Hi!!!

My name is MONA and thanks to Lorelei und Robin (a big *hug* for
both of you) I'm now a regular member of this list! (*dancing for
joy around my computer*)

I think it's about time to introduce myself properly...

As I already said: My name is Mona. I'm 31 years old, married and
I have a little 16 months old daughter. I live near
Frankfurt/Main in Germany.

I'm sorry, my english isn't very good (I have a horrible time
with the tenses in your language), but I hope, you all don't mind
since I'm not a native speaker! (*running and ducking, since
there are people who have another opinion of my english...*grin*)

The two greatest "loves" of my life are the tv series "The
Professionals" and "Starsky & Hutch".

(But I like some other tv series as well. For example: "The
Sentinel", "Miami Vice", "The Pretender" - unfortunately no slash
potential -, "X-Files" and so on...oh, and not to forget to
mention METHOS, of course! *drool*)

I discovered both series (Pros/S&H) nearly at the same time in
1982 and I'm a fan of both series since then.

I'm very lucky that my hubby loves Starsky & Hutch, too. He has
all eps on video. So I have the chance to watch them whenever I
like. We hope to collect the complete series someday in english,
too. So far we have only a few eps in english.

My favourite character is Hutch. He's such a caring, wonderful
deep person. I like Starsky, too, of course! He's sometimes so
cute...

I like the friendship and partnership between Starsky & Hutch and
I can easily imagine them as lovers. It's a very "slashy" series,
I think. The one with the most "slashy bits" I ever saw. (Only
"The Sentinel" is a bit like this, too.) It's so "obvious" that
there's more between Starsky & Hutch than just simple friendship.
*grin*

I've been reading Slash for 3 years and I'm searching everywhere
for slash stories about the two of them, but S&H stories are very
difficult to find, especially here in Germany. (Just ordered
some zines from a Pros friend who's forced to sale all her zines,
because she needs the money.)

If there's more you'd like to know about me, please ask!

Take care

Mona

Dear Friends,

finally here's the news about the latest addition to our family.
<g>

After 9 really tough hours our *second* GIRL was born on
Wednesday, February 24th 1999, at 12:08 p.m..

Her name is TAMARA and she's a real Beauty with dark hair and
wonderful grey (no, they are NOT baby-blue) eyes.

At birth she was 55 cm long and the weight was 3580 g. (Please
don't ask me how much that is in inches and lb. I really don't
know. <g>)

I've been in hospital for 4 (very boring) days. They released me
last saturday. Since then Alex (my hubby) and I are trying to get
accustomed to handle 2 kids at the same time. It's not very easy.
:)

Sarah's lovely. She's really happy with her little sister and so
far she hasn't shown any signs of jealousy. (Thank God!)

I'm glad that everything worked out fine after my really
troublesome pregnancy, and I'm glad to be at home again.

Will try to spend every available minute at my computer, reading
and answering all those mails from the past 3 months.

To everyone I owe a personal response:
Please be patient with me (as usual <g>). Personal mails will be
my TOP PRIORITY. I'll do the best I can!

Hugs to everyone out there who helped me through the sometimes
really rough days of my pregnancy with lovely e-mails, letters,
post-cards and some really nice surprises.

Love,
Mona
