The world is spinning faster
Each and every day.
Insanity barely keeps to the gate,
And it is only by holding on to you,
My sweet husband,
That I maintain, fighting just to survive,
Living just to be loved by you
As every wave that crashes upon my shore
Threatens to take me further down.
Hold tight to my hand, my love.
Shield me with the strength of your heart.
Protect me, and I shall be forever yours.
Weaken ever, and I'll be there,
But I know naught for how long I can sustain
As the winds and waves of the perils of life
Cast their ravages upon my shore.
You keep me sane.

Not worth the living.

It is as though the sun has broken free from the clouds.

We can face anything, any threat, any peril.

To chase away all the fearsome monsters
