over to the window and pressed a panel that was hidden just behind the thick window treatment. As a result, the drapes parted to reveal a large terrace with the most magnificent view of a private beach. On the left side of the room was a small table with two chairs, a comm. panel in the wall, and a replicator about 6 inches next to it. Next to that there was another door. B'Elanna walked toward the door and it swished open to reveal a gorgeous bathroom with faucets made of pure latinum including the shower sprays, six in all, that were placed strategically as to allow the user to feel the warmth of the water spraying them from every direction. "Jadzia, this place is lovely." B'Elanna replied, touched that she would bring her to such an exquisite place. Jadzia, very pleased with her decision to visit the resort, pounced on the bed testing the softness. "So, what would you like to do now?" Jadzia asked. "It's been so long since I've been planet side, I think I'd love to go take a swim, then lay in the sun before it gets dark." "We've got all day, baby. It's just morning, you know." Jadzia replied smiling. She thought of B'Elanna's earlier words about not being planet side for so long and said, "I never did ask you what kind of work you do." B'Elanna was afraid that this moment would come. With her feelings for Dax growing at an expedient rate, she hated to lie to her. But she knew that if she didn't, she would risk going to prison. "I just do odd jobs - mostly I provide transportation to people for a small fee." She lied. "Oh." She replied. Dax wasn't naïve, nor was she buying B'Elanna's story for one minute. She realized that B'Elanna was being very vague about what she did. She thought that maybe B'Elanna was ashamed of the fact that she gave up such a promising career in Starfleet to do little of nothing. So she didn't press the issue. Everyone was entitled to privacy, and if B'Elanna wanted to keep it a secret what she did, then so be it. Dax figured and hoped that in time, B'Elanna would feel comfortable enough to share everything with her. "Well go ahead and change." Dax said as she headed over to their bags that sat in the corner of the room. As Jadzia began removing her clothing, B'Elanna sheepishly replied, "I forgot. I don't have a suit." In her eagerness to go swimming she forgot that she didn't have the proper garment to swim in. Jadzia just smiled at her and said, "Then replicate one. We have free reign here for the next three days. Replicate anything you like." Then she removed her bra and panties, and in a shy yet seductive manner, picked up her bathing suit and moved into the bathroom out of B'Elanna's site. B'Elanna licked her lips as her eyes followed Jadzia until she saw her curvy backside disappear into the bathroom. "And she's mine for the next three days." She thought out loud as she walked toward the replicator. Giving the commands to the computer, it hummed for a few seconds then presented a simple, full bodice black bathing suit. The straps were held to the bodice with gold hoops, and when B'Elanna put it on and looked in the mirror, she was very pleased with her appearance. Jadzia emerged from the bathroom carrying two towels and wearing a two-piece suit, royal blue trimmed in black. And although it wasn't quite as sparse as a bikini, she looked very sexy wearing it. "Well, let's go." Dax said while taking hold of B'Elanna's hand. The sun was very warm and inviting. Both women spread their towels on the beach then laughing, ran into cool water. After a few minutes of swimming and playing, Torres and Dax both returned to the beach, lying on their towels. Jadzia was rubbing sunscreen on her skin to protect it from the strong rays of the sun as B'Elanna stretched out languidly on her towel and enjoyed the warmth. Klingon's rarely sunburned and were naturally more comfortable in warmer climates so she didn't need any sunscreen. Trills, however, had very sensitive skin and were more comfortable in colder climates. Even though it was not uncomfortably warm on the beach, she still needed the extra help to protect her skin. As Dax applied the necessary sunscreen, she watched as B'Elanna closed her eyes and enjoyed the warmth on her skin. She couldn't help but notice again, how beautiful and extremely alluring B'Elanna was. "So, why did you leave the academy?" She asked, wanting to learn as much about the woman she was slowly falling for. B'Elanna sighed and with her eyes remaining closed she said, "It was a mutual decision between myself and Starfleet. In their words, I was too... hostile. They felt that I lacked the discipline necessary to be a good Starfleet officer." Revealing this made self-repressed memories of their rejection of her return to the surface. She had been hurt by that, more so than she was willing to admit. Because she was half Klingon, her more aggressive nature surfaced more often than wanted - a reason that she sometimes wished that she was full human. Unfortunately for her, the old prejudices that Terrans had against Klingons didn't help. Many of the cadets at the academy went out of their way to make her feel inferior, and before she could stop it at times, she would lash back the only way she knew how - assertively and sometimes violently. Dax could see the discomfort in her expression. "I'm sorry." "Hey, don't be. I've come to terms with it." B'Elanna replied nonchalantly. "So do you transport anything else when you work? Besides people just wanting a ride, I mean?" She was doing it again. Treading in areas that she really shouldn't. B'Elanna was still not ready to reveal to Jadzia that she was Maquis. She didn't want to ruin what the two of them seemed to be developing by telling her that. "Sometimes I transport medical supplies but that's about it." She replied, hopefully ending her lover's questions. "Hey, I'm hungry. Want to get something to eat?" "Sure." Jadzia answered grinning. Before B'Elanna could get up from the sandy ground, she rolled over her covering her body with her own. B'Elanna's arms naturally wrapped around her as Jadzia said "When was the last time I kissed you?" B'Elanna thought playfully for a moment, then said, "Oh... not since forever. " "Forever?" Jadzia replied in mock anger. "Well it feels like it." B'Elanna softly ran her hands across Jadzia's back. "So? Are you going to make me wait any longer?" Dax's smile slowly faded into a soft grin as she used her fingers to gently brush back the hair that threatened to fall in B'Elanna's eyes. Noting the change in Jadzia's demeanor, B'Elanna asked, "What is it?" "Do you believe in love at first sight?" Jadzia asked as she gently caressed B'Elanna's cheek with her thumb. B'Elanna was nearly stunned, for she knew in an off-handed sort of way Jadzia just told her that she loved her. For a moment she didn't know what to say. Jadzia had unknowingly swept her off of her feet and she had never felt this strongly for anyone before. She had it so bad, that she desperately wanted to keep the fact that she was Maquis a secret. Not because she feared going to prison, or death, but because she feared losing what she had so recently found in Jadzia Dax. Dax took B'Elanna's silence as a rejection. "It's alright. I'm sorry I..." "No, no." B'Elanna cut her off. "I'm mean, yes. I do believe that you can meet someone and fall for them almost immediately." Relief was evident in Dax's blue eyes. Then she kissed the young woman in her arms. The kiss was unhurried and undemanding - meant to portray all that she was feeling for B'Elanna. --- The rest of their vacation was absolutely wonderful. On warm nights, they took long walks together in the moonlight, and when it was too cool to go outside after dark, they lay in the large bed, staring out the window at the stars and talking about their past lives as well as their hopes and dreams of the future. There last night on the planet, they had come in from taking a walk along the beach. Their walk had been cut short when the temperature dropped unexpectedly and B'Elanna had become chilled. Once inside their room, B'Elanna went to take a shower, hoping that it would warm her up. Jadzia decided that she would check her messages while B'Elanna showered. She sat down in front of the comm. panel, noticing that she had a message from Captain Sisko to call her when she returned. After pressing a few buttons on the panel she was looking at the smiling face of one of her closest friends. "Hey Ben, how are you?" "I'm fine. Enjoying your stay on Bajor?" He asked smiling. "Oh yeah." She replied. "B'Elanna is so wonderful, Ben. I hate that she has to leave tomorrow. I was thinking about asking her if she could stay a little longer." Ben saw the twinkle in his friend's eyes as she spoke of her new lover. The last time he saw that look in Dax's eyes, he was Curzon, and he had fallen head over heals in love with a woman he had met on Telacus V during a diplomatic function. "You're in love with her, aren't you?" "Am I that obvious?" Dax asked sheepishly. "Yes you are." Ben replied playfully. "Where is she right now?" "She's taking a shower. Why?" Ben's expression changed as he said, "Jadzia, how much do you know about her?" "I know enough," she lied, wondering what her friend was getting at. "Why? What's the problem?" "It's nothing. I'd just hate to see you get hurt that's all. What did you say her last name was?" "It's Torres." For some reason the name 'B'Elanna Torres' sounded very familiar to him and it filled him with apprehension. He couldn't figure out why it did, or why hearing that name made him want to guard his friend's feelings. Writing it off as him being overly protective, he said, "You always had a thing for Klingon's didn't you old man?" Relaxing a bit, Jadzia answered, "You know me too well, Benjamin." "Well, enjoy your last night on the surface Dax." "I will, Ben. See you tomorrow." Then she cut the comm. signal. Deciding not to dwell on Benjamin's odd behavior too much, she stripped out of her clothes and removed the pin that held her long hair into place. Then she quietly slipped into the bathroom, gently pulled back the curtain and stepped into the shower, wrapping her arms around her lover. "I missed you." She whispered as B'Elanna relaxed into her embrace. "I missed you too." B'Elanna replied as Jadzia ran her hands along her soapy body. She slowly caressed her slippery breasts, the hardened nipples gliding between her fingers easily, which caused B'Elanna to growl softly. Jadzia knew by the sound of her lover growling that B'Elanna's arousal was rising. She kissed her neck then moved to her ears where she stroked them lavishly with her tongue. B'Elanna dropped the soap and washcloth she had been holding and raised her arms up and over her head, resting them firmly around her lover's neck and shoulders. As Jadzia continued to kiss her neck and caress her body, one hand stroked a hard nipple as the other traveled down her front and in between her legs. Then as her own passion began to climb, she did something that shocked both of them - she bit B'Elanna's shoulder, her teeth sinking into the soft tissue. Afterward she kissed and licked the tender flesh, tasting her Klingon blood for the first time. B'Elanna gasped at the sensation of unexpected pain and the hand caressing her vulva. Jadzia's expert fingers, now wet with her juices, found her clitoris and stroked it lovingly. "Do you have any idea what you do to me?" Jadzia whispered in her ear as she continued to rub B'Elanna's center. When B'Elanna didn't answer, Jadzia turned her around to face her. "Let me show you." Then taking B'Elanna's hand, she moved it in between her own legs and pressed her fingers into it so she could feel her wetness. "That's what you do to me, and more. So much more." Then she kissed her once more, her tongue entering her lover's mouth. B'Elanna was so filled with desire that she forcefully turned her lover so that Jadzia's was facing the shower wall. Then she kissed and sucked her neck, working her way down to her shoulder. In a fit of Klingon passion, she bit Jadzia as well, causing the other woman to gasp at the pain. The metallic taste of her blood caused an awakening within her - one that she never thought she would have the opportunity to experience. Then turning her lover once more and lowering herself on her knees, she placed one of Jadzia's legs over her shoulder and inhaled deeply the smell of her lover's sex. Using her hands to part the lips, she saw the pink silky skin underneath, and her mouth watered at the site. "Beautiful," was the last word she spoke before tasting the inviting flesh. "Oh my God," Jadzia whispered as her eyes closed and her head rested against the shower wall. The feeling of B'Elanna's tongue on her center was remarkable to her every time she felt it. The mist from the shower was light and warm on their skin. B'Elanna moaned in pleasure as she lapped at the silky softness, and Jadzia lowered her head so she could see what B'Elanna was doing. It was extremely erotic observing her lover as she pleasured her with her mouth. Watching her combined with the feel of the warm tongue stroking her most intimate place, brought her closer and closer to her orgasm. She could feel it building from deep within her, and her legs began to tremble with the intensity. "Oh... yes, yes, yes! She moaned as her orgasm rushed through her with a force so strong it threatened to overtake her. B'Elanna gripped Jadzia's legs, holding her steady as she rode out the incredible climax. It was inconceivable that anyone could taste so good and feel so right when she was with them. B'Elanna finally stopped when she felt Jadzia's body suddenly relax. She stood up, allowing the mist from one of the showerheads to rinse her face and body off, then she turned and pressed herself into her lover's body as she leaned against the wall. "I love you, Jadzia Dax." She uttered with conviction and without waiting for a response kissed her deeply as if her life depended on it. Jadzia wrapped her arms around her lover and returned the kiss with equal fever. Then as their passion slowed down, B'Elanna reached for the washcloth and soap she dropped earlier. After she built up a good amount of lather on the cloth, she used it to wash Jadzia. First she washed her neck and shoulders, working her way down toward her arms and chest. She gently glided the washcloth across the voluptuous mounds, enjoying how the nipples rose to her caresses. Jadzia couldn't remember the last time that someone had taken care of her so well and with seemingly so much care. At B'Elanna's gentle nudges, she spread her legs apart and her lover gently cleaned the skin between her thighs, and legs, working her way all the way down to her feet. Then Jadzia felt warm hands urge her to turn around so that she was facing the shower wall. When she did, she felt the washcloth softly scrub her back, again working it's way down. “Mmm... that feels wonderful." She moaned as she felt herself relax further. Soon B'Elanna finished cleaning her lover and used her hands to help the water rinse the soap away from Jadzia's body. Jadzia shut off the showerheads, then grabbed two thick towels, handing one to B'Elanna. They dried one another off then walked into the bedroom. After ordering the lights up to 80 percent, B'Elanna checked the chronometer and was surprised to find that it was 2230 hours. "I didn't know it was so late." "It's not that late," Jadzia replied. With her desire renewed, she grabbed B'Elanna, semi-roughly pulling her close. "Any ideas what we can do next?" she asked with a feral gleam in her eyes. Then she grasped the back of her hair and gently pulled it causing her lover to gasp in pleasure. "I'm sure we can think of something." B'Elanna replied breathily. Jadzia, without letting go of B'Elanna's lovely mane, maneuvered her toward and on the bed, then lay on top of her, kissing and touching her picturesque brown skin. B'Elanna was somehow able to notice that the lights were still on in the room. As Jadzia continued to kiss and suck softly on her neck, she managed to find her voice and said, "Computer, lights out." "Belay that order." Jadzia replied and the lights stayed on. Gazing in to deep brown eyes, she said, "I want to see you when we make love." Then she kissed her once more. B'Elanna found it nearly inconceivable that her body responded so favorably to this woman. Their sexual chemistry was perfect - as if they were made solely for each other. She felt Jadzia's hands move between her legs, seeking out the warm wetness there. When Jadzia's fingers began to stroke her clitoris, the fire within her burned out of control. With her Klingon strength, she attempted to flip Jadzia over so she could take control of their coupling, but Jadzia was having none of that. "No." she demanded, pinning her arms against the bed. "It's my turn." "Then take me," B'Elanna growled with hunger in her eyes. "Take me now!" Returning her hand between B'Elanna's legs, Jadzia pushed two fingers inside her and watched her lover's face contort in ecstasy as her back arched and she cried out. "Look at me," Jadzia ordered. Breathing heavily, she did as Jadzia asked. "What?" she asked her voice throaty and insistent. Jadzia slowly pushed her fingers in and pulled them out once. "Who do you belong to?" "You," she sighed as Jadzia duplicated the stroke her fingers made. "Say it again." Jadzia demanded, pushing them in deeply once more. "You!" she growled as she pushed against the invading fingers, "I'm yours!" "Yes, mine," and as Dax repeatedly plunged in and out of her, she latched on to one of B'Elanna's nipples, alternating between biting and sucking which she had found that her lover enjoyed extremely. "Yesss" she hissed as she felt Jadzia's thumb began to rub her swollen clitoris. Her hips began a sensual rhythm, gyrating to the insistent touch and Dax knew her climax was nearing. Jadzia felt her inner walls begin to tense and tighten around her fingers, as she kissed her mouth, plunging her tongue deep inside. She moaned in spite of Jadzia's assault on her mouth then pulled away, shouting as her orgasm claimed her. Dax continued massaging her until she was completely spent and fell limp on the bed. Jadzia removed her fingers and moved to lie next to B'Elanna. Immediately, the Klingon woman was in her arms, murmuring terms of endearment. After a few moments Jadzia moved so that she was face to face with her lover. "B'Elanna?" she asked and waited until her lover had opened her eyes. Gently caressing her lovely cranial ridges, she said, "You are the most remarkable person I've ever known. You're sweet and gentle, and I love you with all my heart." No one had ever touched her ridges before - much less touched them while proclaiming their love for her. It was such a simple and unexpected act of affection, that it brought unshed tears to her eyes. "I never thought I would ever find someone like you." And she meant every word. What started as a lustful affair had turned into a love so deep it threatened to consume them both. B'Elanna took hold of Jadzia's hand and placing it over her heart uttered one word, "jiH doc!" Jadzia never, in her wildest dreams, expected B'Elanna to declare total devotion to her, but she did. And because Jadzia loved her so much, her heart left her with no other choice. "Maj doc," she whispered with tears glistening in her own eyes as she placed B'Elanna's hand over her own heart. "We are one heart now, Jadzia Dax, and I love you too." B'Elanna said with conviction. Then, after one last kiss, their fatigue caught up with them, and both fell into a contented sleep. --- The next morning, the two women reluctantly packed their things and loaded them into the shuttle. After the last bag was placed inside B'Elanna stood outside and took one last look at the view of the beach while Jadzia went inside to make sure they didn't leave anything and to check out. After a few minutes, Jadzia returned finding B'Elanna still staring at the view. She stepped up behind her and wrapped her arms around the small waist. B'Elanna leaned into her lover's embrace and said, "I'm really going to miss this place." "Me too. Hey, if you want, the next time you come to the station, we can come back here. Kira still owes me a favor or two so I'll be able to arrange it." B'Elanna smiled weakly and replied, "I'd like that," knowing that she may never even see Jadzia again once she told her that she was Maquis. B'Elanna thought about it the entire time that they were there and decided after their last night together that she would tell Dax the truth about herself. B'Elanna loved Jadzia and she didn't want to be dishonest with her. /Love makes you do crazy things/ was her last thought as they both turned and boarded the shuttle. When they reached the station they were unloading their bags, when Captain Sisko inadvertently called Dax to his office. "Promise me you'll come see me before you leave." She said while pulling B'Elanna close to her. "I promise." B'Elanna replied, then kissed her lover softly before letting her go. As she watched Jadzia exit the shuttle bay, she grabbed her bag and walked the few steps to her own shuttle. When she opened the rear hatch she was pleased to find that the much needed medical supplies and weapons were there as promised. Smiling, she closed the hatch behind her and left her bag on the shuttle deck. Then she moved toward the front of the shuttle, stopping near one of the cots and shoving it out of the way. Removing a loose metal plate from the wall, she revealed a small hole in the titanium. She reached inside and pulled out a small brown bag containing the latinum that she promised to give Quark once the deal was complete. Placing it in her inside jacket pocket, she left her shuttle, secured it by placing a dampening field around it so the contents could not be discovered, then set out in search of the little Ferengi. B'Elanna found him at one of the dabo tables with his arms wrapped around one of the girls who worked there. There was a group of individuals surrounding the table cheering as two people who played the game fought for winner status. She sidled up to Quark and whispered, "I think I have something you want." Quark turned to see who was speaking to him and when he noticed it was the Klingon woman he had made the deal with, smiled showing all of his pointed teeth. "Ahh my dear, I believe you do," he replied quietly. As the game played on and the noise grew louder and louder, no one noticed as she slipped her hand into her jacket and removed the small brown pouch. Then she took his hand and placed the pouch in it, closing his fingers around it. "It was a pleasure doing business with you." She said, and without a backward glance, turned and left, melting back into the crowd and virtually disappearing from his site. She had no idea that Lieutenant Dax had witnessed the whole exchange. --- Dax stood in her quarters, dressed in civilian clothes, staring out the view port in her living room. She was both angry and heartbroken by what she witnessed, and by what Benjamin had told her. Her door chime sounded startling her out of her thoughts. Turning toward the door she said, "Come." The door slid open to reveal B'Elanna. B'Elanna stepped inside and after a brief look around, moved to embrace her lover. That's when she saw the anger in her eyes. She stopped dead in her tracks, and peering into infuriated azure eyes she asked, "What's the matter?" "When were you going to tell me?" "Tell you what?" B'Elanna's heart sank to her stomach as the event she most hoped to avoid was about to unfold. "That you're Maquis?" Jadzia said. B'Elanna moved to sit on the sofa then took a great interest in a piece of fuzz on the floor. "I was going to tell you before I left. Obviously some else beat me to it." "So was all this - you and me, part of some plan for you to gain another sympathizer? Or were you naïve enough to believe that in the heat of passion I'd do something stupid like spout out station access codes?" She asked angrily. "No!" She replied honestly, almost outraged that Jadzia would even suggest it. "You planned this whole thing didn't you?" She accused. "No! I..." "Oh I know all about what it is that you do." Jadzia was at the beginnings of a rage as she continued with, "When Ben called me to his office he showed me a picture of you he pulled up in the station's database. You were in some dark dive having a conversation with a known Maquis criminal named Chakotay. He said that I should watch out - that even though the picture didn't prove much, that you might not be what you seemed. He said he searched the database for information about you and only came up with your past history at Starfleet and information on your mother. There was nothing to implicate you being a member of the Maquis." "So how did you find out?" B'Elanna asked, defeat evident in her voice. "When I came back here, I found this." She held up the data chip that B'Elanna had obtained with the information on the secret Cardassian base. It had slipped out of B'Elanna's jacket unnoticed shortly before they left for Bajor. "I scanned it with a tricorder and found traces of Quark's and your DNA all over it. Then I cracked the code you put on it and read its contents. No wonder you were paying him this morning." Jadzia as a result of her anger threw the data chip on the table as she waited for a response from B'Elanna. B'Elanna didn't see any reason to deny her lover's claims. But she desperately needed to clear the air about her feelings. "Jadzia, please you have to believe me when I say that my plans never included manipulating you." "Really?" Jadzia replied venomously. "I did some more digging and found out that not only are you chief engineer for this Chakotay, but you're also one of the top spies for the rebels! You go so far as to fuck anyone to get what you need for the Maquis. How am I supposed to believe that I wasn't just another pawn for you to manipulate? It was all a lie wasn't it? Wasn't it?" she shouted. "No!" She countered, "What I feel for you is real! You have to believe me." "I don't know what to believe anymore." Jadzia replied as tears began to stream down her face. She turned away from B'Elanna, unable to face her. "Jadzia please," she pleaded in desperation. "Okay, I'll admit that the chip is mine, and I'll even admit that sometimes I have to do less than honorable things to help my comrades. But running into you just threw a laser wrench into my whole program! Not because you were Starfleet, but because I fell for you. Totally and completely in love with you!" She replied, tears in her own eyes as she spoke. She moved to stand behind Dax and tentatively placed a hand on her shoulder. "Please Bangwi, you have to believe me!" Jadzia spoke fluent Klingon and gasped as she realized that B'Elanna had referred to her as her wife. "Bangwi? Why did you call me as that?" "Because to me, you are," B'Elanna replied, tears flowing from her eyes. "And I don't think I could bear it if you thought I was lying to you about how I feel!" She knew enough about Klingon's to know that they never would say the words of devotion that B'Elanna spoke to her the previous night unless they meant it. To do any less would be completely dishonorable. Turning, she gathered the woman in her arms and sighed when B'Elanna hugged her tightly in return. "You really do love me, don't you?" "Yes!" B'Elanna replied, her voice shaky as a result of her own tears. Pulling away from Jadzia, she placed her hand gently on the side of her face and said, "I would be incomplete without you!" "Oh my God, what are we going to do now?" Jadzia asked, still holding tightly to her lover. "Now that Benjamin knows who you are, it's only a matter of time before he finds out everything." "I know," B'Elanna said sniffing. "I have to leave, and I don't think I'll be able to come back." "Life is so unfair," Jadzia said as she pulled away from B'Elanna. "I just found you, only to have to let you go." "You could come with me." B'Elanna said, knowing that she wouldn't. "I can't, you know that. Just like you have responsibilities, so do I." Jadzia replied. At that moment, her door chime sounded. Jadzia's eyes went wide as she answered, "Who is it?" "It's Security Chief Odo, Lieutenant. May I speak with you for a moment?" "Just a minute." Turning to B'Elanna, she said, "Odo doesn't make house calls on official business unless he's on to something." "Damn-it." B'Elanna replied. "I have to go." Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a small square shaped device. Then she embraced Dax once more before grabbing the data chip that Jadzia threw on the table. "No matter what happens, know that I'll always love you, Bangwi." "I love you, my wife." Jadzia said, and kissed her deeply one last time. Jadzia watched as B'Elanna pressed a button on the small device and disappeared. Straightening her demeanor, Lieutenant Dax turned and commanded the door to open allowing Odo and a security team to enter. "And to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?" She asked pleasantly. "We had reason to believe that a Maquis spy was on the station. Do you know this woman?" Odo handed her a pad with a picture of B'Elanna in conversation with a very handsome dark haired man sporting a tattoo on his forehead. Jadzia took in a breath, letting it out slowly. "No. No I don't know her." She replied and returned the padd to Odo. --- Three years later.... --- Captain Kathryn Janeway, sat in her ready room on board the Starship Voyager. She had just finished a heartwarming conversation over the comm. system with her fiancé Mark and was going over the prearranged flight plan. Satisfied with it, she placed the pad on her desk and moved toward the replicator. "Coffee, black." She commanded, then took the steaming brew back to her desk. She had just sat down when the chime to her door rang. "Come in." Janeway found herself looking at a very beautiful officer of Trill decent. She stood at attention almost like a first year cadet which somewhat amused the Captain. Then she recognized the woman as the person that Captain Sisko introduced her to when the first docked at DS9. "Lieutenant Dax, right?" "Yes sir," Dax answered looking straight ahead. "Well what can I do for you, Lieutenant?" Janeway asked. "I've come to ask permission to accompany you on your mission." She replied. Dax had heard that Voyager was going after the notorious Captain Chakotay and was determined to come along. "I see. Has Captain Sisko given you permission?" Janeway inquired. "Yes he has, pending your decision of course, Captain." "Hmm." Janeway replied. She rose from her seat and walked around her desk to face the Lieutenant who stood so ridged before her. "At ease, Lieutenant." Jadzia relaxed her stance, as Janeway asked, "What is your motive for accompanying my crew on this mission? " "My reasons are of a... personal nature, Captain. And if you don't mind, I'd like to leave it at that for now." Jadzia replied sincerely. Janeway considered the Lieutenant's request. She knew that Lieutenant Dax had an exemplary record. She also knew that her reasons must have been very important to her. It wasn't everyday that the well-known Dax would ask to be included on a simple mission such as this. She didn't see any reason to decline her request. "Well, it just so happens, that our chief science officer was called away on a family emergency. I need someone to fill in for her while she's gone." Pausing briefly she continued with, "Permission to come aboard granted. I'll note it in the logs that effective today, you have been appointed acting Chief Science Officer on Voyager." "Thank you, Captain." Jadzia said, gratitude in her voice. Hitting her comm. badge, she said, "Ensign Kim, please report to my ready room." "Aye Captain," Answered a young sounding male voice. When the ensign entered her office, Janeway said, "This is our new Chief Science officer, Jadzia Dax. Please show her to her station." "Yes sir." Ensign Kim replied. Then he and Dax exited the Captain's quarters. --- They had been in the Delta quadrant for almost two days. The crew had been taken off the ship, tested physically and medically against their will, and after a narrow escape from the underground home of the Ocampa trying to rescue their comrades, had a chance to use the array to return home. But Captain Janeway, in an effort to protect the peaceful people on the planet from a hostile race of aliens known as the Kazon, had just given the order to destroy the array. B'Elanna Torres was livid. It was bad enough that they were brought across the galaxy against their will. It was even worse that she and Harry Kim had been infected with a painful disease. But this woman was about to destroy their only means of getting home! There was a possibility that she'd never see her mother again and never be able to see if she could have a relationship with her father. And at least if she were in the Alpha quadrant, there was a slim possibility that she would be able to see Jadzia again, but out here in this unexplored region of space turned that slim chance to none. It outraged her that this woman would take it upon herself to make such a life manipulating decision, and even more so that everyone was just going to stand back and allow it to happen! "What do you mean destroy the array?" "B'Elanna, calm down." Chakotay stated. "I will not calm down!" She shouted. "Who the hell is she to be giving orders around here?" "She's the Captain." Dax replied. B'Elanna whipped around to stare into eyes that she never imagined she would see again. "Jadzia." She whispered, as her heart began to beat furiously against her chest. No one seemed to notice the exchanged looks between the two women as the Captain ordered, "Everyone take your stations!" She was alive. B'Elanna was alive and still as beautiful as ever, and Jadzia's heart raced when she saw her. She knew she wouldn't be able to speak to her until much later, so she focused on the job at hand and worked with the rest of the crew to destroy the array. Several hours later after a meeting between Captain Janeway and Captain Chakotay, they decided that the Maquis would join the Starfleet crew and they would all work together to get home. Maquis officers were given Starfleet uniforms and their own quarters and work assignments, and Chakotay agreed to be Janeway's First officer. All seemed to be going well and after a long shift, Jadzia returned to her quarters to rest. When she keyed in the access code to her room, the door opened to reveal Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres sitting on her sofa. The moment she entered, Torres stood up from the sofa and smoothed out her uniform. "Hi." She said timidly. "B'Elanna." She answered mildly surprised. "How did you get in here?" Jadzia asked. "One of my hidden talents." B'Elanna replied hesitantly. Jadzia nodded, and attempting to keep a strong hold on her emotions, said. "You look good. You cut your hair. I like it." "Thanks. You look good yourself. Your hair's longer than I remember it." B'Elanna said nervously. Jadzia moved closer to the woman whose face was imbedded in her memory. "You look good in that uniform as well." "Yeah. I never thought that I'd ever wear one of these." B'Elanna said, taking a step closer the woman standing before her. Jadzia couldn't take it any longer. Rushing toward B'Elanna and gathering her in her arms, she almost cried when B'Elanna hugged her just as tightly in return. "Oh Bangwi, I thought I'd never see you again." B'Elanna said. "Me too." Jadzia said, tears of joy flowing down her face. "I've missed you so much." "I told you I'd be incomplete without you, and I was." B'Elanna replied, tears in her eyes as well. Both women held each other for a long moment before their desire for one another rekindled. They moved to the bedroom where they renewed their lover for one another. Afterward as they lay quietly, Jadzia spooned behind B'Elanna with an arm draped lazily across her waist. As Jadzia planted soft kisses on her lover's shoulder, she noticed the mark that she left on her so many years ago. Lightly tracing it with her fingers she said, "You never regenerated it." B'Elanna sighed lazily and replied, "I couldn't. It was a symbol of our love and the only thing I had to remember you by." Pausing for a moment, she said, "I noticed that you still carry my mark as well." "It's a part of me now, just like you are and always will be." Jadzia said with conviction. Then turning her wife over so that she faced her again, she kissed her and their hunger for one another was aflame once more. They loved one another well into the night, vowing to never be apart again if it were at all possible. --- Janeway sat on the sofa in her ready room with Chakotay. They were discussing the crew and Chakotay brought up the idea that since they would be in the Delta quadrant for so long that it would only be natural that the crew would begin to pair off. "You're right, of course." Janeway replied. "Today, Ensign Wildman came to me with a unique request. She's pregnant and she asked my permission to keep her baby." Pausing briefly to place her coffee cup on the table, she asked, "How could I say no to her? The baby will be the only reminder she has of her husband." "I know." Chakotay replied. "This will not be your typical Starfleet crew setting Kathryn - being that we're so far away from home." Then he handed Janeway a pad he'd been holding in his hand. "I received this request today for larger quarters from Lieutenant Dax. I thought you should see it before I made a decision." "Dax?" She replied. As she read the request she said, "So that's why she wanted to join my crew." "I'm not sure what you mean." Chakotay replied. "Dax was not one of my original officers. She asked to come aboard shortly before we left to try and find you and your crew. When I asked her why, she said her reasons were of a personal nature. I had no idea she was mated to Lieutenant Torres." "It was news to me as well. I always considered B'Elanna and I to be pretty close, but she never mentioned having a mate." Chakotay replied. "So Kathryn, your opinion as to how I should proceed?" "If the decision was yours to make alone Chakotay what would you do?" "I would grant it." He replied resolutely. Placing the padd on her lap, she asked, "I couldn't agree with you more." It was the first of many approvals to come for requests of this nature as Voyager continued on through the void of space with one destination in mind. Home. --- The End. (c) 2001 Blackcat
