Summary:

Y'all don't know this, but I'm from San Diego, CA. Today, we had our Gay Pride parade and festival. Personally, I love the whole thing, but mostly I love the weeks that lead up to the parade. I live in a gay neighborhood, but most of the year the comfort level in my neighborhood is only marginally better than in the rest of the city. During the weeks before and on Gay Pride day, I feel alive and normal in a way that I don't the rest of the year.
What do I mean, you ask? I mean that during this time, I can do simple things others take for granted. While standing on a busy street corner, I can lean over and chastely kiss my partner on the lips and hear a sigh or a "How sweet," instead of shocked gasps or rude comments. It's nice to just hold my partner's hand in public without worrying if some jerk is going to make an issue out of it.
What am I getting at? Well, I would like to issue a challenge:

Using fandom or original characters, write a story that explores how your characters respond to attending a Gay Pride Parade or Festival.

Feel free to include the weeks leading up to Gay Pride. Feel free to include whatever you want. As possible themes, may I suggest:
1) Your character has just come out of the closet and this is the first Gay Pride they are attending;
2) Your character uses the approaching Gay Pride festivities to come out to friends, family, etc.;
3) Something similar to my experience I described above; or
4) Your character goes to Gay Pride and hooks up with some delicious bit while he/she's there.

For those who have never been, any gay parade outside of San Francisco is going to conjure images similar to those of any small local parade such as, a few uncomplicated floats, a couple marching bands, several local politicians all wearing fake smiles, people carrying banners that represent groups, associations or local businesses and, at least, one motorcycle club.
There are a few things seen at Gay Pride that are not seen at most local parades such as, an awesome amount of rainbows, men and women decked out in S&M leather, drag queens and young men dancing either on a float or on the street wearing only a thong or other form of small brief.
The atmosphere at Gay Pride is one of acceptance. The mood is light. Everybody's smiling and laughing. You see a lot of couples holding hands or with their arms around each other. You see a lot of alternative relationships like threesomes or dom/sub plays. In recent years, you see a lot more families - Two men or two women with kids.

Summary:

For whatever reason the author can came up with somehow Tonks ends up at SGC. While at SGC Major Sam Carter finds Tonks going through a magazine such as Playboy or Sport Illustrated - Swimsuit Issue. Tonks then explain how she's studying the photo so she can make she changes more real.

Sam of course asks for a demo, so Tonks changes into one of the woman in the magazine including the skimpy swimsuit she's modeling.

Being the scientist that she is Sam ask her if she can become male and of course Tonks is more than willing to show off her ability. So she changes in to General Hammond in the same skimpy swimsuit just as (insert a character, I was thing General Hammond or anyone else works too) walks in.

Options:

If it's General Hammond who walks in he will think up some uses for Tonks' ability to prank a certain Colonel.

Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol BDSM Challenge

Okay, so here’s yesterday I had a Mission Impossible marathon and it got me to thinking about a look at Ethan Hunt’s life if he were a Dom. It could be in a world where everyone is a Dom, Sub, or Switch. Or it could be more like the canon world, where things like that are kept private and everyone’s dynamic is kept between them and their lovers.

 

Anyway, here’s the challenge:

 

Ethan Hunt is a Dom at the core of his nature. He’s rarely acted on this instinct outside of BDSM clubs and a few scenes with people he trusted when he was younger. When he started working for the agency and became one of the top agents at IMF he pushed his desires to the back burner. And for a long time it was okay. Then he met Julia. And while they weren’t in a dom/sub relationship, her natural submissiveness sated the inner nurturer and Dom in him, and because of that their relationship worked. After the thing with Owen Davian, Ethan realized that Julia would never truly be safe as long as she was married to him. As long as people knew she was alive. So he enlisted the Secretary’s help in faking her death and accepted his mission in the Serbian prison. He satisfied his needs for a sub through his friendship with Bogdan. Though it never became sexual, it helped calm Ethan’s nerves having someone to look after and keep safe. When Benji and Carter showed up to break him out, leaving Bogdan behind was out of the question.

 

 

When the Secretary is killed, and the entirety of the IMF disbanded and disavowed, Ethan feels like the final tethers of his life are coming apart. But he’s never been one to give up in the face of imminent failure, so he pulls Benji, Carter, and Brandt together to help him, once again, complete a rather impossible mission. Along the way, he finds that he enjoys being around Benji more so than he ever realized before, what with Benji being back at headquarters rather than out in the field with him. Benji is a natural sub. He’s not weak by any means, but it quickly becomes obvious to Ethan that Benji enjoys having his orders and even in the midst of chaos he finds comfort in having Ethan be the one issue those orders. Ethan also notices that Benji’s not references to his own genius have nothing to do with being a braggart, like he’d assumed; no, it’s more about making sure that Ethan notices his value to the team, maybe even his possible value to Ethan himself. So, it really doesn’t come as a surprise when Ethan finds himself what it would be like to take Benji out of his head for a while, down into his subspace, with nothing and no one but Ethan there to keep him safe and cared for.

 

What does surprise him are his subsequently growing feelings for agent Brandt. Brandt is an enigma to Ethan. He’s known a few switches in his day, not personally, but he’s seen them in the clubs he’d frequented. But Brandt is the first switch he’s ever known personally and the dynamic mystifies and attracts him. Ethan likes that Brandt doesn’t shy away from speaking up and standing up to Ethan when he doesn’t agree with him, but also follows orders without issue almost as well as Benji.

 

So, my real desire is to see Ethan exploring a relationship with Benji and Will. I want to see how they eventually all three get together, how they work out the best arrangement for all of them given their unique dynamics.

 

Things I’d really like to see:

·         Benji being uncertain about his place in Ethan’s life and acting out when it becomes clear that Ethan is interested in Brandt. Of course, this would mean that Ethan/Benji would already have to be together, but I’d just like to see Benji acting out due to his jealousy, and Ethan assuring him that no matter what he may feel for Will, it doesn’t lessen his desire for Benji.

·         I’d also like Benji to find out about the fact that Julia is alive and that Ethan told Will. It kind goes with the above suggestion in feeding into Benji’s insecurities about his place with Ethan and fearing that Will is going to replace him.      

·         Jane being confused about the whole thing and having to reevaluate/adjust some of her preconceptions about what a Dom and Sub are (abusive and weak, respectively). Maybe she comes to the realization on her own, or maybe Will sits her down and sets her straight (I’d like it to be a friendly conversation, but also one they have because Will doesn’t want her prejudices to affect the team in anyway)

               

Okay, that’s my long, detailed challenge. Obviously, these are really only suggestions. And how you get there is up to the author. But, ultimately I want their arrangement to end up like this:

o   Ethan is the Dom to both Benji and Will, satisfying his need to care and protect those he loves.

o   Will is Ethan’s sub in addition to Benji, because he needs to be cared for, but he’s also Benji’s Dom because he needs to have someone to care for.

o   And Benji enjoys being both Ethan and Will’s sub because it gives him a place to belong and he likes having someone look out for him.
