Koalas

This considerably insinuating picture is a scan of a postcard that I bought in Adelaide on my trip down there for the Writer's Festival part of the Adelaide Arts Festival in March 2000. I was wandering down one of the streets in the heart of Adelaide, and the postcard was pointed out to me. I saw the possibilities and came back later on to buy myself a couple.

The reason why I got this, not to put ideas into anyone's head, is that it struck me as three male koalas having a threesome. This probably was not the intention of the photographers, and I am not saying that it is, in any way. This is just my interpretation. For all I know, it could be of three female koalas or any mixture of genders or a family. But it struck me as entertaining.
