Hi there, I'm still pretty new to the list. I haven't gotten any
hate messages yet either. I just can't understand what people
get out of that. It is really quite simple to hit the back
button when you find a story you don't like or offends you. Geez
all you have to do is read disclaimers at the top to avoid it.
It takes twisted people to try and make people into what they
want. Last I checked this was still a free country and people
have the right to write or read what they want. Well, I'll get
off the soap box now and go back to lurk mode.

I just had to get that off my chest. Just wanted ya'll to know
that one of the new kids in the neighborhood wants to close ranks
and show support too.

Subject: [VP] Little more info on my intro

I was just visiting our lovely web page. (Thank you,
Thank you, Flamingo) and I read my intro letter and I
had to laugh. It doesn't really say a thing about me.
I decided to introduce myself a little better. My
real name is Sharon. I live in Bryan Texas. This is
the neighbor to College Station where the Texas A&M
Aggies live. That is about the biggest thing going in
my neck of the woods. I am 35, married and have one
son, age 9. He also now thinks the Torino is the
coolest car around. I have been a fan of S&H since
the first run. I stumbled upon slash and Flamingo and
here I am. (Bless you) I am very happy to be a
neighbor here and have laughed so much at some things
the folks at work think I'm nuts. Not so far from the
truth I guess. I am a Starsky girl at heart, but I
have lots of love for blondie too. I am also into
Miami Vice (thanks again to Flamingo), Hercules and
Xena, the original Star Trek (love K/S) and somehow
Due South has snuck up on me and I now like them too.
Well, I am also a lurker and this is the longest post
you'll ever get out of me (maybe). I just wanted to
introduce myself to ya'll. Seems like some nice
neighbors around here. By the way does banging pans
with spoons count as a musical instrument? It's the
best I can do and I can't sing a note, but I really
want one of those fringe jackets the band has. Not to
mention the idea of Starsky in the red long johns
within reach. Work alert! Gotta go.
