This is a sequel to my old story `The Man in the Picture'. It is posted on my website at: www.angelfire.com/realm2/wayfinding/picture1.html
But basically in that story Josh is shown photographs of Sam kissing a man. This is serious for Sam because he is a Congressman and has been married to Lisa since early on in the Bartlet administration. Sam has been tricked into the kiss. As Josh helps Sam avoid a scandal they realise the strength of their feelings for each other but decide that to preserve Sam's career Sam must remain married and they must not do anything about their feelings. I depressed everyone with that ending so this is to give the guys another go at sorting themselves out.
I wrote this without having seen any of S6 or 7 but having picked up bits and pieces of what was going on from the internet, so the election outcome was (obviously) for my own purposes.
This story is dedicated to the candidates for the UK Liberal Democrat party leadership, two of whom got outed by the press when I was looking for something to write about.
As usual, excuse errors in my understanding of the US political system etc.
