The girl must be somewhat rebellious because of living her life in such a defined cage.
A canon vampire (Harmony, Dru, etc) must prove to be a problem for the slayer.

AUTHOR'S NOTES: I never really expected to find myself writing a sequel to "Pancakes," but after my son was born it turned out he had developmental delays, and it made me wonder how much of it was genetic and how much was parenting and various other things a parent wonders when a child is unwell. Even though the baby in this story's fine, I figured I'd put some of my own fears to light in my usual way: writing them out through someone else.

If you could I would like to see a famous fairy tale (like Cinderella or sleeping beauty, etc.) remade Sunnydale style. The relationship has to be either Buffy/Xander or spike/dawn. There can be as many other relationships of any style included as well but the main one must be one of the 2 listed. You must replace the prominent characters from the actual stories with main BtVS characters. Other characters may solely be used to add to the story but not take a main role. angst and a little NC-17 scenes would be nice but are not a necessity. I think that's about it. Is couple still together post-tragedy?: not as a couple, but friends that had at lot of alone time
