In it's purest and simplest explanation, Gen is "no slash, no ship, just the team as it was in the movie and series so far". As we say on the list, the team helping, caring and loving each other as a team.
This does not rule out 'pre series' or 'movie' stories of Jack/Sara/Charlie or Daniel/Shau're.
This DOES rule out teamMemberAndTeamMember4eva stories. Smarm is pushing the envelope, but as the List Owner loves a good smarm, it stays. *G*
Gen can be any rating, from G to NC17. Scarey horror type fics, or silly things. So be sure to read the warnings and story notes.
