Celeste watched the wipers go back and forth across the windshield of her BMW. She turned her attention to the rain splattering on the cold glass and sliding down, only to be caught by the wipers and flung away, like nothing, so her view would not be obscured. But she didn't care about that right now. She didn't need to pay attention to the road. Her car was parked a few feet from the entrance to Bethesda Naval Hospital. She wanted to go inside the safety and comfort of the hospital, especially now, but couldn't bring herself to. She was glued to the driver seat. She just kept staring out the window at the rain splattering onto her windshield. She would've sat in the same place for hours if a knock on her window hadn't snapped her out of her trance. She gently pressed the button on her door to put down her window a little.
"Are you all right?" A woman with dark hair in scrubs asked.
Celeste looked her in the eyes. "No." She said, her gaze pleading.
The woman looked back at her. "All right. Just come with me. I'm a nurse." Celeste was hesitant to unlock the door and get out. "Don't worry. I'm here to help you." The nurse replied. The nurse could see fear and terror in Celeste's eyes when she said that. "Oh, god." She whispered under her breath. "Please, just come with me."
Celeste slowly opened the door. "All right." She replied, and stepped out of the car. The front of her skirt was soaked in blood.
"Oh my, god." The nurse replied. "I need some help here!" She called out. A couple more people rushed over. One scooped Celeste up and helped carry her into the emergency room. "Can you tell me your name?" The nurse asked.
"Celeste Gibbs." She replied.
The nurse nodded. "Good." She wrote this down on a chart. The doctor's started to remove her clothing.
Celeste freaked out. "No."
"It's all right Celeste." The nurse replied. "We just need to examine you."
Celeste was frightened. "Okay." She stammered out.
"Oh, my." The nurse replied.

Jethro Gibbs was sitting at his desk when he got the call. The phone started ringing, and reverberated off the almost empty office walls. "Jethro Gibbs." He replied. "Yes, Celeste is my wife. She's where?" He asked, standing up quickly. "All right. I'll be there. Okay." He hung up, grabbed his coat and cellphone and hurried out the door. He drove down to Bethesda Naval Hospital and ran in the entrance.
"Sir, can I help you?" A receptionist asked.
"I'm looking for my wife." He replied. "A Dr. Pitt called me and said that she was here."
"Okay, sir. Can I have your name and hers?" The receptionist asked.
"I'm Jethro Gibbs, my wife is Celeste, same last name." he replied. "Where is she?" He asked.
"Sir, please calm down. If you take a seat right out there, the doctor will be with you shortly."
"I want to see my wife!" He yelled.
"Sir, please."
"I'll take it from here, Dorothy." A woman in a lab coat replied. She held her hand out to Gibbs. "I'm Dr. Korinda Pitt." She replied.
Gibbs looked at her hand before shaking it. "Jethro Gibbs. Can I see my wife?" He asked.
"Yes, shortly. Why don't you come with me first." Dr. Pitt pointed down the hall.
"All right." Gibbs replied.
"I need to talk to you about your wife."
"Is she okay, what happened?" Gibbs said. "Please, God, let her be okay."
"She'll be okay physically, I don't know how much I can say emotionally."
"What do you mean?" Gibbs questioned her angrily.
"Your wife was raped."
"What?" He stared at her in disbelief.
"Their's a detective in their questioning her right now. We did a rape kit and it came back positive."
"Thank you." Gibbs replied, he turned from the Doctor. "What room?"
"214."
Gibbs nodded and walked down to the room. He was hesitant to go inside, but he had to. This was his wife, not another case he was investigating. Celeste was laying in the bed, her blanket was pulled up to her shoulders, her usually beautiful blonde hair was in disarray, her cheeks were swollen, and her upper lip cut. He walked up to her and took her in his arms. Celeste cried on his shoulder.
"I love you." She whispered.
"I love you too." Gibbs kissed her forehead.
"I'm Detective Libby Anderson." The woman in the dark suit standing in the corner replied.
"Jethro Gibbs, NCIS. Celeste is my wife." Gibbs explained.
"I know." Detective. Anderson replied. "We discussed that."
"Can I talk to you outside for a moment Detective?" Gibbs asked.
"Yes, sure."
"Good." Gibbs replied. He walked outside. Detective Anderson stood beside him. "My team will take over the investigation. Celeste is one of us."
"That's fine. I'm just here because the hospital called me." Detective Anderson replied.
Gibbs looked at her, he was more worried about Celeste than anything. "All right. I'll have one of my team members compare notes, I can't put her through having to tell them."
"That's fine."
"Thank you." Gibbs said. He turned and walked back into his wife's room.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gibbs stared at the ceiling of his bedroom. Celeste laid next to him, not touching him, with her back facing him. "Celeste?" He asked. She didn't answer him, but he could tell from her breathing pattern that she wasn't sleeping. "Honey?"
"Huh?"
"I love you" He replied.
"Uhuh."
Gibbs sighed and rolled over facing the wall on his side of the bed. They slept with their backs facing each other. Celeste awoke early as the morning sun filtered through the curtain onto the bed. She felt stiff and sore. Her face still felt oversized and was sensitive to touch. She yawned, and grabbed her robe from the chair next to the bed. Gibbs was already out of bed. Celeste pulled her robe tighter around her and walked out to the kitchen. Gibbs sat at the breakfast nook table with Tony and Tatiyana. "Morning." She whispered, her throat was still raw.
"Morning, sweetheart." Gibbs said. "Do you want something to drink?" He asked.
"Yes. A glass of tea." She replied.
"All right." Gibbs got up from the table.
Tony hugged Celeste lightly. "How are you?" He asked.
"I'm not broken." Tony. She smiled weakly. "You were always the big baby growing up."
"Hey." Tony grumbled.
"Here you go." Gibbs placed the cup of tea on the table in front of her.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Later...
"I'm going to go take a shower." Celeste replied.
"All right. We'll be here." Gibbs said.
"Okay." Celeste walked back to the bedroom.
"How is she, really?" Tony asked.
"I think she's going to be okay." Gibbs said.
"Are you sure?" Tony questioned.
"Yes."
"Good, cause that's my baby sister we're talking about." Tony said.
"I know." Gibbs replied, he took a sip of coffee. A piercing scream broke the silence in the kitchen. Gibbs knocked his chair over as he ran towards the bedroom with Tony on his six. "Celeste!" Gibbs yelled out. They burst through the bathroom door. Celeste stood with a towel wrapped around her. "What?" Gibbs said. He grabbed her arms.
"I...I...I saw someone outside." She said. "A man was looking in."
Tony drew his weapon and went out to the backyard through the french doors in the master bedroom. He checked the backyard with Tatiyana. They came back inside after a couple of minutes. "There's some footprints out back." He said. "Tatiyana called the rest of the team. Don't worry, we'll handle everything."
Celeste shook her head. "I'm so afraid."
"Don't worry. You've got us." Tony replied. "We won't let anything happen to you."
Gibbs held Celeste. "We won't." He kissed the top of her head.

"What kind of leads do we have?" Gibbs asked.
Tony cleared his throat. "The semen matches a man on CODIS."
"Tony, you don't have to work on this case." Gibbs said.
"Celeste is my sister, and your wife. If you're working on her case, so am I." Tony replied.
"All right." Gibbs took a sip of coffee.
"We found his place of residence." McGee said, coming back in.
"Great." Gibbs grabbed his gun out of his desk. "Tony, call the hospital. Ask them for the name of the Detective that interviewed Celeste. I can't remember her name or find her card."
"All right." Tony replied. He sat back down at his desk.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Later...
Gibbs slammed his desk drawer closed. "Damn it, McGee."
"I'm sorry boss. That was the last place of residence listed for Jason Klein." McGee said.
"Not good enough." Gibbs replied.
"Boss, you're never going to believe this." Tony said as he walked back in the room holding a piece of paper.
"What?"
"The hospital hadn't called Detective Helen Anderson when she arrived last night. They never thought twice of it. Just thought she was there for something else. Which, she might have been." Tony said.
"No, she said the hospital called her." Gibbs replied. "She could be in on it."
Tony replied. "I'll call her and ask her to come in."
"All right. I'm going to call Celeste and see how she's doing." Gibbs said.
"Okay. Make sure you tell her I love her." Tony said low.
"I will." Gibbs answered.

"I got the information on Anderson." McGee replied.
"Great." Gibbs said.
"She defended a man accused of raping a Naval Officer in Norfolk. Left after that." McGee replied.
"Get me all you can on....the case."
"Already did. Charlotte Bridges was...um...assaulted on Norfolk Navy Base by Hank Leventhal on October 12, 2003 around 10:30 p.m. Anderson claimed that Leventhal wasn't on the Base at the time, but the forensic evidence contradicted her story. The case never went to trail because the victim refused to go to court." McGee explained.
Tony came back. "Last known residence for Anderson is 1235 Briar Court Lane, Roanoke, Virginia. And, you'll never guess what Leventhal's last known address was."

"Right." Tony replied.
"Tony, you and McGee go check out 1235 Briar Court Lane." Gibbs said. "I have to go talk to the Director."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"You'll never guess what scum we found at 1235 Briar Court Lane." Tony replied.
"Leventhal?" Gibbs asked.
"Correct." Tony answered.
"I had to keep Tony from kicking his ass." McGee replied, taking the dirty man in handcuffs to an Interrogation room.
"I did get a few good punches in." Tony answered.
"Good." Gibbs replied. "I'll question him." He walked down the hallway and opened the door to the Interrogation room
Tony and McGee stood behind the one way glass and watched.
Gibbs slammed the door shut behind himself and stared at the man sitting at the table.
"Can I get something to drink?" He asked.
"Nope." Gibbs replied as he sat down.
"Why not?"
"Because I don't care." Gibbs answered. "I need a DNA sample."
"Nope." The man laughed and crossed his arms.
Gibbs kicked the chair out behind himself, reached across the table and grabbed the guys shirt collar. "You listen up. This can go one of two ways. You volunteer a sample, or I'll shove the damn swab down your throat myself."
"Okay, okay."
Abby came and got the swab. She didn't like the look on Gibbs' face and left quickly.
When the door shut, Gibbs turned his attention back to Leventhal. "How did it happen?" Gibbs asked.
"What?"
"How, why, when, and where did you rape my wife?" Gibbs questioned.
"She's the pretty little blonde?"
"She's a blonde." Gibbs replied.
"Uh, the one with the black skirt. I remember her. Nice piece of ass. Too bad she's a screamer." Gibbs felt his blood boil.
"I'm going to shoot him." Tony said from the other room to McGee. "I'm going to shoot him."
"It's bullet proof glass." McGee whispered. "If it wasn't, I would've myself."
Tony patted McGee's shoulder. The door opened and the Director walked in. "What is Agent Gibbs doing with the suspect?"
Before Tony and McGee could answer, Gibbs had slammed Leventhal against the wall and was punching him. "Jesus. Get him out of there!"
McGee and Tony ran into the interrogation room and pulled Gibbs off Leventhal. Gibbs turned back around at the door. "Her name is Celeste, you bastard. Not, the hot little blonde thing!"
"Special Agent Gibbs." Director Morrow said, standing in the hallway with his arms crossed. "I should have you reprimanded."
Tony broke in. "That's not necessary. he got the confession, in detail. I might add."
"You both are walking a think line here. Don't think I don't know what goes on in my own building. Other agents should have been assigned to the case. Your emotional involvement is jeopardizing the legality of this case." Director Morrow explained.
"I don't give a flying rats ass right now." Gibbs replied. "Sir."
"Well, you should. Unless you want to see him walk for what he did to Celeste." The Director turned and walked back to his office.
"He's right, boss." Tony replied.
"Whose side are you on, DiNozzo?" Gibbs asked.
"Yours."
"Good." Gibbs answered."We still need Anderson. There's more to her than we know. Let's see if Leventhal is willing to give her up."
"For what?" Tony questioned. "You're not going to make a deal with him are you?"
"Nope." Gibbs replied.
"Then?" Tony watched Gibbs walked back into the interrogation room. Gibbs sat down at the table across from Leventhal. The man flinched when Gibbs put his hands down on the surface of the plastic made table.
A few minutes later, Gibbs walked out. "Let's go."
"How?" Tony questioned.
"I'm me." Gibbs replied.
They pulled up in front of a little white house.
"This is it." Gibbs said, he didn't' even loosen his grip on the steering wheel.
"Let's go." Tony replied.
They both got out of the car and walked up to the front door. After Gibbs rang the doorbell someone opened the door. Gibbs stared at the woman behind the screen door. They both instantly recognized each other. She swung the door shut and Gibbs pulled out his weapon and went in after her. Tony stood stunned for a few moments. He didn't actually think she would be here. He went in after them. Anderson made it to the kitchen where she pulled a nine millimeter and both her and Gibbs had guns pointed at each other.
"Put the gun down." Gibbs said.
"No." She replied.
"Do it."
Tony watched her start to pull the trigger. He knew he had a chance. If he did it now, she'd be less likely to pull back the rest of the way on the trigger from the muscle spasm when he shot her. He fired his gun and watched her sink to the floor with her weapon. "She was going to do it." Tony said.
"I know." Gibbs replied.

Back at NCIS
"Tony did this?" Ducky asked, looking down at the woman on his table with a bullet hole in the middle of her forehead.
"Yeah, Duck." Gibbs replied. "She would've shot me." Gibbs said. "I don't know why she even tried."
Ducky nodded. "Human nature is unpredictable, Jethro."
"That it is, Duck. That it is." Gibbs walked out of autopsy.

Gibbs sat listening to the rain fall outside. He sighed.
The door behind him unlocked. "Hi." Celeste said. She was soaked, her blonde hair hung around her neck and dripped water down her back onto the hardwood floor. You could see through her pink shirt and she was shivering.
Gibbs wrapped her in a hug, and a blanket. "You're soaked." He whispered. "What were you doing?" He asked.
"I got back in today, and went to see Tony. I just decided to walk back from there. We'll have to get my car tomorrow."
Gibbs stared at her. "You walked the whole way, that's almost 10 miles."
"Uhuh."
"In the rain?" He asked.
"Yeah, we're getting it late in August this year."
"Are you all right?" A woman with dark hair in scrubs asked.
Celeste looked her in the eyes. "No." She said, her gaze pleading.
