A single red rose lay on her table and contained a note.


'Hold on, love is just around the corner and will be shown before you.

Love,

Your Secret Admirer'


Beverly lifted the rose to her nose and inhaled deeply, taking in the
sweet aroma of the flower.

Her mind wandered briefly to who her secret admirer was and the answer
was immediate as Jean-Luc appeared in the doorway of her bedroom.

He wore a lovely white tuxedo and held another red rose in his hand.
Beverly noticed the white and red candles lit behind him.

"Care to join me?"
