They are being written under the idea of 'if you change this - what happens to their lives' Each series is different. This Series: We've Got Work to Do - Starts in 2007. So post Iron Man the Movie and SPN Season 2 (it goes AU from end of Season Two - you'll have to read to understand)
At the moment the Avenger Intiative and Ideas is more speculation since the movie will not be out for a while...
