NOTE: I've brought back the family I'd created for Gabe in my fic 'The Visit'. Actually, Marnie created them, I just named them. The references are rather simple. Isaiah and Thaddeus are Gabe's older brothers. Constance (Connie) is Gabe's twin sister. His father is Senator William Patterson (as stated in the show) and his mother is Katherine.

Now, first of all, I want to make sure everyone knows that this is a death fic. Yes, Gabe is dead. I borrowed a page from JN's real life and death to write this. If this type of story isn't your cup of tea, hit delete now. For those who decide to go ahead and read on, I hope you feel I've handled everything well.
I guess I should also put in a tissue warning. Keep a box handy. My box is almost empty from handing them out to everyone who has already read this. Don't say I didn't warn you.
