x-over: btvs/x-men, haloween idea

saurii82 writes....This is originally an idea I and my sister cooked up for angel, but since this is a xander list i decided to twist it to have him as the mayor charachter. And add a slightly diffrent plot to include the x-men universe in a beliveble way. It´s slightly darker than the original idea.

The plot:
It´s halloween, season two. (duh, of course! it´s supposed to be another take on the haloween idea)
Sinester, this mayor freak of the x-men universe that would make the initiatives of season 4 of btvs look like playground kiddes with momma complex, encounters Ethan, the big bad chaos mage. Now, Sinester is allways into experimenting with mutants, right? For whatever reason, not to sure. He is supposed to whant some super freak to take over all the mutants, I think. You twist it how you whant. Any way, he has heard of wolverine and has infact kept tabs on him wanting to experiment with his healing abilitis to see how far it can be pushed and if reproduced in others, ect. You now the averege evil intentions. But since Logan joined the x-men it has become more or less impossible of ever getting a hold of him, at least not worth the trouble.
He encounters Ethan and eventually hear him talk about Sunnydale and the band of misfits that guards the hellmouth (bitter much?). His attention is cought when he hears about xander and his hyena possession (how Ethan knows about it, is up to you). Initially skeptic about magic Ethan proves himself when he thinks sinister doubts his abilities (tuchy much, I say). When he explanins there isn´t much he can´t do, sinister becomes really interested. He ask if there is a way of changing a persons nature with magic. The reply is, not really, not completly anyway. It has to be somewhat included in the persons nature. Would a prior possession include in changing a persons nature. Yeah, sure, atleast somewhat (Xanders memories of the hyena possession are a bit more clear than canon makes them out to be). Ethan gets a wiff of where sinester is going and seeing a perfect chance of creating havoc is more than willing to see how far sinister is willing to take the matters. Togheter they plot a scheme that will give sinister what he whants, sombody with wolverines ablilities but that he can control. Plotting out the magic to use they chose the perfect victim that would fullfill the spells requiriments.

Now magic is a tricky thing, espacially chaos wise. (How many belives they would be able to pull it of wihtout a glich? Nah! Didn´t think so.)
Ethan manipulates Xander into buying somthing other than the toy gun, a array of clothes and reportoire giving sone bullshit story of its origin and purpose.
Done properly, the endresult would be a mini clone of wolverine bound to sinister, of course on the hellmouth nothing goes as it should (as we all know). Giles comes by, smashes the Janus statue, and stop the complementery spell from completing, very much to Ethans horror. With a bit of incentive from Giles the motives for Ethans horror is revield. By disrupting the spell the spell binding the sunnydale residents is broken without conesquences but for the boy, whom was the main target in the first place, the concequences are impossible to predict.
Chaos magic works by its own order becaus even chaos has a sence of order. It would try to complete the change alredy promted by the spell, if it wern´t for one litlle thing; the Chaos god dose not like to be played a fool nor used in the way Ethan and sinester was tryning to do. there can´t exist two identical beings in the same space and time, wich had the spell succeded would have been the end result, the consequenses of that (well you have all seen star trek, andromeda and what not of sci fi shows that brings such a senario up?)are not pretty.

Skip, skip, skip.

Xander is turned in one night from a human to a mutant (wouden´t Magneto love that?). Because the change was on a genetic level when the spell ended he did not turn human again (magic and science don´t mix well). The purpose was to creat a wolverine clone, the spell ended to soon, and with a bit af incentive from a certain chaos god, he ended up insted genetilcally (ta,tat,ta,ta,taaa) Logans son. Including healing and sence enhancment with nasty boneclaws (since Logan had a pair of his own before they got replaced with ademantium).
Now he must adapt to his new situations wich isn´t going so well because of sertain sircumstances, wich can be sumarize with; 16 years of growht cramed down to a few months. Every single bone in his body hurts. Think of a baby toothing, but instead of cute little teeth it´s 3 feet long boneclaw growing in his forarms, continusaly cutting thrue muscle and tissues in his arm whenerver they popp out, wich is whenever because he can´t controle them.
About five month later he is wery and tired but still trying to hold on. Giles, Buffy, Willow and Xander go to New York to meet a contact of Giles at some museum to see if there is something they can do to help Xander. At the same time a group of mutant students and their teachers are on a feild trip to said museum.

(Do I see a first confrontation coming up?)Heh!

Ofcourse the helmouth aint unguarded, oz, cordelia, angel, faith and her watcher wesley wyndham-price are there to keep things under tap.
Anybody interested in reading such a story or write one themself?
I´ve shifted the timelines: Btvs - Kendra never showed up by died in jamaica thus calling faith making her show up in sunnyd a hole lot sooner. angel dosn´t turn bad, because the reletionship between him and buffy have cooled down somwhat in her more or less obssession in helping xander.
x-men - I´ve never read the series and only seen the movies, but the first one hapened, Logan is an x-men, magneto is out somewere.
this occurs after X1 wich means I´ve moved up the timeline of buffy, making them 16 about a year after the debacle of the liberty island.
Peeeeeeeeeealse tell if anybody is interested! To write or to read since it would be my first fiction ever!

Xander is dead, but the afterlife isn't what he had expected. He was scheduled to go to Heaven, but this is the Hellmouth and if something can go wrong, it will. *grins*

* a mix up in admissions in Heaven sends Xander (erroneously) to Hell.
* while he does enjoy visiting with Jesse, Xander still lodges a complaint to the New Soul Processing Dept. [NSPD] and they determine that Xander doesn't belong there.
* the NSPD offers him a chance to go on to Val Halla (Norse Underworld) which is a warrior's paradise.
* Xander (being Xander) gets on the wrong bus/train/subway/transporter pad/whatever-tranportation-the-underworlds-use and ends up in the Greek Underworld at Hades' Palace in Asphodel.
* in the Greek Underworld, Xander gets to meet all those cool guys from the shows Xena/Hercules such as; Strife, Iolaus, Hades, Persephone, Joxer, Gabrielle, Xena, etc., etc...

Xander runs to Giles after a particurarly nasty beating and Ripper emerges. How to Ripper and Gibbs get on when Gibbs arrives on the hellmouth...?
Giles also view Xander as his son, as he is unaware of Gibbs..... I would like Tony to be involved in this story heavily... Like the protective big brother Xander always wanted

Xander/John Wincherster (BtVS/SPN)BtVS after graduation, SPN after John dies mpreg

What if Xander rather than Mary was Dean and Sam's mother? John and Xander are together when Xan gets pregant and something happens to seperate them (demon, Buffy/Willow) and John ends up with the babies. Jump to just after John dies. The boys going through John's things find an old journal that reveals a shocking secret. A wish is made and the boys are sent back in time to reunite Xander and John and to keep John from dying.
Also because of the timeline differences between the 2 series,I was thinking to leave Buffy and SPN as alternate universes. Old Yellow Eyes could know that John would eventually be the cause of his destruction, but because he's supposed to be the father of the Anti-Christ (Sam) is forbidden to kill him, so he sends him to another reality. Unintentionally, setting events into motion. In the Buffy universe set somewhere between Glory and the Fall of Sunnydale is when Xan and John met. They find a way to send John home, but Xander refuses to go with him as the girls need him and John takes the kids with him to protect him. And 20 something yrs. later Dean and Sam have to find a way to set things straight.

Through Magick or manipulation by Powers Xander and Faith are both regressed back to children.  The rest of the Scoobies are gone, leaving Dawn with the care of two powered up warriors with the bodies and temperment of a two year old.  Dawn knows she can't take care of
them, she's being hunted, so she turns to fellow fighters or people who know about the supernatural to raise them.

Who does she chose?
How do the new 'parents' handle a baby medium/demon magnet and a mystical female warrior?
How do the new 'parents' handle cults to the kids and homicidal maniacs, both human and non-human, out to get custody of the kids.

Not wanted:
Willow as the one who cast the spell or caused the Scoobies deaths.
Everything else is open.  Slash, gen, het or all three in the same fic.
