The BLTS Archive- Jefferies Tube Revisited by Joanne Collins (luchenbackoutlaw@gmail.com) --- This is not an official sequel to my story A Close Encounter.  It's just a bit of fun. 512 words.  No sheep.  Sorry anne . --- "It's dark." "Come here...ooohhh, no, not for *that*." "Harry..." "Yes, Tom?" "Let's go back to our cabin.  Now." "Later.  Anyone ever tell you how impatient you are?" "Many people, love, many people." "You should have listened to them." "What *are* we doing in a Jefferies tube *anyway*?" "You have no idea what date it is, do you?" "Stardate 5-" "No, the *actual* date." "You have me completely confused, Harry.  What are you *talking* about?" "If I have to *tell* you, it's no fun." "Well, being in a dark Jefferies tube isn't much fun *either*." "That's not what you said last time." "Last time?  What last time?" "I can't *believe* you've forgotten, Tom!" "When was the last time we were in a Jefferies tube?" "When *was* it?" "It was...gods, how long ago *was* it?" "Quite a while, Tom.  Quite a while." "Wait a minute." "That's not what you said then." "It was a year ago.  A year ago to the day." "That's right.  Took you long enough." "Well...I did know.  And I made plans.  Why do you think that I'm trying to get you to go back to our cabin?" "Well...I thought it might be...fun to relive that time.  Minus the red alert, of course.  And the possibility of being beamed out in flagrante." "If you don't want to know about my plans...I suppose they can wait..." "What did you plan, you tease?" "I'm not a tease, Harry.  You should know that by now." "I do.  And you are." "I am, am I?" "You most certainly are.  Only you, Tom, could take so long to get around to telling me how you felt." "But that wasn't *teasing*, love.  That was trying to keep you from making a big mistake." "The big mistake was you thinking that you could keep me away from you." "Oh, really?" "Really.  There was, and is, *nothing* that will ever make me give up on you, Tom.  Nothing." "I love you, so much." "I know.  I love you too." "Ow!" "What is it, Tom?" "I don't know...something sticking out of the wall.  It got me right in the back." "Let me see..." "You can't see...oh, yeah, that's the spot. Ouch!"  "Tom, whatever you just banged into...you must have done it hard, because it's swelling already."  "That's not the *only* part of me that's swelling." "I'm sure it isn't."   "Ow!" "I'm sorry." "Love, as nice as it would be to relive our first time...let's get *out* of here!" "I think it's a good idea."    "There's always our next anniversary, love." "I suppose..." "Or our wedding anniversary." "Our...Tom, we don't *have* a wedding anniversary." "Not yet we don't.  But we could.  If you'll marry me." "Yes!" --- The End
