Warning: STILL no sex. I'm worried I'll never get it up again.
Still not beta'd, still full of mistakes. Here's a few extra words
"his", "her", "was", "the",
"and", "it", "whatchamacallit". I seem to
skip words mid-sentence, so feel free to treat it like mad-libs or
something.
This is the third in the "Eru" series. First was
"Erudition", followed by "Erudite", and now,
"Eruption".
For anne, who threatened. . .

For a moment, there was only silence. Then there was chaos. B'Elanna
shouted out her innocence. Tom demanded explanations. Harry blamed
B'Elanna.
"That's enough!" Tom yelled.
Harry and B'Elanna both froze, mid-sentence.
Tom took a deep breath. "I just don't understand how either of
you could do this. Those were messages meant to be played only if I died.
I can't believe it.
" Both Harry and B'Elanna began talking at once.
"No, one at a time."
B'Elanna saw her opportunity, and jumped in before Harry could say
anything. "I just came down to save you the trouble."
"That's bullshit! She took the data chip last night!"
"Oh, and how do you know that, Harry? And just why are you here?
You have no business with Tom's private records."
"Oh get off it, you lying bitch."
"Harry!" Tom said, surprised.
"Sorry, Tom, I'm sick of playing these damn games. Why
don't you ask your girlfriend what lies she's been
telling?"
"Harry, what's gotten into you? And why do you care? You
haven't said two words together to me in months."
Harry laughed grimly. "Ask your girlfriend about that."
Tom frowned in confusion. "What's going on?"
"Tell him B'Elanna. Tell him how you came to me and told me to
stay away. How you told me Tom wanted me to stay away."
"I never said that!"
"I knew you didn't. I knew you never would. But I hoped you'd
figure it out on your own." Harry said sadly.
Tom turned on B'Elanna. "How could you do that? How could you
lie like that?"
"Lie! You're the one lying! And these messages prove it!"
B'Elanna screamed.
"I didn't say anything in those messages," Tom said,
"I never lied about anything."
"Oh right. Pizza? Fucking day old pizza? You bastard!"
B'Elanna's anger and rage and humiliation rose to the surface.
"You fucking bastard!"
B'Elanna gripped the data chip, preparing to snap it.
"No!" Harry cried out, lunging forward. He knocked it from her
hands, watching it spin and land on the floor.
Tom reached for it, B'Elanna going for it right after him. Tom
snatched it up, struggling to keep it as B'Elanna attacked him. Tom
stepped back, tripping over Harry, throwing himself and the irate
half-Klingon to the floor. The three struggled, all seeking the data chip.
Tom jerked his arm back, trying to free himself, and felt his elbow
connect with something soft. B'Elanna screamed, her hands going to her
left eye.
For a moment, everything stopped.
Whether it was enraged Klingon or vexed woman that caused what came
next, it didn't matter. B'Elanna fixated on Harry, blaming him for
everything. She dove for him, nails scratching deep gouges along his
cheek. Harry cried out, and put his hands to his bleeding face.
But B'Elanna wasn't done. She pounced on Tom, screaming
"He's mine!" and fastened her teeth onto her neck. Her teeth
sunk through the soft pale flesh, blood streaming, flesh tearing as she
ripped a chunk of flesh from his neck. "I've marked him! He's
mine!"
Harry, seeing Tom injured, reacted and tried to pull B'Elanna off of
Tom, while Tom pushed at her. B'Elanna locked her legs and arms
around him, and refused to let go.
It was in this frenzied position that they heard a voice. "Desist
immediately or I will be forced to subdue you."
The voice was foggy, indistinct among the grunts and groans and snarls.
Harry felt a hand on his shoulder, and then he was flying threw the air,
landing on the floor several feet away. He looked up in time to see Tuvok
effortlessly pry B'Elanna from Tom and spin her around and shove her
to the floor. "Desist immediately", Tuvok said without
inflection or emotion, and plucked a phaser from the Ops station.
"Lieutenant Paris? How badly are you injured?"
Tom raised a hand to his bloody neck, seeing it come away bloody.
"Not bad, I don't think. Probably looks worse than it is."
Tuvok inspected the damaged skin, never really taking his eyes off
B'Elanna. "No major arteries appear to be punctured. Since that
is the case, I suggest we see the Captain immediately."
Each of their eyes widened as the realization of what Tuvok said sank in.
"Tuvok to Captain Janeway."
"Yes, Mr. Tuvok?"
"We have had a situation involving three brawling crew members."
"Take them to the brig." The disgust in her voice was
unmistakable.
"Captain, all three are senior officers."
There was a pause, and then a voice filled with anger said "Bring
them to my ready room immediately."
"Of course, Captain. Tuvok out."
Tuvok gestured to the exit with the phaser. "Proceed."
Harry, B'Elanna, and Tom rose slowly and made their way to the
Captain.
They walked through the corridors, Tuvok escorting them like prisoners.
The crew watched in astonishment, seeing three senior officers bloody and
disheveled walk among them, with a phaser still trained on them.
Finally, they reached the Captain's Ready Room and entered. She sat in
her chair, eyes grim and hard. She didn't even blink as she saw the
three of them; nothing but a hard edge.
The door closed behind them, and Tuvok stepped to the side, leaving them
alone in front of her. The Captain rose, her voice low and rough. "Do
I even need to express my disappointment in this situation?"
The three shook their heads.
"Explain," she demanded.
The three glanced at each other.
"Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I want to know why my Chief
Engineer has an eye that looks ready to bruise. I want to know why my Ops
Officer has abrasions on his face. I want to know why my Pilot has a chunk
of flesh missing from his neck. Explain."
"I believe it concerns this, Captain," Tuvok said, coming
forward. They appeared to be in contention over this data chip. He placed
it in her outstretched palm.
