The BLTS Archive - The Haunt by ILuvKate --- The air rang with the clash of bat'leths, the scrape of boots on rocky soil, the rasp of harsh breathing, and the grunts of exertion. Kathryn Janeway and B'Elanna Torres, swung the ritual Klingon weapons and dodged and feinted as they sought each to unseat the other and claim the victory. B'Elanna's youth, and half-Klingon strength were nicely balanced by Kathryn's experience and innate skill with the weapon. Kathryn played cooly and precisely, not relying on strength or speed as much as B'Elanna did. They fell into the icy black hole without so much as a flicker or flash of warning from the holodeck. The distance they fell was not great, but they were both aware of the sensation of walls rushing past them as they went down, and on the heels of that, the icy, cold atmosphere. They landed with jarring thuds in a tangle of arms and legs and stray bat'leths. It was just by some miracle of chance that they weren't impaled on the bat'leths' sharp points, but they weren't. As soon as she got her breath back, Kathryn leaped to her feet with a growl that would've made B'Elanna proud. "Computer!" she yelled. "What the hell is going on?" Irrationally, she expected the computer to reply in its emotionless voice and tell her. "God!" she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around herself. "I'm freezing! Where are we?" B'Elanna's teeth were already chattering and her breath was hitching in her throat. "I-I-I d-d-don't know-w-w," she croaked, wrapping her arms about herself as Kathryn had done. Before either of them could say a word, a blood-curdling scream rent the air just a meter from their position. They both nearly jumped out of their skin. They spoke at the same time. "What in the name of God--?" Kathryn exclaimed. "What in the name of Kahless--?" B'Elanna exclaimed. They looked at each other. "Are we still on the holodeck?" Kathryn asked. "Or have we been transported someplace?" She nearly screamed then as something webby, dank, clinging, and icy drifted across her face. She flailed her hands wildly but encountered nothing. "It'd bet-better not b-be a holo-holodeck malfunction," B'Elanna jerked out, her voice a growly menace in spite of her being so cold. "Or I'll dism-mantle th-the damn thing circ-circuit by cir-circuit." Kathryn turned to her in concern. "Oh, sweetheart," she said anxiously. "You must be miserable." She forgot their situation and drew B'Elanna close. "Poor baby," she murmured, rubbing her hands briskly over the chilled flesh of B'Elanna's arms. B'Elanna clutched her, desperate for any warmth. Kathryn wrapped her arms around her as closely as she could. "Computer," she spoke to the ship's computer, "are Lt. Torres and I still on Voyager." "Affirmative." The computer's mechanical response echoed slightly, and Kathryn raised an eyebrow. "Are we on the holodeck?" "Affirmative." "You don't suppose Tom Paris has been playing some kind of practical joke, do you?" Kathryn wondered. They both jumped in unison as a long, low, mournful moan that seemed to carry in its gloomy tones all the pain and fear of the whole of humankind. It curdled the icy, turgid air and set their teeth on edge. They both hit the deck as something large, dark, cackling and screeching suddenly sailed out of nowhere, heading straight at their faces. Kathryn could've sworn she felt the tickle of broomstraw as the thing swooped over their heads past them. I'm losing it, she thought. "Kathryn." B'Elanna's voice was muffled and Kathryn realized with a start that she had automatically covered B'Elanna's body with her own as they hit the deck. She rolled away. "Sorry, darling," she apologized. "On second thought," B'Elanna said, "that did feel kinda good. All warm." Kathryn leaned down to kiss her. "I know just how to warm you up," she murmured against her lover's lips. "Just the thing." She kissed B'Elanna again, deeply, rubbing her hands up and down B'Elanna's cold arms. "Mmmmmm," B'Elanna purred, opening her mouth to Kathryn's questing tongue and responding in like manner. Kathryn was right. She knew just how to turn up her thermostat, which was rising nicely just about now, particularly between her thighs, making her forget the chill of the rest of her body. Kathryn stretched herself out on top of B'Elanna, pushing her hands up under B'Elanna's tank top and reaching for a breast. She wriggled her fingers under B'Elanna's bra and took hold of a nipple that was anything but cold. God, this woman makes me crazy, she thought. Neither one of them knew what it was that crawled, slithered, oozed over them, but as it did, and the air became even more frigid than before, they both screamed in unison. The entity, whatever it was, seemed to engulf them both as it passed over them. Or through them, as it seemed. "Good Godamighty, what was that?" Kathryn yelped. "What the hell is going on here?" B'Elanna sat up, shivering, and it wasn't entirely from the icy air. "I don't know," she replied, "but if this is something Tom Paris has set up, I'll rip him into pieces." "I'll help you," Kathryn said grimly. "Come on. Let's see if we can get out of here." She helped B'Elanna to her feet and they stated purposefully down the dark corridor they found themselves in, walking carefully, not knowing what was going to assail them next. When they had progressed a certain distance for nearly ten minutes without coming to a door or other opening, Kathryn stopped in frustration. "I'm about ready to take something to pieces myself," she growled. "Be it Tom Paris or something else." She turned as B'Elanna didn't respond and saw her shivering, wrapping her arms around herself. "Oh, honey." Kathryn moved to take B'Elanna in her arms again. "We've got to get out of here." "You will never get out of here." The sepulchral voice boomed through the holodeck and they whirled around. "Who is that?" Kathryn demanded. "By God, Paris, if that's you, I'll--" "There is no Paris here," the voice rumbled. Something about it made Kathryn's hair stand on end. She felt B'Elanna's icy hand creep into hers. She knew B'Elanna didn't scare easily. Well, she didn't either, but this voice was especially menacing. She felt helpless with no weapon. They hadn't picked up the bat'leths when they started down the corridor. It seemed anticlimactic when suddenly something cobwebby drifted across their faces. Kathryn swiped it away impatiently. "This is getting old," she said disgustedly. "B'Elanna, there's got to be a control panel around here somewhere." She felt B'Elanna nod. "Well, let's see if we can find it." They moved to their right until they encountered the wall of the corridor. The wall felt like dank, wet stone and Kathryn grimaced in distaste. Whoever had designed this program had certainly put in all the little details. They bumped into something as they began to move down the corridor and they heard the scrape of wood against wood. Kathryn put out her hand and encountered smooth, polished wood. It was long and narrow. "A coffin," she muttered. "I'm beginning to see a pattern, here." "What?" B'Elanna wanted to know as she ran her hands over the satin surface of the coffin. "What the hell is this thing?" Kathryn explained about Hallowe'en. Her voice trailed off. "You know, the computer said we were on the holodeck," she mused. "I wonder....Computer," she spoke to the computer. "Raise temperature in here 20 degrees." Almost instantly, the chilled, frigid air began to warm. Kathryn muttered something under her breath. "The hell with this crap," B'Elanna said suddenly. "Computer, bed. Big, soft. And lights up," she added. Almost immediately the room brightened and they saw a bed before them. B'Elanna grabbed Kathryn's hand. "Come on, lady. Get naked. Time's wasting." Kathryn laughed and without further ado, pulled her tank top off over her head. She quickly unfastened her bra and let her breasts come free. B'Elanna watched appreciatively as Kathryn finished stripping and stood naked under her admiring gaze. "Come on, lover," Kathryn purred in a sexy murmur. "As you said, time's wasting. Off with the clothes. Come on." B'Elanna undressed as Kathryn watched, reveling in the feeling of knowing that Kathryn hungered for her with mouth, eyes, and hands. They fell on the bed, mouths sucking voraciously at breasts. "Ahhh, baby, baby....yes, yes, that's so good...." Kathryn murmured in pleasure and delight as B'Elanna tongued her breasts, bringing the nipples to aching points of desire. She wrapped her thighs around B'Elanna, rubbing her foot over B'Elanna's naked backside. B'Elanna made a trail of wet, sucking, nipping kisses down Kathryn's writhing body and poised over Kathryn's oozing sex. She parted the swollen lips, exposing the erect clitoris to her hungry eyes. She took the hard little nubbin of flesh between her lips and sucked gently, making Kathryn cry out and whip her head from side to side. B'Elanna brought her to orgasm twice and then pillowed her head on Kathryn's damp, sweaty thigh and watched her face as the waves of pleasure billowed and rippled through her body. Kathryn roused herself after a few minutes and returned to favor to B'Elanna in spades. She licked and sucked B'Elanna's breasts until she begged for mercy, moving down her body to torture her some more with busy tongue deep in her cunt and busier fingers deep in her anus. She brought B'Elanna to the screaming point three times before she finally moved away, leaving her half-Klingon lover sprawled on her back on the bed, body slick with sweat and sticky with love juices. "You are an evil woman," B'Elanna said hoarsely. "Evil." "Trick or treat," Kathryn said grinning. "Trick or treat." --- Copyright 1998 ILuvKate --- The End
