The BLTS Archive - Chronicles of Shoreleave: Without you by Aditi (aditi43@hotmail.com) --- Fifteenth in the Chronicles of Shoreleave Feedback: Yes please. Archive: ASCEM, others please ask. Disclaimer: I'm just hoping to provide some people with some enjoyable reading and am only hoping for some good feedback in return. (yes, I do think that sometimes Kirk and Spock might sometimes take leave away from each other for various reasons - as difficult as it may be! ;-). The letters will not necessarily be in sequential order according to stardate - there might be gaps but don't worry about them. I hope you all enjoy! --- Message encoded for: Kirk, James T., Captain, USS Enterprise Location: Erice, Italy, Terra Received from: Spock, Commander, USS Enterprise Location: ShiKahr, Vulcan I miss you already. I have found it is much harder to be without you than it was the last time. I have been thinking about and missing you. How was it seeing your family again? I hope they are all well. Give them my greetings. After I dropped you off on Saturday, I had to hurry home. I am admittedly surprised that I did not recessive a speeding ticket. I reached the lecture hall on time. The lecture was a success, I believe. There were 300 people present - perhaps we will see an increase in enrollment at the VSA. My aunt and uncle watched me speak. I believe they found it satisfactory. On Sunday, we hiked in the L-langon Mountains. We followed a trail which led to the ruins of a temple. I found the place quite aesthetically pleasing. I must take you there in the future. We ate lunch at the end of the trail near a dry riverbed. My aunt and uncle left for Earth yesterday. I was nearly in an accident on my way to the spaceport. I will admit to you that the experience was quite nerve-wracking. Classes start tomorrow. I am teaching a Quantum Physics course. I have been preparing my first lecture. You must take many holos of Sicily so I can see where all you have traveled. I miss you far too much. I do not enjoy being here without you. I believe that you are not the only one who has troubles when we are not together. I, too, have been discontent since you left. I have been restless and brooding and impatient with my family. The only thing that seems to help remedy this is working and studying constantly. You should not take leave away from me again - I believe being together benefits us more. I will talk to you tomorrow. Love, Spock --- The End
