She feels his nails dig deeper into her head, thrusting further into
her throat, almost making her gag. But she doesn't. She keeps going,
Daddy's little screw-up, Mommy's little mistake, and everyone's
favorite Klingon half-breed whore, doing what she does best. It's all
she's good for and everyone knows it. She'd thought she'd shut off all
the parts that could hurt, but she had let herself be drawn in by him
and now it hurt worse then ever before. Because she allowed herself to
care about him, love him even. And she had deluded herself into
thinking he might feel the same. And who knows? Maybe...

But the name that passes through his lips isn't hers and B'Elanna's
head hangs low as she leaves Chakotay's quarters, wiping the remains
of him from her mouth with the back of her hand, dejected.
