A hologram frowns as he scans me.

"Where did you get this bruise from, Captain?"

The edge of my desk. The corner of my coffee table. His teeth biting
into my skin.

I enjoyed it. Knowing that the purple mark was there. Knowing what I
had done. The smile that would appear on my face whenever I looked at
a particular piece of furniture and remembered what had happened
there.

The Doctor would never know that we fucked on the biobed he is
standing next to now.

"I don't know, Doctor."

He removes it, the pain.

And something is missing.
