Final Fantasy 8 [37] Politics, magic, technology and pure human emotion fuel a quest for answers in this installment of the wildly popular Final Fantasy series. The hero of the story is Squall Leonhart, a somewhat troubled teen who is a student at the military academy known as Balamb Garden. As the game starts, the antisocial and introverted Squall is preparing to take the final steps to becoming a member of Garden's elite mercenary force called SeeD. During the required field exam, Squall's group (including his hated rival, the brash and arrogant Seifer Almasy) uncovers the beginnings of a plot by the nation of Galbadia, a global superpower with a tyrannical ruler. Squall and his comrades, Selphie Tilmitt and Zell Dincht, are SeeDs less than a day before being assigned to a mission in the Galbadian-occupied country of Timber. It is there that Squall meets Rinoa Heartilly, the young and passionate leader of a rebel faction. It is soon discovered that Galbadian President-for-Life Vinzer Deling has allied himself with the mysterious Sorceress Edea, and it falls to Squall and SeeD to stop them. Squall must overcome the pain of his past if he is to win the day--and Rinoa's heart.

Gabriel Knight [3] Gabriel Knight, dashing skirt chaser-cum-fiction writer, joins forces with his sarcastic Asian sidekick, Grace, and balding law inforcement pal, Detective Mosely, to learn more about the voodoo-related crimes plaguing New Orleans, in efforts to inspire his latest novel. Marvel Heroes [2]

Marvel Heroes is a game set in the Marvel Universe for 2 to 4 players, with plenty of opportunities for cooperation and competition between the Super Heroes controlled by the players. Players take control of a group of Super Heroes (X-Men, Fantastic Four, Marvel Knights or the Avengers) as well as the Nemesis of one of the other player's group (Magneto, Dr. Doom, Kingpin or Red Skull). During the game, each player finds allies, enemies and power-ups, and face the menacing Super Villains controlled by the other players.

Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within [2] The storyline weaves together werewolf mythology and Bavarian history with sexual intrigue and businessmen's quest for their primal roots. The game's two lead characters are Gabriel Knight – the seemingly less-than-bright but smart-as-a-fox mystery writer and bookstore owner – and Grace Nakimura, his less-than-trusting assistant. Knight has inherited a castle in a small German village and the title of Schattenjäger ("shadow hunter" in German) that comes with it. It has been a year since the vodoo murders case (The sins of the fathers) and the local villagers implore him to investigate the mysterious death of a little girl – caused, they believe, by a werewolf. Knight and Nakimura's search for clues takes them to Munich, King Ludwig II's famous Neuschwanstein Castle, Altötting and Bavaria's forested countryside. Their efforts lead them to uncover the truth about King Ludwig's mysterious death and discover a lost Richard Wagner opera,
Mega Man [3]

Mega Man's role in the original story aka the classic series, was to battle the forces of the mad scientist Dr. Wily and his ever-growing army of robots, and must stop them from taking over the planet by using their own special abilities against them. Utilizing his special Mega Buster arm cannon, and his ability to copy a defeated robot's coding, Mega Man must travel the world and traverse harsh environments in order to bring Wily's menace to an end. With the help of his good-hearted creator Dr. Light and his assorted robotic companions, Mega Man's eventual goal is to one day achieve "everlasting peace".

Metal Gear Solid [3]

Metal Gear Solid's story centers on Solid Snake, a retired soldier who infiltrates a nuclear weapons disposal facility to neutralize the terrorist threat from FOXHOUND, a renegade special forces unit. He attempts to liberate their two hostages, the head of DARPA and the president of a major arms manufacturer, and stops the terrorists from launching a nuclear strike. Snake also confronts and defeats members of FOXHOUND

Morrowind Elder Scrolls III [0] The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is an epic, open-ended single-player game where you create and play any kind of character you can imagine. Be the noble hero embarking on an epic quest, or an insidious thief rising to leadership of his guild. Be a malevolent sorcerer developing the ultimate spell of destruction, or a reverent healer searching for the cure to a plague. Your actions define your character, and your gameplay changes and evolves in response to your actions. Confront the assassins' guild, and they take out a contract on you. Impress them, and they try to recruit you instead. No two sagas are the same in the world of Morrowind.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica [1] The game is set three months after the events depicted in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 Nemesis. The plot moves away from Raccoon City and onto Rockfort Island, a solitary private isle owned by the Umbrella Corporation, although much of the later portions of the game take place in an Umbrella-owned transport terminal in Antarctica. Rockfort Island houses several facilities including a prison, a military training base, the Ashford family's palace, a private residence and an airport.
