The BLTS Archive- Your Quadrant Or Mine? by Deanna (sweetsorcery@yahoo.com) --- Disclaimer: Paramount is almighty and owns all of Star Trek. But I couldn't resist bringing Kilana back to Sisko. And no, I won't make any profit from this encounter. Archive only in the ASC archive, please. Anyone else, please ask me! Warning: human/Vorta sex... no problems with that! Feedback: as always, love the positive kind --- "Captain Sisko, could you come to Ops immediately?" Kira was frowning at the view-screen when the Captain exited his office and descended the short staircase. "What is it, Major?" he asked with as much concern as curiosity. Then he followed her gaze and was taken aback. "*You*?" "Hello, Captain. It's so nice to see you again." The Vorta named Kilana smiled broadly, her fine nose crinkling slightly. "You look well," she added. Sisko straightened out his uniform. "Kilana," he said softly. He was barely aware of the surprised glance he received from Kira. "You know her, Sir?" she asked directly. "Yes, we've... met." Sisko found himself at a loss for words. That didn't happen often. Regaining his composure, he asked confidently, "What do you want?" The Vorta smiled again, curling her deep pink lips in that familiar fashion. "I've come to see you, Benjamin." When she received a doubtful look, she continued, "I wanted to be sure that you got back home alright." Sisko's eyes popped open. "Excuse me?" "I *do* feel bad about what happened and I was hoping we could try again." Kilana lowered her eyes in a calculatingly demure fashion. "Try what?" Sisko couldn't believe her presumptuousness. Kira looked more than a little surprised and the rest of the bridge crew also had a hard time hiding their astonishment. Kilana seemed unfazed. "I would like to talk with you privately, Benjamin. There are certain things we really should discuss to avoid further incidents like the one on Torga IV." Realizing Sisko wasn't about to take her bait, she added, "I'm willing to meet you on *your* terms, of course." Sisko chortled. "We've tried that before, remember?" He considered the request for a moment. Then he had a disturbing thought. "Major," he called out, turning to his First Officer. "I need you to check that there have been no transports or transmission from that Jem'Hadar ship to the station, apart from this communication." He looked up at the view-screen and found the Vorta looking hurt. "And still you don't trust me, Captain. After what we've been through..." "Don't take it personally," Sisko said mildly, "but I don't trust anyone who represents the Dominion." Kilana sighed heavily, her eyes fixed on the human's. "No transports or transmissions, Captain," Kira informed Sisko. "But maybe they've come up with a way of hiding them from our sensors." She looked at the beautiful Vorta suspiciously. Her gaze was met by a steady pair of lavender eyes. "I see your First Officer is as distrustful as you are, Benjamin. Well... it seems I've come here in vain. Please accept my apologies for taking up your time. As much as I regret it, I shall return to the Gamma Quadrant without having accomplished my mission." Kilana smiled at Sisko once more and cut the transmission. Kira switched the screen to an outside view of the station and they watched the Jem'Hadar ship turn and head towards the wormhole. "Her mission?" Sisko said quietly. He scratched his head, trying to make sense of what the Vorta may have been talking about. What could she possibly have hoped to accomplish? Did it concern the loss of the Founder on board the captured Jem'Hadar ship? Was she being blamed for it? But the Vorta had a position of relative power in the Gamma Quadrant... "We should run a level 3 diagnostic, just to be sure none of the station's systems have been tampered with." Kira had started up the program even before Sisko's muttered agreement. Why was he concerned about the Vorta? They hadn't trusted each other so far and there seemed to be no basis for trust now, so why did he feel like he owed her a chance to do... whatever she had come for? "Hail her!" he ordered. Kira complied. "She's not responding, Captain." Sisko frowned, trying to hail Kilana himself. "They're not out of communications range yet. Why doesn't she answer?" Considering his options, he made a decision. "Major, I'm going to use the runabout on pad C to follow the Jem'Hadar ship into the Gamma Quadrant. Please inform the maintenance crew to prepare it." "Yes, Captain." As Sisko turned to leave OPS, Kira grabbed his arm. "What if it's a trap?" Sisko had to admit to himself that was a distinct possibility. But he didn't think so. To Kira he said, "If I'm not back within 26 hours, send the Defiant after me. For now, I'll go by myself. She couldn't have gone far yet." "Aye Sir." Kira felt decisively uneasy about Sisko's decision to follow the Vorta through the wormhole. But she knew better than to question the Captain's orders. --- After leaving the station, Sisko went through a quick systems check on the runabout before heading for the wormhole. He still wasn't able to guess the Vorta's mission, but unless the Jem'Hadar ship made use of its ability to far exceed warp 9, he should be able to catch up with her within an hour at the most. Once Sisko had arrived in the Gamma Quadrant, he switched to long range sensors. To his great surprise, he detected the ship's warp signature almost instantly. It seemed he was closer than he had expected. But why? Why was the Vorta traveling at such low speed? Within mere minutes, the ship appeared on the runabout's view-screen and Sisko tried to hail it. There was no response. All of a sudden, the Jem'Hadar ship lurched sideways, tilting dangerously, and apparently losing navigational control. The small ship began to spin, heading for a nearby class M planet. Sisko tried to use the runabout's tractor beam, but he was still too far away. He watched helplessly as the ship began to spiral down towards the planet's atmosphere, entering it at a barely tolerable angle. He made up his mind in an instant. He had to follow. --- Exiting the runabout, Sisko straightened out his uniform. He had managed to land close to the Jem'Hadar ship which seemed to be reasonably intact. Their ships were almost indestructible, but the Vorta and their soldiers were not. He began to run towards the ship, hoping to save Kilana and the rest of her crew. When he climbed inside, he was barely aware of his completely helpless situation should the soldiers decide to attack him. He had no weapons, no back-up and no way to defend himself. But once he arrived on the badly damaged bridge, he realized there was no one there. No one except Kilana, who was lying on the floor seemingly unconscious. Sisko sank to his knees, slowly lifting her upper body and supporting it with one arm around her shoulders. He looked at her closed eyes and was surprised to find her smiling. "Benjamin," she whispered. When she opened her eyes, he was stunned by the lively sparkle in her pale eyes. "What's going on?" Sisko demanded. He instantly knew he had been lured here. Why were there no Jem'Hadar on the ship and why was Kilana completely uninjured? Not even the Vorta could withstand such an impact unscathed... "I'm afraid I staged a little... accident, Captain..." Kilana volunteered, smiling as though she expected him to thank her for the deception. "I know that wasn't nice of me, but I had to know whether you'd come after me or not." Sisko frowned. "I wish I knew why I did." He sat back on his legs. "Obviously, I was right all along. You can't be trusted and you certainly can't be taken seriously." The hurt look in her face surprised him. "What do you mean by that?" "Oh please, Kilana. You act ridiculously even for a Vorta. And that's no small feat." Sisko found himself still holding her despite her clearly perfect condition. He stood, dropping her unceremoniously to the ground. "Ouch!" she exclaimed, rubbing the back of her head as she slowly rose to a sitting position. "Was that really necessary?" Her lips shaped into an adorable pout. "Was it necessary to lure me here just to prove you could?" Sisko countered. Kilana smiled, rising to her feet with the Captain's help. "Ah, but it was. You see Benjamin, how else could I have proven to you that you cared so much?" She smiled seductively, but Sisko merely chuckled. "You think I care about you?" he inquired, turning away from her and laughing heartily. He didn't hear her approach and only when her arms closed around his waist did he realize she was standing right behind him. "I know you do. Don't forget, the Vorta are telepathic." She grinned at his shocked expression. "And because I care about you too, I had to make you follow me." Kilana snaked her way around the human's body and came to stand in front of him, looking up with wide open eyes. "Why *did* you follow me?" she asked, her voice lower than usually and containing nothing of its former hesitant quality. Sisko grasped her upper arms tightly to prevent her from coming any closer. "Because I was concerned about the station, not *you*! If you've planted some kind of device there which we can't detect, you'd be wise to tell me all about it." Kilana laughed. "I love your sense of humor, Benjamin." She placed the palms of her hands against the tall human's chest. It was all the physical contact she could establish with him holding her at a distance. The barely there touch of her small hands caused Sisko to temporarily loosen his grip on her arms and she moved closer instantly. Rising to her toes, she whispered close to his face, "I think you followed me because you want me." She giggled. Sisko tried to come up with another explanation, but he was at a loss. He couldn't deny that it was unreasonable of him to have come alone and to even follow the Vorta to the Gamma Quadrant in the first place. The diagnostics Kira was running on the station would have eventually found evidence of any tampering. There was no real reason for him to be here, except... He tried the kind of reasoning that had worked for himself earlier. "I wanted to find out if you were in any trouble concerning the death of the Founder." He noted the darkness temporarily clouding her bright eyes at the mention of the dead changeling. She blinked briefly before replying. "Thank you, but I'm not being blamed for that. You are." "Me?" Sisko was surprised. "So this is a trap after all." "No, it isn't." Kilana sighed with exasperation. "I will tell you this once and I hope you will believe me. It's all I can do. I'm here alone. This is not a trap. No one knows I came to Deep Space Nine. No one knows we're here. And the only reason I came is to find out if you'd follow me." She looked and waited to see if the human believed her. Sisko smiled. "So you expect me to believe that you did this for purely selfish reasons? That's not the way the Vorta work, is it?" Kilana sighed and turned away. She walked along a row of consoles, letting her purple fingernails run over their surfaces. "The Vorta are often misunderstood..." she muttered softly. When she turned again, she looked at Sisko, her expression for once serious. "Why do you find it so hard to believe? I've made no secret of my attraction to you." Benjamin Sisko found himself in quite a dilemma. He knew it could be suicidal to trust any member of the Dominion, even if the Vorta appeared marginally more honorable than the Jem'Hadar or the Founders. Unfortunately, he couldn't deny his own fascination with this particular Vorta. He approached her carefully, just as he was extracting his tricorder from his belt. "Just making sure we're alone." She nodded, not looking in the least bit offended. "I understand, Captain." Once he had established there were definitely no other lifeforms on board, he placed his tricorder on a console behind him and stood, watching Kilana, who began to smile again. She looked just like one of the pixies Chief O'Brien had told him about - those fairy creatures from old Irish tales. "Satisfied?" she asked, stepping forward to run her fingers over Sisko's sleeve. Her lavender eyes gazed up at him expectantly. "I think so," he admitted. But there was something else he had to know. "You risked your life with this little maneuver. Was that really necessary?" Kilana smiled. "What else was I to do? I appreciate your concern, Benjamin, but I'm an excellent pilot. And there are certain things worth taking risks for..." "Yes, there are." Sisko pulled her close, his arms almost lifting her petite form off the ground as his mouth captured hers in a kiss. A whole range of unfamiliar sensations shot through Sisko's nervous system. The Vorta's body heat was as much of a surprise as the softness of her skin and the gentleness in her movements. His own body reacted instantly. Kilana sighed under her breath, her lips parting to allow his tongue access to the warmth of her mouth. She knew exactly what a human would expect from his partner. And the impersonal if cerebral way the Vorta made love had never appealed to her anyway. "Kilana..." Sisko whispered, one hand in her thick, dark mane of hair as his lips explored her fine features, planting tender kisses on her cheek and the tiny beauty spot below her left eye. His heart was thumping in his chest when he felt her hands on his shoulders. She was pressing closer to him, the softness of her breasts in that maddeningly revealing outfit tight against his own muscular body. He could feel her heart beating against him. A strange, unfamiliar rhythm... "Do what you want with me, Benjamin." She offered herself, her fingers at the nape of his neck and her lips against his throat. Sisko pushed her back just far enough to be able to undo the gold clasp on the side of her waist and to open the wrap around tunic far enough for his hands to slide underneath. She moaned silently when his hands closed over her warm, voluptuous breasts. He pushed the red velvety fabric aside to reveal the most beautiful pale skin contrasting tiny deep-red nipples. Lowering his lips to one of them, he felt Kilana's hands cupping the back of his head, as if to make sure he wouldn't withdraw. Sisko's lips closed around one small nub, drawing it in, sucking it as hard as he dared. When he was rewarded with a heavy sigh, he decided to go further, biting down on the rigid nipple gently. "Oh Benjamin..." Kilana sighed, her skin crawling with pleasure at the alien touch. So wonderfully different and exciting... Sisko continued to kiss and lick the Vorta's exquisite breasts, scraping his teeth over the soft skin once in a while to extract another sigh from his receptive partner. Kilana grasped his neck tighter, almost lifting herself up. The sensations flooding her body were threatening to make her lose her balance and she was hoping desperately that Sisko would lay her down somewhere. "Don't you pass out on me," the human murmured hoarsely against one delicate pixie ear. "You have that kind of effect on me, Benjamin," Kilana countered, smiling at him. Her voice had become very low and soft and her body was producing the most exotic pheromones. Sisko's head was beginning to spin. With one swift movement, he pushed her top down over her shoulders and slim arms, exposing her upper body to his admiring gaze. "You're incredible, Kilana," he said, his voice heavy with arousal. "You're rather intoxicating yourself." The Vorta let the restricting garment slide to the floor before beginning to undo Sisko's uniform zipper. "I can't wait to see all of you," she said, breathing heavily. They helped each other undress with trembling fingers, noting with every inch of skin revealed how beautifully they contrasted. Milky white softness against warm brown masculinity. Kilana ran her hands over Sisko's chest in awe. How solid and strong he was. So much taller than her, too. If he wanted to, he could crush her body. Somehow, that thought only excited her further. She pressed against him, her hips barely on a level with his thighs, her lavender eyes begging him to make her his. Sisko lifted her up and her legs wrapped around his hips compliantly. He looked around for any kind of soft surface to set her down on, but clearly the representatives of the Dominion didn't travel in excessive comfort. Desperately needing to possess her, he placed her on one of the consoles, not moving from between her parted legs. Fragile hands cupped his shoulders, her face speaking volumes. "Benjamin, please..." she begged. He let his hands move away from her waist and down over her belly before teasing her thighs open even further. His fingers drew patterns on the sensitive skin before moving up and parting her delicate pink folds. She moaned wantonly, wishing desperately that he would part her with his impressive hardness rather than those gentle fingers. "Now!" she demanded, and his soft laugh rang in her hypersensitive ears. "Not so impatient, my dear," he teased, but when her eyes fixed on his and she offered her full lips for another kiss, he couldn't hold back anymore. The moment his tongue entered her mouth, his erection entered her soft wetness, meeting no resistance. He groaned when he felt her tightening around him. "Don't do that... if you want to make it last," he whispered warningly into her mouth. Kilana released some of her hold on him and allowed him more control. She didn't want to end this too soon. Over and over again he pushed into her, touching her in places she'd never been touched. With every partial withdrawal, she risked the tiniest squeeze, pulling him back in. "You feel so good," Sisko moaned, and in reply, she closed her legs tighter around his hips, allowing him even deeper penetration. Sisko felt her moisture trickling out of her and his hands closed firmly around her buttocks, holding her steady as he forced his way into her with a few more insistent strokes. Her fingers dug into his broad shoulders and she felt the strangest sensation. So unlike anything she'd experienced before... It was like falling over a cliff, knowing you would land on a bed of soft feathers. "Benjamin!" she exclaimed, just as he penetrated her one more time, spilling himself inside her warm womb. He cried out. "Kilana..." Then he just held her close, not leaving her body. Instead, he stroked over her soft hair, his lips tugging gently at one earlobe. "Oh Benjamin, that was... something," she stated, causing a chuckle from her human lover. "Something? That's not much of compliment, you know." Sisko withdrew carefully, feeling wetness seep from her body. "I meant, something wonderful." Kilana rose to her feet and kissed him tenderly. When she stood back, she smiled wickedly. "What else is it you humans do?" Sisko laughed out loud. "I take it you don't need a rest?" She shook her head. "Do you?" "Well..." he looked down his body, letting her know which part of him wasn't ready for more yet. "Is there anything I can do?" she asked, lowering her eyes demurely. Sisko pulled her close and whispered something in her ear. "Oh, I see." She smiled and knelt in front of him, her hands clasping his hips... --- When they finally left the ship, night had fallen over the unknown planet. Walking hand in hand, they came to the edge of a lake which was surrounded by tall willow-like trees. Sisko hadn't even noticed how beautiful a world they were on when he'd first arrived. "Did you chose this place on purpose?" he asked with a smile. Kilana looked up. "I tried to find out as much as I could about you, and apparently, you consider this kind of place... romantic?" Sisko chuckled. "Don't you know me well?" He lifted her chin and kissed her tenderly. They continued walking in silence until Kilana stated quite unexpectedly, "You know, Benjamin, we'll be fighting on opposite sides soon." "Yes, I know." The human sighed. He stopped and looked at the delicate Vorta by his side. "I don't suppose there's anything we can do about that." "No, there isn't," she agreed. "But I tell you what we can do..." She looked a picture of innocence. "I bet I know what you're going to say." Sisko watched as she lowered herself to the soft grass and stretched out on her side, smiling up at him seductively. The human lay down next to her and took her in his arms, kissing her hungrily. --- When the two suns rose over the planet, they woke, their limbs intertwined. Sisko smiled at Kilana, releasing her from his embrace reluctantly. "Looks like we'll have to get going, Benjamin." Kilana's voice carried some regret. She stood and flicked grass off her clothing. "I'm afraid so," Sisko agreed. "Will I see you again?" He ran a finger over her cheekbone, delighting once again in her beautiful eyes. "That would be nice..." Kilana said, adding with a smile, "Now that we've finally developed a certain degree of trust between us." With his arm around her shoulders, Sisko escorted the Vorta back to her ship. "Will you be able to make it home in this?" he asked with concern. "Oh absolutely. It's hardly damaged at all. I told you, I'm good." "I know you are," Sisko teased, giving her one last kiss."Have a safe trip. It's been a pleasure." He took her hand and planted a soft kiss on it. Kilana giggled. "You too, Benjamin. And the pleasure was all mine." She turned and walked to her ship, waving to Sisko one last time before the hatch closed behind her. He watched her lift off to make sure she was okay before returning to the runabout. He was smiling. Trust did have its rewards... --- The End
