I'm just a regular person with a vivid imagination. In the late 1990s, after years of saying I would, I finally sat down and began penning a lengthy Hawaii Five-O fanfic. I wanted to write something that female fans could enjoy, something with a long-term romance for Danno that didn't end in tragedy and that would allow me to develop my vision of the characters more fully. During the process of writing that story, I received a great deal of criticism from some of the more "established" Five-O writers, who gave me a lot of grief for not writing the Steve and Danno characters as so close that not even wives or lovers could come between them in any way. In particular, I was roundly lambasted for daring to write that Danno might choose to confide in the woman in his life rather than Steve. I got so annoyed by the whole thing, that I decided I would give these people exactly what they wanted. If they wanted to see Steve and Danno close, I've give them close! Thus, my first slash story was born. It was a deliberate attempt to yank chains and it worked beyond my wildest dreams :) However, something else happened while I was writing that story. I discovered that I had an entire saga in my head, something that dealt with the psyche of a man who had discovered his homosexuality in a time and a place where he could not allow himself to be open about it. Almost against my volition, I found myself writing another lengthy saga of an entirely different character from the one I was still writing in the straight fiction world. Over the course of the next two years, I managed to turn out two book-length Five-O stories, one straight and one slash. At one point during the process, I also accepted a challenge from a fellow slash writer to write a very raunchy "spanking" story. So, there you are. That's my body of work and I hope you enjoy it.
