'Seven will die...'

That news came like a blow to the head.

'...in the arms of her husband'

That was just wrong. Seven and Chakotay were just a thing. She -
couldn't- marry him. What about her? It was Janeway's own fault for
not having made a move sooner, but Janeway wouldn't have thought that
she would have chosen *him*, of all people. Her closest friend. Didn't
he know that Kathryn loved the ex-Borg? How could he betray her like
that???

Not that it mattered. They'd all be dead in the morning. The
self-destruct was set, the warning turned off and the senior staff
asleep.

Her revenge would be sweet.
