Ok, I've finally begun to crack some stories out of my nervous little friend. Bare with me... she only gave me this one, her first out of many. If
she gets some feedback, then perhaps she will let me post the rest of her fanfic. (Including the 400 page novel!) This was written about the time the
show ended so be lenient. She doesn't want her name posted on the web and until now hasn't even let me post her stories anonymously. I may come up with a screne name for her in the future....

The Beast and The Tame
By: (the mysterious person)

Daedalus watched Julian with growing concern. He seemed alone. As the rest of the conclave filed out of the room, the Primogen stayed by himself. He knew that look. He had seen it often enough in the mirror. But why would the Prince have it? He could have anyone he wanted.

He sighed, frustrated, and left for the comfort of his art. Daedalus uncovered his latest painting and swirled the brush in the tan colored
paint. At the bristles moved over the canvas, the painting looked more and more like his one time love, Elaine.

The sound of soft footfalls disturbed him. Glancing up, Daedalus blinked.

“Julian?” he asked. “What is bothering you?”

Julian smiled slightly. “You always know when something is wrong?”

“When it concerns those around me, yes.”

Shaking his head wearily, the Ventrue sank into the nearest chair.

“My friend, I find that I have less and less trust in the people around me. It feels as if my old self is slipping away.”

Upon hearing those words, Daedalus took one long look into Julian’ tired eyes and knew the answers to his questions. Julian hated the lies he was living. With humans, he couldn’t show his true nature. And with Lillie, he couldn’t tell her anything for fear of its use against him. The Prince, having such a dangerous past, needed someone Kindred who he could love and not fear betrayal. The old Kindred knew all too well, and he felt a pang of
sorrow pierce his heart. That feeling awakened something else. Desire.

Julian reached back and started kneading his shoulder. Daedalus moved over to him, pushed the hand out of his way, and began to massage.

“You will always be able to put our trust in me, Julian.” he assured.

The Prince’s muscles relaxed visibly. He was frightened. Daedalus knew his fears better than anyone else including Archon, but what would Julian think about his version of comfort? He felt the shoulders shake, and he moved around in front of Julian. A tear formed and dripped down the Ventrue’s face. Daedalus, already kneeling, placed a hand on Julian's thigh as he gazed up worriedly.

The Prince looked down at the sudden sensation. It was not the touch of an old friend, but rather one of love. He was shocked back into reality. An
uncomfortable silence followed. Daedalus felt ashamed. In an instant, the intruding hand was gone.

Julian sighed. “I thank you for the offer. I think I can use all the support I can get.” he said avoiding mentioning the sensation of his friend's hand.

With that, they stood simontaniously. Daedalus was painfully aware that the younger Kindred was avoiding his gaze. It hurt him badly. Julian glanced at him quickly and left. The Nosferatu shook his head with despair. The Ventrue he had helped raise, the man he had watched over, his unconditional friend had been frightened off by him.

“What have I done?” he whispered as tears rolled freely down his cheeks.

The days stretched into weeks. An eternity seemed to fit into a month in which Julian never visited... A hell that the old Kindred not once dreamed
of experiencing.

*

Cameron pounded his fists on Juliann's desk in rage. “You have crossed the line, Ventrue! How long will you allow the Gangrel whelp trample over me in the Conclave?”

Julian looked up at the annoying Brujah, rage barely contained.

“How long Prince?” Cameron spat the title as an insult.

“Enough!” Julian shouted, standing up and knocking over the chair in one fluid movement. “I have heard all I can stand out of you!”

“I say one thing to defend myself...”

“You threatened his life!”

“Oh... then all we need is Daedalus to threaten someone and we’ll all be even!” Cameron retorted snidely. “And what of you, you murdering bastard? You sure as hell would be happy to kill me!”

The upstart Primogen had gone too far. For months now, Julian had been listening to the same things. The red mists of Frenzy descended on him. He vaulted over the desk with a snarl and flung the Brujah against the door. The wood splintered as they swung open crazily with the impact. In a flash, Julian was on top of him. The elder Kindred’s hands almost unstoppable in their quest for his throat.

“Julian No!” yelled Cash from down the hall.

The Prince looked up, vaguely recognizing his name. There was no reason in his eyes, only hate and rage. the Beast.

Cash and a few other of the Gangrel guards pulled the Frenzied Ventrue off the Primogen. He snarled and lashed out at his new foe.

“Cameron!” *grunt* “Go get Daedalus!”

The Brujah struggled to his feet and ran off out the door. *Let them handle the son of a bitch themselves!* he thought as he hopped into his car and
sped away.

Cash heard the engine and grimaced as Julian’s claws tore into his shoulder.

“Ok, we have to get him there ourselves...” he told the others through clenched teeth.

After a good ten minutes of pushing, pulling, and avoiding deadly claws and fangs, the group finally made it to the gatehouse. Cash wrenched open the door and with a group efforts, they threw him down the stairs.

“Daedalus!” Cash called. “Julian...”

He had no time to finish as the Prince got up and ran towards the entrance. The Gangrel slammed it shut and braced himself for the impact that never came.

*

Daedalus heard the growls and shouts nearing his haven. He gathered up all of his potions and waited silently. With a thud, Julian landed on the stairs and rolled the rest the way down. Almost instantly, the enraged Kindred forgot the pain and raced up the stairs.

Before he could break the door down, Daedalus pulled him back. Once again, Julian tumbled down the stairs. But this time, there was the added sound of snapping ribs. He wouldn’t be getting up for a minute at least.

“Cash,” Daedalus said loudly. “Leave him here for the day. I will take care of him.”

There was a grumbled affirmation from the Gangrel and the sounds of the group’s departure faded. Daedalus didn't waste time as he frantically blocked all the exits.

After a few minutes, as predicted, Julian got up with a growl and headed for the door again only to find his way blocked by a large chest standing on end with a large beam in front of it.

He snarled and turned to be confronted by Daedalus. The younger Kindred lashed out with his claws, but the Nosferatu was too fast. In an instant, he was in a headlock with the contents of a vile being poured down his throat.

The Beast screamed with rage as the haze lifted leaving Julian once more the master of his body. But Daedalus had no illusions. The Beast was still
right below the surface. The Prince collapsed.

*

Julian awoke to the sensations invoked by the absentminded caresses of his old friend. Though once Daedalus realized he was awake, the hands were removed.

“Don’t...” he muttered.

Daedalus looked at him strangely and spoke. “What?”

“Don’t stop.” he replied insistently. “It feels good.”

The elder hesitated, but he slowly began to move his hands over the others body. He felt the curves and bumps of Julian’s muscles. He paused as his fingers encountered buttons.

“May I?” he said in askance.

At a nod, Daedalus slowly stripped the shirt off of him revealing slightly tan skin. It was smooth and silky with the smell of Ventrue blood
tantalizingly underneath. Of all the times Daedalus had healed his wounds, he had not once tasted the blood before him. He took a leap of faith as he bent down and kissed the nape of Julian’s neck.

“Do you want this?” Julian asked softly.

Daedalus considered, shocked at the question. “Have you..?”

“No, but Archon...” his voice trailed off. “Do you want it?” he repeated.

The elder shuddered involuntarily with pleasure. “Yes.” he confirmed hoarsely.

“Then have it, Daedalus.”

“Are you sure?”

“I wouldn’t have said anything if I wasn’t.”

The Nosferatu thought about the logic. No, Julian wouldn't have said anything if he wasn’t intending to accept. Then he growled and slowly
removed the rest of the fabric from their bodies. He moved around to in front of Julian and pressed him back onto the floor.

Julian’s senses tingled as those same hands that had soothed him traveled all over his body and spread his legs. The expert touches told him that
Daedalus had done this before. His lips were an intoxicating addition. He was aware of the sudden burning passion coursing through his veins. A kiss and then he was sheathed in a cool wetness. his powerful muscles arched as he attempted to drive himself further into that sanctuary.

Daedalus would have jumped for joy had he not been enjoying himself so much. It was enough that Julian accepted it, but ot actually enjoy it had
been a distant fantasy until now. but pleasure could only last so long without completion. As the body underneath him tensed, he swallowed the
precious fluid that filled his mouth.

But with the waves of fulfillment, the Beast rose again out of the darkness. Julian’s claws and fangs extended and the mists once more obscured
his vision. He flipped himself over onto his hands and knees and attempted to stand. The remainder of his seed dripped onto the floor.

The elder was prepared. Reaching forward, he wrapped his long arms around the still healing ribs and applied crippling pressure. Julian began to shake and his arms buckled from the weakness caused by the pain. He sank to his elbows.

“You won’t take him from me!” Daedalus hissed. “Especially not now!”

With determination, Daedalus put most all of his weight onto the wild Ventrue. The Frenzied Kindred’s knees slip apart to accommodate, allowing
the Nosferatu’s plan to take effect.

Daedalus knew this was his chance. The Beast was the animal side of Kindred. It understood animals. He would claim him as an animal would.

With one brutal thrust, he entered Julian completely. The Beast roared. The man moaned. Daedalus continued, feeling vividly every clinch of his Prince’s muscles. His passion raged from being dormant so long in his eight hundred year life as it pounded inside of him, aching for release. His arms moved from the chest to the stomach trapped below him.

The entire body of the Ventrue convulsed. The pressure had eased from his chest only to grip his stomach and his sex. The invading hand brought him to the edge of his limits again. He growled softly and pushed back, welcoming his lover deeper into him. The Beast’s protests grew fainter.

With a roar, Daedalus came violently inside the tensing muscle proceeded swiftly by Julian. The Ventrue’s battered body collapsed completely, letting Daedalus fall on top of him.

“Mine!” the elder whispered fiercely.

His own fangs sank into the inviting flesh and drew the even more enticing blood out into his mouth. The thick substance was deceptively sweet with a spicy aftertaste. the Beast subsided back into the darkest corners of Julian’s mind as once more the now stated Ventrue slept.

Daedalus pulled away and picked him up carefully. Moving silently, he deposited the still form on his bed and then laid down beside him. The
realization came to him as he joined Julian. He had actually done it. Julian reeked of him.
