After Blair's death, Jim was sent to the same psychiatric institution as Nicholas Ballard's. The doctor diagnosed him catatonic. Two years later, SG-1 came to the psychiatric institution to pick up Daniel's grandfather. Jim instinctively fixed on the existence of a possible new Guide (even though Daniel was invisible to all five sense of human being). He stay in his primitive mode until he finally imprinted on his new Guide.

About: It's while I'm watching "Bound", in which Clark saved Lex from another crazy woman again that I thought, 'god, he's like Lex's guardian angel or something'. Then I remember he did left Lex in asylum. It irritated me that Clark can be such asshole sometimes. If he cannot be truthful for once, can't he at least not be so selfish?

Prompt: What if Rodney McKay gets stuck with a Wraith on an uninhabited planet for 15 months, and they bond? Even though there was no other humans, there are plenty local plant and wild life to support a human's need. For its own survival, the Wraith keeps Rodney alive and healthy, and the astrophysicist rewards by letting the Wraith feed on him a bit now and than. After some struggle on each side, they settled in this new life. They bonded with each other eventually. However, someone finally finds them fifteen months later.

About: Ever since I read "Infiltration" by kharessa, the possibility of a Wraith/Rodney pairing just wouldn't leave me alone. And this plot bunny came to me when I was watching "Common Ground". What will Rodney do if it was him whose survival dependant on a Wriath's whim? What if he gets stuck with a Wraith on an uninhabited planet, and they need to help each other to survive? I think it will be interesting to read their struggle with each other on that planet, even later on when they went back to their original life.
