How do I get to #TheAD'sOffice?
Using PIRCH for Windows

Official Office chats are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m.Eastern, 6 p.m. British standard Time, 7 p.m. CET, and every time zone in between and past that.

All the chats are held in the #thead'soffice chatroom on SQUIDGE.

Pirch can be downloaded from popular shareware web sites such as:

 
> Step 1: Setup
We'll assume that you've downloaded Pirch and are currently connected to the internet, either directly or with a modem. Now we'll open the Pirch program and put in all our settings:
  1. Open Prich by double-clicking on the icon
  2. Go to the IRC menu and select New IRC Server Connection
  3. Click on the Edit Derver list button
    - Click on Add New Network button, the second from the left, and add the name of the server to the box
    - Click on Add New Server button and fill in the box:
       - Name: squidge
       - Address: squidge.org
       - Port: 6667
       - Click on OK
  4. Fill in the other options on the setup screen:
    - Name: Your name or other alias
    - Username: whatever-you-want-to-be-called
    - Nickname: whatever-you-want-to-be-called
  5. Click on the SAVE PROFILE button


> Step 2: Connecting
Great, we've made it past step 1 and we still have ten fingers and toes! So now we're actually going to connect to the Squidge and join the world of IRC chatrooms! Okay, buckle up, this is going to be simple - I promise! Is everyone buckled up? Has everyone gone to the little agents room? We may be here for awhile! Okay, here goes!
  1. Click on the LOGIN button on the upper left corner.
  2. Choose the SQUIDGE network from the list on the upper left corner.
  3. Click on CONNECT.
  4. After a few seconds, a bunch of text will scroll by in the STATUS Window. You can ingore this.
  5. You've now successfully connected to a SQUIDGE IRC Server
  6. To enter the ad's office chatroom, go to the STATUS Window
  7. At the bottom of the STATUS window, type in /join #thead'soffice
  8. A new window for The AD's Office will pop up and you've made it!
  9. The names on the right-hand side of this window are all the other chatters that are currently in The AD's Office
  10. Anything you type in the STATUS window will appear in the chatroom window. The first thing you should do is say 'hello' to everyone and introduce yourself.
