Adventure Inc: Injury challenge by peja
Summary: Aimless here with a challenge.

Actually, this challenge started on a list for another fandom, but it was so interesting that I just had to bring it over here.
The challenge is to write a fic in which you give the character(s) your own injuries.
The injury doesn't have to be life-threatening or even severe.  It could simply be a splinter.  Long or short, funny or angsty, it doesn't matter.
So, what do you think?  Anyone want to give it a try?  How about you
lurkers?  Wanna play?

Summary: Okay I thought that I'd do a three part series to this challenge, being that I've had plenty of injuries, thought that I'd hand them out a couple at a time. Ashley inspired me to start with my knee and then go after the other one's. In this story I combined two things with the knee. My knee went out twice before surgery. Once when I did injure it and then again a yr later. And I tried to give poor Gabe a concussion, however by the time I got the end I forgot about, so when I'm done with the series I'll fix it. There is a back story to the injury, but I don't think that I want to get itno it. I used to work in theatre and I was working as a hand for Bob Dylan when I did this, and yes the way that Gabe was in the ER was how I was. It was like 2am and I had class the next morning, I got out of the hospital at like 5am and was up and at class at 8am. I hate sitting around thinking about junuries, they don't heal well that way.

Summary: I'LL PLAY! Here it is, medium length.
Note: I (finally!) got to watch the ending of Spirit of the Mask and with your challenge; it gives me a starting place. (I really didn't want to put how I fell over a horseshoe stake in my backyard to get this `injury'…so yep). By the way, that show was the most exciting and fun (well, besides the mars ep where they are under the silver blanket that got interesting) that I have seen yet. (oh and I'm very glad she didn't fall)

DISCLAIMER: I don’t own them (sigh – if only) and I’m not making a dime here. No copyright infringement is intended so please don’t sue me. Besides, all you’d get is a pocket full of lint, a couple of cats, and some half-dead houseplants.
NOTES: This is a response to my ‘give the character(s) your own injuries’ challenge. Yes, these injuries are ALL mine (all the injuries for all of the characters), and they were all received in one incident – that was COMPLETELY different from what is in this fic. A lot of the dialog is also from ‘real life’. My doc got a kick out of my ‘What do ya wanna know?’ and my friend’s ‘Careful, Doc, because, trust me, she’ll tell ya.’
