After meeting with the true owner of the Death Note, a Shinigami named Ryuk, Light seeks to become "the God of the new world" by passing his judgement on criminals. Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as "L". L quickly learns that the serial killer, dubbed by the public as "Kira"(derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "Killer"), is located in Japan. L also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them. Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a race to prove mental superiority between the two begins.
Demon City Shinjuki [1] Genichiro Izayoi is fighting Levy Rah to prevent him from turning district outside of downtown Tokyo into Demon Central. He loses. Now ten years later, Shinjuki is known as "Demon City" and no one goes there for obvious reasons � it is full of demons. From Eroica With Love [4] It has a mostly European setting and concerns the adventures of a British aristocrat, Dorian Red, Earl of Gloria, who moonlights as an international art thief using the alias "Eroica", and his opposite number, a German NATO intelligence agent named Major Klaus Heinz von dem Eberbach. Dorian is flamboyant, swashbuckling, hedonistic, and cheerfully indifferent to most of society's conventions; he's also openly homosexual. Klaus is uptight, conservative, duty-driven, bad-tempered, and so repressed that he probably doesn't know himself what his sexual orientation is, but he does give some indications that he's not entirely immune to Dorian's attractions.
Fullmetal Alchemist (Hagane no renkinjutsushi) [7] The Elric brothers' mother is dead and their father has long since abandoned them. Deciding to perform a forbidden human transmutation to bring their mother back, they end up losing their bodies. Now Edward must join the military in order to gain certain alchemical privileges, with his one goal being to restore his brother to his original state. But with war on the horizon it's only a matter of time before they are both forced to question their morals and ultimately decide the value of human life.
Fūma no Kojirō [2] Hakuō Academy used to be a prestigious high school, and famous for martial arts. However, because its rival school Seishikan has been cowardly luring its superior students, Hakuō was going to decline. In order to recover from the situation, the acting principal of Hakuō; Himeko Hōjō, sends Ranko Yagyū to the Fūma village in search of the famous Fūma ninja clan for assistance. The leader of the Fūma sent Kojirō to Hakuō, there he faces the notorious Yasha clan who fights for Seishikan led by Musashi Asuka. Kojirō's comrades arrive, resuming an all-out ninja war that began five centuries ago.

Gatchaman [2] Gatchaman follows the adventures of five young heroes: Eagle Ken (Washio), Condor Joe (Asakura), Swan Jun, Swallow Jinpei, and Owl Ryu (Nakanishi). The team takes its instructions from Dr. Kozaburo Nambu, director of the International Science Organization. Together, they fight the forces of Galactor, headed by the alien being Sosai (often translated as "Overlord") X and his various commanders: Berg Katse (Gatchaman I), Gel Sadra (Gatchaman II), and Count Egobossler (Gatchaman F).
GetBackers [1] This manga is about 2 boys with special powers and they use it to open a shop called 'Datsukanya' [Get Backers]. Midou Ban is the one with Spiky hair, ridiculous round sunglasses, Marlboro cigarettes, blue eyes, baggy white button down shirt, baggy black pants, leather shoes and a 'Jagan'. Amano Ginji is the one with sunshine blonde hair, warm brown eyes, thinks about food even in his sleep, green jacket, white t-shirt, brown bermudas, sport shoes and is a 'Denki Unagi' [Electric Eel]. Because of their special powers, they're able to hypnotise people and electrocute their way through dangerous jobs. Both are currently bunking in their little gray car. They were kicked out of their last house because the money to pay up rent was used up to pay for the car's compound fine. They started off with a desperation for 10 yen that they had to take the job of getting back a Final Fantasy game catridge for a boy for the pay of 10 yen and get bashed up in the process. After they were nearly starved to death, an old man came to the rescue for he gave the duo some rice. Out of repaying the kind old man, both went to get back the old man's daughter who was kept in a mafia group's mansion after hearing the old man's sad story. But thing turned bad and they were nearly killed. Good thing Ban used his Jagan to hypnotise and beat the whole ganster group and ran away. Once they got back to the old man to tell him about his daughter, they found him nearly dead because he was attacked by a street hogger. Again, Ban used his Jagan towards the old man to hypnotise him and give him a dream that the old man saw his daughter before he died. That's when the 'Datsukanya' opened officially. Their adventures continue as Ban and Ginji met Ban's old acquaintace, get the chance to actually see Ban play the violin, Ginji finishing off Hishiki with his electric wave and the hidden secrets between the two of them.
Ghost in the Shell [3] The year is 2029. The world has become intensively information oriented and humans are well-connected to the network. Crime has developed into a sophisticated stage by hacking into the interactive network. To prevent this, Section 9 is formed. These are cyborgs with incredible strengths and abilities that can access any network on Earth.
Gravitation [1] Shuichi is part of a rock band called "Bad Luck" along with two other teen boys. He's quite talented and writes the lyrics for the songs that Bad Luck plays. On his way home one day, he meets Eiri Yuki, a popular and handsome writer. Shuichi's newest lyrics were read by Yuki, who insults them and tells Shuichi that he has "zero talent." Shuichi pursues him and inadvertently falls in love with Yuki. He loves Yuki with all his heart, despite his being a male, and loves him as much as he does singing. He would go to great measures for Yuki, and he eventually surpasses all of Yuki's former lovers with his strong love for the handsome writer. Yuki however has a stubborn personality and rejects Shuichi in the beginning. Later on he falls for him and his cuteness as Shuichi decides to move in with him.
Gundam Wing [84] Gundam Wing is about the colonies of A.C 195 and their struggle to survive under the secret and sinister operations of OZ. Five gundams and their pilots are there to protect them from OZ's moblie suits. Later two are upgraded and the protype Talgeese joins the plot. The final Gundams are two created with a system to increase a pilots skills. The Mercurius and the Vayate are also sometimes counted as Gundams
Hetalia: Axis Powers [0] The series presents an allegorical trivialisation of political and historic events, particularly of the World War II era, in which the various countries are represented by stereotyped anthropomorphic characters.
Hellsing [4] secret war is brewing in the night, a war in which humanity is only a pawn. The Hellsing organization has been protecting both Queen and Country for centuries, though with each day, the threat of the living dead continues to loom over the unexpected denizens of the world. Even armed with powerful automatic weapons with silver armor-piercing or mercury-ignition rounds, the Hellsing organization finds it difficult to banish these demons from the face of the earth. That is where Alucard comes in, a powerful vampire of unknown origin, though he serves Integra Hellsing with fierce loyalty. However, one night in the town of Cheddar, Alucard comes across a young female police officer who is being held hostage by a vampire priest. Through a question he asked, the young woman, Seras Victoria, decided to become a vampire and Alucard became her master. She must now struggle with the loss of her humanity as she attempts to become a suitable member of the Hellsing organization, though with the terrors of the night growing more and more problematic with each passing day, she must overcome her weaknesses if she wishes to survive.

Last Exile [1]

The story revolves around Claus Valca and Lavie Head, a young courier pilot and his navigator, and their adventures in the floating world of Prester. In this romantic sky world based on stylized Victorian fashion and society, two countries, Anatole and Dysis (sometimes phonetically rendered as Anatoray and Disith), are engaged in a long and bloody war under the supervision of the mysterious Guild. Claus and Lavie, piloting their vanship (a small wingless aircraft) find themselves involved in a plot surrounding a mysterious little girl named Alvis Hamilton, whom they must deliver as "cargo" to the much-feared neutral battleship "Silvana".

Loveless [0] On his first day at his new school, 12-year old Ritsuka Aoyagi meets a mysterious 20-year old man named Soubi Agatsuma. He claims to be a good friend of Ritsuka's brother, Seimei, who was recently murdered, and the suspicious organization called 'Septimal Moon' (ななつの月, Nanatsu no tsuki?) may be responsible for the death. As Ritsuka quickly finds out, Seimei and Soubi acted as a pair involved in spell battles. Now Soubi is Ritsuka's 'sentoki', or fighter, and Ritsuka is his 'sacrifice'. Together, they challenge the organization to find out the truth behind Seimei's death and the reason for Ritsuka's amnesia, but end up forming an intimate bond with each other as they unravel the mystery.
Mobile Suit Gundam 00 [0] In the distant future, mankind has used up all of its fossil fuels, forcing them to turn to Solar Power as an alternate energy source. The matches occur in the dueling arena, a large, high platform in the academy's outskirts, which is only open to duelists. The Rose Bride pins roses to the Duelists' jackets. They then swordfight, until one duelist wins by knocking away the opponent's rose with his blade.

Ushio and Tora [2] Ushio is just an ordinary boy who found a magic spear under his temple home. Vampire Hunter D [5]

D, a sort of lonely knight-errant, wanders through a far-future post-nuclear Earth that combines the best of pulp genres: western, science fiction, horror and high fantasy with a good dash of Lovecraftian mythos, folklore and occult science. Vampire Knight [1] Vampire Knight tells the story of Yuki Cross. The earliest thing she remembers is being attacked on a snowy night by a vampire, and being rescued by Kaname Kuran, who is also a vampire. The story takes place 10 years after that event, Yuki is now the adopted daughter of the Headmaster of Cross Academy. She and her longtime friend Zero Kiryu keep peace at the academy, making sure no problems arise between the Day Class (humans) and the Night Class (vampires). However, the peace they try to keep is fragile, and personal feelings begin to interrupt their duty.

Yu Yu Hakusho [12]

Yusuke Urameshi is a street-brawling delinquent with a tough guy approach to everything. Yusuke's mother Atsuko, an alcoholic, had him at the age of 14 and shows little interest in raising her son. He has a reserved seat in the guidance counselor's office, and numerous other delinquents in the city are trying to take him on. Yusuke is pretty fed up with life.
However, no one expects a sudden act of heroism on his part: he dies trying to save a little boy from a speeding car. In fact, when he arrives in the afterlife, he is informed that no one was expecting him to die that way, and were not prepared for his arrival.
