Noah spent a very long and trying day retrieving those nuclear fuel capsules. “Under water and in concrete,” he muttered darkly and let himself into his hotel room. He slammed the door behind him and locked it.

Noah walked further into the room. He shook his head, talking to himself in frustration. “He just couldn’t tell me what was going on from the beginning. That would be too easy.” He sighed heavily. “Al’s not the only one who needs a couple days off.”

Noah dropped his briefcase on the small table. He took his suit jacket off and hung it over the chair. His voice was much deeper than Al’s but he could copy the inflection perfectly. “Noah, do you really think I’d sell out my country for ten million dollars?”

Noah rubbed his aching temples, while thinking up suitable ways to get back at Al for the entire fiasco. “Yes, Al. Sometimes, I think you’d sell your own mother.”

Suddenly, someone hugged him from behind. There was an amused voice in his ear. “She would’ve insisted if the deal was right.”

Unconsciously, Noah leaned back into the warm body. “Al, what are you doing here?” he asked wearily.

Al pressed closer. “I have a couple days off. Who else am I going to spend it with?”

“Helena.” Noah gave a small smile. “You said you were going to teach her to fish.”

“We disagreed on the type of fishing.” Al kissed Noah’s ear. “It didn’t take long before she slapped me. I’m heartbroken.”

“I’m sure you are,” Noah answered dryly. “But misunderstandings happen.”

Al’s hands were busy roaming over Noah’s chest. His voice was a husky whisper. “Just so we’re clear. Since I’m not getting the fishing boat, I’ll be indulging in plenty of room service and I’m not letting you leave this room until Monday.”

“Why should I listen to you when you’ve caused me nothing but trouble the last few days?”

Al nipped Noah’s earlobe. “Hey, because of me, you have Amby Billington in custody.”

Noah inhaled sharply. “And I spent a wonderful day retrieving those fuel capsules. I owe you for that, Al.”

Al chuckled against Noah’s skin. “It was the only way I could keep them safe from Billington.” He felt Noah shudder in pleasure. He started unbuttoning Noah’s shirt, letting his fingertips brush against Noah’s warm skin. “You remember the night of the party at Billington’s?”

“Yeah.”

Al stilled all movement but their bodies were still pressed together. “You asked me what was eating me?”

Noah looked over his shoulder to see Al’s impish smile. “Yeah?” he asked suspiciously.

Al grinned. There was a lecherous twinkle in his eye. “I almost answered that I wanted to eat you in that tux.”

Noah laughed. “All right. We’ll do things your way until Monday.”

“Great!” Al smirked. “So, did you don a wet suit yourself to get those capsules back? I meant it when I said you’d look fabulous in it.”

Noah turned to face Al. He rested his hands on Al’s hips. He arched an eyebrow. “Isn’t there something better you could be doing with your mouth right now?”

Al leaned in close for a kiss. “I think I get what you mean.”
