The BLTS Archive- Missing Scene: The Q And The Grey by Joanne Collins (luchenbackoutlaw@gmail.com) --- Disclaimer: Everything Trek belongs to Paramount/Viacom. Please do not distribute, archive, etc, without my permission. May be archived on the ASC archive, the AFQ archive and R'Rain's Slash Archive only. Posting to BLTS and ASC/EM only. Anything else, please ask first. I will probably say yes, but I'd prefer to know about it. Really, Paramount are *so* sloppy! There are so many scenes that *should* have been in the Voyager episodes that they leave on the cutting-room floor. Ah, well, luckily I have an inside source that gives me access to these scenes and I can share them. Anyway, this little vignette was inspired by the scene in The Q And The Grey where B'Elanna and Q had an...interesting conversation. As the Q can manipulate space and time, this story takes place just after Q says that she's always liked Klingon women (and yes, I know that her powers weren't working. Let's just say that she had enough for this, but not enough to get to the Continuum, if you have to get picky about it ). Oh, yeah. F/f sex, if you don't like, you know where the delete key is. Please, send me feedback at m7traxlady@yahoo.com. This is only the second time I've written f/f. --- "Spunk?" "Yes...I knew a woman once...half-Klingon like you. Her name was K'Ehleyr. She had spunk," Q sounded almost nostalgic. "You almost sound like you..." "Loved her? I did." "What about Q?" "So linear...Q and I have a *Q* relationship." "I don't understand." "I didn't think you would. Q have what humans would term an 'open' relationship. I love Q, but he'd drive me *insane* if we were together permanently." "And you and K'Ehleyr had a relationship?" "For a short time. She met a Klingon, and married him. Had a child. I wonder...if she hadn't chosen him over me...would she still be alive? I know your existence is short, but...she should have had longer." "I'm sorry." "You...you *do* understand, don't you?" "Have you gone into my mind?" B'Elanna asked, wary. Q had the grace to look ashamed, "Only before we started talking." "So you know." "That you have feelings for the Ocampa? Yes." "I sometimes think...maybe there's a chance. But I don't know about her society's feelings toward same-sex relationships." "You'd have to be a better option than the Talaxian!" B'Elanna smiled at that, "Neelix is rather sweet, but I knew they weren't right for each other. He's very happy with Samantha Wildman." "You know, when Q was here a year ago, he *swore* you were interested in Helm Boy." B'Elanna couldn't help a giggle at the nickname. "You do mean Tom?" "Yes." "Oh, no, we could never have worked. We're too alike to be in a relationship. And Chakotay would have challenged me to a duel." "You mean Chuckles and Helm Boy?" B'Elanna started laughing hysterically at the mental images of her friends in bed, nearing climax and calling each other by their Q- imposed nicknames. She felt a gentle probe at her mind, and allowed Q to share the joke. To her surprise, Q started laughing almost as hard. "I - I didn't think Q allowed *mere* human humour to get to them," B'Elanna remarked, suppressing more laughter. "Well, *that* was funny," Q smirked. B'Elanna looked at the other woman, and decided that she wasn't half as bad when she allowed herself to shake off that cloak of arrogance. "It's natural, dear, unfortunately." "Pity. I like you better without it." "Really?" B'Elanna realised what she'd said. Then she realised that it was true. "Yes. I like you when you're...I was going to say more human, but I don't think that's the right word." "It is, actually, in your frame of reference. You know, this place is awfully crowded," Q observed, as she was jostled by a passing crewmember. "I'd like to continue this conversation somewhere quieter." "Uh...didn't you say that time was of the essence?" "Oh, I have enough power to delay things a little. If you want to talk more, that is." "I'd love to." Q snapped her fingers, and they were in a luxuriously furnished room, something like a hotel room on Risa. B'Elanna was going to ask where they were, but she decided that it didn't really matter. "Drink?" Q asked. "Orange juice?" B'Elanna didn't want to be impaired by alcohol when she returned to her engines. "Always thinking about them, aren't you?" Q mused. "Yes, I am." "Always thinking about the engines, the ship, the warp core. But rarely thinking about yourself, or someone to talk to when you need to,someone to come home to. Don't you ever get lonely?" "Yes, sometimes. But if I can't have what I want, I'm not going to settle for less." "Don't you ever...just want to be held?" "That's sometimes what I want more than anything. But there isn't anyone who'll understand that that's all I want. So I go back to the engines. At least we understand each other." Q looked at B'Elanna for a moment. Then she pulled the young woman into her arms, and just held her for long moments. B'Elanna settled into the embrace of the other woman, realising that all that she wanted, for this moment, was here in Q's arms. "Sometimes," B'Elanna whispered, "Sometimes, I just want to forget everything on Voyager. Just have some time where I can be myself, not the Chief Engineer." Q didn't reply, just held her a little more tightly. It was hard to say who was more surprised when the kiss happened. Just a light brushing of lips, and Q was pulling in one direction, B'Elanna in the other, both apologising. They realised at the same time what they were doing. "You first," Q said when they had regained their equilibrium slightly. "I'm sorry. Here I was telling you about how I just wanted to be held, and my feelings about Kes, and then I start..." "Kissing me? Why not? I liked the feeling of you in my arms, B'Elanna. I'd like to be with you. If it's what you want." "Really?" Q didn't reply, she just stepped forward, and took B'Elanna's mouth with her own. The half-Klingon's lips opened to the other woman's expert kiss, drawing in the sweetness from the other's mouth. "Yes..." B'Elanna murmured. It had been a long time since anyone had made her feel like she was wanted, and Q was certainly doing that. One slender-fingered hand encircled B'Elanna's neck, moving gently into her hair. "Beautiful..." Q murmured, kissing B'Elanna's ridges. B'Elanna began moving a hand slowly under Q's uniform top, cupping a breast through the thin material of the turtleneck, the other hand moving to Q's red hair. Q gasped as B'Elanna's finger began to circle the nipple through the thin fabric of the turtleneck and the bra she was wearing. A moment later, the two women's clothes disappeared. "They were *so* in the way," Q murmured, kissing B'Elanna again, then the women pulled apart for a moment. B'Elanna gasped at the sight of Q nude. She was stunning. Flawless pale skin, a triangle of red hair slightly darker than the hair on her head between her legs, a slick glisten of wetness just visible on the lips that peeked out from the patch of auburn hair. "Does this form not please you, B'Elanna? I could change it, if you wish," Q moved her arm into position. "Please don't, Q. I've never seen anyone more beautiful..." and B'Elanna was in Q's arms again, the feeling of skin on skin delicious. "You are beautiful," Q whispered, moving to kiss B'Elanna's neck. B'Elanna liked Q's attentions to her, but she wanted to make Q feel some of the sensations she was feeling, if that were possible. "Oh, it's possible," Q murmured, lying on the bed, opening herself to B'Elanna's avid gaze. B'Elanna moved to lie next to her, stroking that flawless skin gently with her fingernails, too hard to tickle, but too soft to hurt. She moved to the perfect mounds of flesh that were Q's breasts, teasing the already rock-hard nipples with her nails, then moving to take one into her hot wet mouth, continuing the teasing with her nails to the one that she was not attending to with her tongue. "Oh, yes, B'Elanna, yes," Q moaned, and she almost screamed when B'Elanna moved a hand between her legs, feeling the slickness coat her fingers, searching for the source of her lover's pleasure. She arched and moaned again as B'Elanna's questing fingers found her throbbing clit, scissoring the sensitive knot of flesh between two fingers, repeating the motions as Q thrust into them, coming with a loud scream of pleasure, drenching her fingers with her climax. B'Elanna held Q as she gradually returned from the heights, her own need secondary to just holding her lover. This would be their only time together, but she was determined to make it wonderful for both of them. "As am I," Q murmured into her lover's hair. This was...nice, she thought. Her interlude with K'Ehleyr had been too long ago... "Beautiful," Q said, wanting to taste every inch of B'Elanna's beautiful golden-brown flesh. She began at the slender neck, nipping gently along the collarbone, moving to the swelling of golden flesh just below, taking a breast into her mouth, sucking the nipples until they were strainingly erect, continuing to tease the nubs as her mouth wandered across the slick flesh of B'Elanna's stomach, down to kiss along her thigh, her calf, her feet, her toes, then repeating the kisses in reverese on the other leg. "Please..." B'Elanna whispered, lifting her hips in pleading urgency. Q answered the plea by burying her face in the sweet-smelling aroma that arose from between B'Elanna's legs, her tongue darting out to taste the juices that flowed plentifully from B'Elanna's sex, finding B'Elanna's clitoris, taking it into her mouth, while plunging two fingers inside her aching sex. B'Elanna moaned as Q's tongue coaxed a deck-shaking climax out of her, screaming and jerking her hips forward so quickly Q almost fell off the bed when the orgasm hit her. Q raised herself from B'Elanna, her face shining with her lover's pleasure, and moved to kiss B'Elanna. They stayed there a little longer, holding each other, kissing and talking, not wanting to let this brief time together go, but knowing that they must. "I think one of your ancient Earth poets said it best," Q mused, "Catch the joy as it flies, and live in eternity's sunrise." "Blake?" "Yes. I think it means to enjoy a moment while you have it, don't dwell on it's ending." "Even though the end for us is near?" "We will remember, though. B'Elanna?" "Yes?" B'Elanna asked, slightly distracted by her boots. "Promise me something?" "Of course." "Please, don't stay alone, thinking only of your engines. I know you will in some timelines, but please, not this one." "I'll try. Who knows...maybe if Kes really can't return my feelings, Harry Kim might." "You and Harry?" "I could care for him. But I must know about Kes first. I don't want to be wondering forever whether we would have been together if I'd said something," B'Elanna stood up, dressed once more in her uniform. Q snapped her fingers, and she was back in uniform too. "You could have done that for *me*," B'Elanna mock-whined. "And missed the sight of seeing you dress?" The two women moved together again for one last kiss, and Q snapped her fingers. They materialised back on Voyager at the point they had left. --- The End
