What if an Immortal was "killed" by a serial killer. I just have an
image of Hotch or Rossi getting mad because the body vanished from the morgue. ("How the H*** did they lose the body?!") One also has to consider the possibility of lost evidence. What if the 'dead' Immortal
was key to their case and now the body's gone. And I'm pretty sure
that no immortal is going to hang around to be autopsied. (Or is it
autopsy-ed?) They wouldn't want any of their bits to end up scattered
about the morgue in different jars!
And what if the FBI start looking up and interrogating the "dead"
person's friends (whom might also be immortals) trying to see if any
of them would have spirited their "dead" friend away? (I have heard of
this possibility but don't remember where. Something about how loved
ones can get upset if they hear that their deceased loved ones
are being taken apart for evidence.)
Sorry, I just have this image of Rossi (or any other agent) trying to
interrogate Duncan or Methos and getting completely nowhere.  Duncan
just wouldn't say anything and Methos would try to steer the
conversation over to beer and how it's proof that God loves us and
wants us to be happy. Or if Amanda entered the picture- they would
just hold her as she's probably got some sort of record somewhere.
And what of the Watchers? Must have at least one Watcher getting
nabbed by the offical lawmen because one of the agents caught onto the Watcher following an Immortal the FBI were questioning or trailing.

An Immortal goes serial killer and an Immortal (like Duncan) or two
track down the bad Immortal. Duncan (big boy scout that he is) would
of course have to track down the baddie and the BAU really would hate
it if they felt that Duncan was getting in the way somehow. And they
would be very very tempted to hold Duncan. I do remember that Duncan crossed paths with Interpol and foreign police (and there was that reporter in the first season) so can you imagine the kind of
information they might end up pulling up on Duncan?!
I've always been partial to Methos and would love seeing him dragged
along. Especially if he ends up in custody WITHOUT his beer. Poor
Methos! Stuck somewhere without a drop of beer! That would be so sad!
Duncan would also try to 'protect' the Feds as he knows exactly what
they're up against (someone whom can and will get back up after you've shot them in the head or chest.) In fact this is where I see Duncan using Methos or Amanda as a sort of decoy/diversion for the Feds. The feds pick up Methos and/or Amanda and Duncan goes after the bad Immortal while the feds are occupied with the Immortals in custody.
And imagine what Methos or Amanda might want from Duncan in exchange for serving as BAU diversion.  I have this wild image of Amanda making Duncan do a strip tease for someone.
You must still have a Watcher picked up by the FBI as well. In either
bunny you must have at least one Watcher entangled by the FBI.

Nick takes the pictures at a lot of crime scenes... he has photography skills. Maybe, Nick really likes to take pictures and has had partners in the past (male partners) that like having their picture taken. Now by all means, if this has plot bunnies dancing in your head, have at it, if you want more specifics, read on.
This is my challenge, it adds to the above bit. Somehow, Grissom stumbles onto a box full of pictures of bed partners that Nick has had... as well as some pics of him. Maybe there isn't numerous bed partners, but one... one that shared the passion for photography and that's where Nick shots come in.
The pictures are staged... poses, costumes... nice, not entirely risque or... debauched... something that won't give our 37 year old Grissom a heart attack.

I've often see fics in which Harry dies yet come back to Earth as Daniel Jackson. Well that got me thinking, what if Daniel died and he came back as Harry?

This plot bunnie will need some adjustment to the time line for it to work.

Instead of ascending after saved the planet Langara, Daniel was forced into a new body that of Harry James Potter (at what point in Harry's life is up to you, personally I would go for birth)

So at some period in his life Harry decided to go back to SGC (after Daniel's death but before Harry is an adult)

Can you imagine everyone's reaction to 16 yr. old British citizen being able to list off all the planets and people the late Daniel Jackson had meet?

So an extra special twist you could have Daniel and Jack as lovers and now Jack has to face the problem of his lover back from the dead but in a body of a boy who is old enough to be his son.

Summary:

Jack was born into a magical family... well not exactly. You see Jack's parents were squid but he wasn't.

Now when Jack was born it was a dark period for the wizard world. One dark lord was dead and a new dark lord (Voldemort) raising. In order to protect Jack his grandmother bound his magic, planning on freeing it when he turn 11 but she died before then.

Believing he was a squid also Jack's parents raised him without ever telling him about the magical world.

Fast forward to when Jack was in the hands of Ba'al, the magic binding his magic finally fails with his multi-deaths.

So Jack returns to Earth the magical community register his new magical ability as a birth of a new wizard.

Now fast-forward just a little bit to when the intro of Mini-Me. Since Mini-Me never had his magic bound he is automatically registered.

But here is where things get interesting. You see Jack and Min-Me have the same magical signature and are about a year apart.

Now there are some in the magical community who are very interested in this because it means there is a way duplicate magical child which in turns mean they can increase the population of wizard community fast.

So now the wizard community is after Jack and Mini-Me. They want them to study, to figure out how to do the same thing.

Can Jack and Mini-Me escape them? Will the US government trade them if the wizard community agrees to fix some problem for them?
