Italy

1987 -- Not that we stayed in Italy for long. It was an expensive place, and we only went to two ports. But the country is listed in our passports; I thought it would be worth mentioning. Famous for their pasta and the lot.

The place was very well lit, I can say that much. The night sky would light up with town lights—and the people were not all that friendly as they are made out to be. I vividly remember the one dark-haired woman that was very polite, in the manner that you behave to people you don't want to be rude to but consider them your inferiors.

Not that there was much worth mentioning. We weren't even there for two days.
