Pairing: Jack Sparrow/James Norrington, mildly- to moderately-explicit James Norrington/Will Turner
Summary: In roundabout 2010, after the US has gone warmongerly, are the trades of piracy and terrorism too close for comfort? And how much has really changed, socially?
Warnings: Language, explicit content, controversy
Feedback: More than any other story I've written, PLEASE! I'm going way out on a limb with this one, and I want to know if its crazy is a bad thing in this case.
Srettan betaed, and I love her. This is another slash-because-of-AP English, but it was technically something my US History teacher said that started it. Just think... a Bush-ism spawned this! The irony is delicious, and passive aggression feels so good.

Oh, should I use a disclaimer one of these times? Okay.: They're not mine, but the story is, and Existentialism-verse is. Am broke, don't sue, and all that jazz.
Existentialism-verse. Unbetaed. Too excited and squibbly. To everyone who has ever 'poor James'ed, this is for you!

Archive: ask me first, please, and I'll be glad to oblige.
Webpage: I ought to get one of those.
Warnings: Underlying non-con, casual and manipulative use of sex, soft bondage, and all this is only so far; it's a WIP, and could get worse, or not, all depends on what the boys decide to get into. *wink*
Disclaimer: No, they're not mine, never were, etc. etc., please don't sue me and all that jazz.
Summary: A basic exploration into sex and its various uses, as well as various characters' relationships, actions, and reactions based on the primary vantage of various beds. Or other pieces of furniture, as the case may be.
My Two Cents Worth: This is all a literary experiment, so let me know as the piece rolls on. Basically, I'm working on the idea of "what if". Or, in other words, a means to an end, the end always being some terribly unwholesome scene. The rules I set for myself: 1: ALWAYS sensible. Every action and reaction must sensibly, coherently follow the other based on the rules of psychology, humanity, physics, and circumstance.
2: NEVER stray from that which was set forth in the film, excepting matters of history, accepting that Hollywood has the authority to fudge, and the writer does not grant herself that luxury.
3: CONSISTENTLY check for continuity. Change things if necessary. (This could mean that, as time and writing pass along, the writer may end up editing a few things, for the sake of the tale as a whole.)
4: ESCHEW superfluous verbiage. In other words, never use one word, if another is better. The writer refuses to rest satisfied with any writing until she is sure that it could not be expressed to her intents ANY OTHER WAY.
So, with these rules set out, I drop my little man-pawns (and the woman-pawns necessary for supporting roles) out in the post-PotC world, approximately 1710-ish, (though the military uniforms give grand protest to that setting) wind them up, let them go, and write what I find.

A/N: It's only a week late; that's a record for me. This is for the J/W Ficathon 2, an answer to a challenge as follows: While on shore in an unfamiliar port, something unusual gets added to Jack's drink with unexpected results. Being so maddeningly late, it is unbetaed.
A/N2: This is just… not good writing. It's sort of like when you sing, and you mess up several of the notes, and your tone's rather dodgy, but you also manage to catch some of those moments when the room throbs, and everyone listening holds his breath, and it is just... right. So you decide to keep the song around in your memory banks after all. When it was really a shoddily performed piece.
It's like that. Only in text form. I'll be the first to admit it; some of this blatantly sucks. There's no excuse for it, really. But for me to perfect this, if that were even possible, would take years. Because J/W just doesn't sit well with me, I find. Mostly because they tend to do things like this to each other.

Summary: Gillette makes Commander. Groves congratulates.
AN: This is for Cicero the Orator, to make up for destroying the /Dauntless/ and killing all of her crew in "Flagship." Here, Cicero. You get Grovette *and* a new ship as well. (Well, sloop.) And I promise, it's not murderous in the least. *The /Wolf/ was a real sloop of the time period, actually. I just... picked it up and dropped it in Port Royal. It's great to be the author sometimes.
*Beta-thanks goes to Eliz, of course, for checking that I didn't let my madness after writing this all in one (insanely long) sitting seep into the piece.
*I always have fun deciding on a name for Gillette. In "By Hook or By Crook" he's Matthew, in my random AU he's Gabrial, and I got rather attached to Adrien this round. ^.^ It's all the fun of naming a character, without the work of making one! (He *really* needs a settled name though.)

Summary: In which James loses everything and finds (or is found by) Jack.
Disclaimer: Not mine, don't sue, and all that jazz.
Warnings: slash (clearly), underpinnings/overhangings of death (but no major character death)
A/N: My infinite thanks to my wonderfully bloodsucking editor, Jared, and my far-less-bloodsucking one, Eliz. Without them, this would have just… not been a good story.
For Hellborne's Sparrington ficathon. The request, from Raven Nutt, was as follows: "My suggestion for a Sparrington story would be one where Norrington sets off after the Pearl, post movie, and actually finds it out at sea. A battle ensues, in which Jack and his crew win, and take over the Dauntless. James is taken prisoner on Jack's ship, and the HMS Dauntless's crew... I'll leave that up to the writer. The actual slash of the story would take place after James's capture, and the nature of it doesn't matter (con, or non-con, that is) so long as Jack is dominant. The ending can be happy or sad." On the final polishing proofread, I just now realize that I didn't completely follow the request (lack of takeover of the Dauntless). My deepest, truest apologies, Raven, and if this is unacceptable, please let me know and I'll write a new one. Here it is though-- enjoy!
AN2: This is special *grin*. It has an alternate ending. So you readers have a special task. Your collective mission, should you choose to accept it, is to select an ending. Your invividual mission (again shouldyouchoosetoacceptit) is to tell me which you prefer. The plot bunnies continue to gnaw on this line, so I'll likely wind up continuing it, but it'd be helpful to know which one I'm continuing!

Summary: Zombies can go seksing, too. (Started out as something of a slightly tongue-in-cheek scribbling, with the stink of death about it. Got a whiff of poetic syntax, and grew like a blinking cancer.)
